I fell in love with the Paranormal world after reading C.C. Hunter's Shadow Falls series and became more infatuated with the heavier romance and darker elements it could produce after reading some of Lizzy Prince's work (ironically also dubbed a Shadow Falls series - what are the chances).

A little about me:
I'm a mechanical engineer and in the progress of going to school for my MBA. I've got 3 cats (more if you include the strays I've adopted that hang in and watch over the barn) and 2 horses.

I've found that writing helps significantly with my mental health and have developed a passion for it. I have 3 series that are all works-in-progress but have decided to fully focus on one for now - I've had to exercise an enormous amount of self-control to not start a fourth at this moment in time or I know I'll be bound to start mixing ideas which will make for messy editing.

Want to know more, bounce ideas off of someone, or whatever else that may come to mind feel free to reach out on any of my social medias (I'll get real-time notifications from Instagram but I check my Facebook page and goodreads at least once a day).

I’ve been excitedly waiting to read this story since I read Miranda Alberty’s first release in this trilogy, ‘Heaven’s Fury’. And boy did it not disappoint!!

This story picks up right where the first one ended and you are instantly transported back into this addictive world where the ‘good guys’ are not
always angels.

Again there are a lot of moving parts to this continuing story but Miranda performs a brilliant balancing act flawlessly as each character develops in a way that keeps you in the moment and impatiently waiting for each drama to unfold.

There are a number of twists and turns that you don’t expect, but when previous situations unfold, you get this light bulb moment and past actions come back into focus and creates a deeper understanding.

You can almost feel the fear Alexus experiences as she works to protect her friends, but her bravery and strength flow from the pages as she meets evil head on and always fights to win. She is, without a doubt, awe inspiring.

Miranda has once again given us a wonderful glimpse into the lives of such brilliant characters that have become friends. I feel I have a vested interest in the outcome and am absolutely on pins wondering what the final book will bring us.

Highly recommend, but as this is the second book, I would recommend reading Heaven’s Fury first.

5 stars just doesn’t do this story justice.

The second book of the series… I still love the FMC and how tough she is. Shes learning to let others help her but still is used to doing it on her own. I don’t know if you can really say there’s a MMC, but the male characters are great like the other females.

If you want a face paced fantasy, this is it. Also, its like as soon as I think I know what’s going to happen, the author changes it on me. I’m definitely being kept on my toes and and pulled back. I feel for the FMC cause every time she thinks she’s solved a problem, a new one pops up and is still connected. There’s a lot of mystery in the book and usually I’m good at figuring out what’s going to happen, but not with this series. Which definitely isn’t a bad thing, it just has me pulled in and really wanting to know what’s going on.

I’m committed to finding out what’s going to happen next, so I can’t wait for the next one.

this had a strong sequel feel in the She-Devil Hybrid's Journey series, it had what I enjoyed from the first book. It had that character development and was hooked from the first page of the journey. It had a strong plot and wanted to continue reading this. Miranda Alberty has a great writing style and I can't wait to read more in this series.
