Matt hasn’t had an easy year. A former Navy SEAL who sustained a terrible injury, he finds himself back home at the ranch his father left him in his will, unsure of what to do next and growing more depressed and lonely by the day. A profile created on a dating site one night after too many beers is a last shot at something more…
Allie didn’t expect to find love when she came to Texas. But there’s something about the handsome stranger she meets for coffee that makes her want to learn more…and see more, too. She can’t help the way Matt makes her feel, even if it is moving faster than she ever anticipated.
She might be exactly the kind of woman Matt needs to bring him back from the brink, but can two strangers who barely know each other cross these boundaries to find love?
The Navy SEAL's Email Order Bride isn't really a part of a series but there is short story about one of the brothers. It's a story about a guy in a military who needs to marry ASAP and a girl who wants a baby very badly.
I very much enjoyed this book but I guess I wish there was not much development. Regan went from not wanting to give Matt a chance to moving with him very fast. Regan and Matt still were very cute and it was a very quick read.
The Navy SEALS Email Ordered Bride Author: Cora Seton Review by: Karen Merrill September 22, 2016 This was a great book! Although email brides aren’t a new premise by any means, Ms. Seaton managed to make this a fun and fresh read. It was about four brothers, all in different branches of the military who inherit the homestead they grew up on but was lost to an uncle after their parents’ death. There were conditions tied to this inheritance. First, they have a year to get the ranch up and running again and restocked with cattle. Next, they must each get married within a year, and produce at least one child between the four of them. Seeing how they are all currently in the military, this seems like an almost impossible feat but Mason, the eldest, and the soonest to be released from active duty makes it his mission in life to make it happen. Regan, desperate to have a child of her own has resigned herself to artificial insemination. She simply can’t find anyone in New York City to fall in “like” with never mind “love”. She accidently come across an add placed for a “Wife Wanted” while surfing one night and is intrigued by the businesslike approach of the writer. She replies, not because she’s interested, but because she’s just going to mess with him. Her reply to his business like add was hilarious! Had me laughing out loud… She sends him a picture of her naked… foot! That’s the way to show the stick in the mud how to loosen up a little! What started out as a joke, soon became flirtation, and then serious online courtship. She couldn’t believe that she was developing feelings for a man she has never met except via Skype! Mason, completely blown away by Regan, her beauty, her sense of humor, and her desire for the same things in life as him (primarily becoming a mother like immediately), knows that she is the one and he convinces her to give him a chance. She agrees to a trial run and their off to Montana only to find the job much more than she or Mason expected. Mason Hall was seriously run down and the land was also suffering badly from neglect. With both Mason and Regan working constantly Mason wasn’t sure it was even possible to meet his Aunt’s conditions. He contacted his brothers asking for money to assist in the repairs and to finalize their return dates. Begrudgingly, his brothers agreed to send money and assured him they would be there soon. Mason and Regan plugged along, facing the daunting task before them alone. The only benefit to the situation was that the hardship brought them closer. Mason and Regan’s feeling for each other had developed into deep and abiding love. Would they be able to restore Mason Hall in time? Would his brother’s search for a wives be successful? Would Mason and Regan be successful is getting pregnant? Are all these answers even found in this book? Sorry, you have to read it to find out. All I can say is I really enjoyed this book and had a hard time putting it down. I loved the brother’s theme, the Montanan homestead, the Navy Seal and even the email element. The Skype part was cute too. This was a great book! Oh, I’ve said that already. Sorry. Overall recommendation (scale 1-5) 4 Heat Index (scale 1-10) 8 (Very hot, well scripted, straight forward sex.)
I really wish this book would have kept going, going, going. I was so engrossed and then we finished with Mason and Regan. Regan had a good idea about having a baby on her own but then she meets Mason online, who has to get married ASAP, and ends up falling in love. We're taking a NYC girl and putting her in the middle of Montana, where she actually flourishes. She will be able to have her dreams with the hot Navy Seal. But there's more to come. He has 3 more brothers who have a limited amount of time to get married. Mason's uncle took the family home and stripped it. But Regan can see the potential and even helps out some of the ladies in town. You really have to read this. Especially how she ends up beating a Navy Seal in an obstacle course. You will love it. Totally worth it.
This was free on ibooks.com. So I gave it a go. It had cute and witty dialog via email, then skype between the two leads. You can see how the leads conversations stir interest in each other. Okay, so you predict what is going to happen at the end. However, how they get to the end is cute and interesting. It's a quick read that's quite pleasant and enjoyable. This is the first of four books about four military brothers. I was a sucker and ended up purchasing the rest of the series because it had a nice story arc. Those books, I did purchase!
This is the third book I’ve read in this series/related series and I’ve enjoyed them all equally! I really appreciate the world of Chance Creek, and all of the characters created within it
4 hunky cowboys enter the US military in each of 4 different services. They are brothers with a ranch that got effectively trashed by their uncle who inherited after their father died.
Their aunt now owns it and has promised to give it back to them provided they do one thing for her – they must all marry within the year – and one of them must have a child. And the clock is ticking.
So the first to go is the Navy Seal who is about to leave the service.
He creates an advert for a bride. But by accident meets up with someone who has never lived on ranch.
I love the sneaky trick played on the Commando course and can quite understand why it existed with 4 lively hulking boys around.
I enjoyed this. It kept me interested and was humourous.
If you like it there are stories about each of the brothers.
Really want enjoyed this simple down to earth story. But I noticed in the blurb of Colts story Heather is his lost love, but this book. said she was Austin's. oops.
