4 - Of all the Christmas tree joints in all the world... Stars!
It’s been a while since I spent time in Bell Harbor, and I have fond memories of my previous visits. Tracy Brogan always delivers a humorous and heart-warming romance between her couples and Kelsey and Drew’s, Christmas coming together was certainly no exception.
Add in the numerous recurring characters, from the previous books in the series, and a little Christmas Jungle, and this was a really entertaining and enjoyable novella.
"I’ve gotten porno spam that was more romantic than that.”
Drew was the geeky guy at school that had a secret crush on the popular Kelsey back in school, but never acted on his attraction, now Kelsey is back and he isn’t going to waste his second chance to get to know her better.
Tracy didn’t disappoint, and Jingle Bell Harbor was a charming and welcome addition to the series.

Kelsey is waiting to board a plane for Hawaii when she learns her grandmother has fallen and broken her leg. And to completely ruin her Christmas spirit her fiancé decides to head off and enjoy Hawaii while she returns to cold and bleak Bell Harbor to look after her gran.
Then when she arrives she runs into an old high-school friend who shows her what a partner should be.
In High-School Drew had a serious crush on Kelsey but he was always to scared to ask her out. Now 10 years later and learning that she is planning to break up with her fiancé he is determined put things right and make up for all the lost years.
Jingle Bell Harbor is quite a hoot. Everyone who reads CR will know the story but honestly it's so funny that you probably won't even notice.
I enjoyed this well-written, holiday novella. It kept me interested and entertained and it was a quick and perfect read for Christmas time.
It was a Read & Listen for Free with my KU subscription, so I thought I would give this new-to-me author a try. And I’m glad I did!
Kelsey is supposed to be going on a trip to Hawaii with her boyfriend, but her Grandmother’s fall/broken hip requires her to stay and take care of her instead. Yet her BF goes to Hawaii without her.
It takes a trip home, a run-in with a hunky classmate from high school, and her sister talking some sense into her to see that her relationship with her BF wasn’t a healthy relationship at all. It was one-sided and selfish - all on his part.
So it was no surprise when all-grown-up-and-filled-out-nicely Drew from high school ran into her, flirted with her, treated her with respect, and showed her exactly what she was missing.
This story was low on the angst, high on the charm, and I’m glad I squeezed it in. It was my first read/listen by this author and I look forward to more.
**I started with the audiobook and got about halfway through. Then finished by reading it. I thought the narrators did a good job.
Drew, once known as little Junior, now not so little but broad and handsome, is probably Bell Harbor's most eligible bachelor and can't believe his luck, when his high school dream girl is back, complaining about missing her vacation more than about her inevitable break-up.
Kelsey works for the worlds second largest christmas store, meaning she's practically contracted to be jolly. That's why she wanted to escape christmas by going to Hawaii for a romantic vacation. But things changed and while she has to go back home to Bell Harbor to help her grandma after an accident, her self-absorbed boyfriend without hesitation decided to enjoy their anticipated romantic escape alone and makes her question not only her relationship but also her job and jer life...
What a perfect, cheesy little christmas romance. The idea of someone sick of christmas is well done here, the bachelor auction is also nothing new but meeting quirky Fontaine again made it a lot of fun. Plus there's Dody, also known as the funniest grandma walking around, Bell Harbor's very own TMZ, the first to deliver the news but rarely having the details right.
Adding his stalker-bachelorette and her dickish boyfriend with his unexpected proposal and the huge misunderstanding this is full of cliche but I loved it. There were some moments of frustration, though. Most of all with her. A predictable, cheesy romance wrapped in festive atmosphere is just exactly what I want.
This was a very short, cute and super sweet read. At times it bordered on cheesy, the MC’s both corny and over the top. After her grandma is injured and her boyfriend decides to go on “their” Hawaiian heroine stays behind to help out. Her grandmother is a a force of nature and was by far the best part of the book. She was outspoken, knows more about whips chains and Mr. Grey than your average twenty something. While being left behind the heroine realize she how shitty her relationship was and if u ask me they didn’t even have a relationship she was more his go to girl, always there to do anything the company should need. While ranting about her woes the heroine as hero bump into each other. I did enjoy the fact that he overheard she was kinda involved with someone as it was nice to just skip that whole unnecessary drama. The hero has always had a major crush on the heroine and even faked needing science tutoring in high school just to get time to spend with her lol. Given the length there was quite a bit of storyline and the story flowed until the very end, cute sweet holiday romance.
This was a sweet entertaining story that I breezed through in a couple of hours. Kelsey worked for Haskell's Holiday Haven, one of the largest Christmas stores in the world and she was dating the owner's son. However, she was having second thoughts about the relationship when her beloved grandma fell and broke her hip, forcing Kelsey to cancel her vacation to Hawaii with Blake (the boyfriend). While Kelsey returned home to help care for her grandma, Blake went to Hawaii without her! Although Kelsey is angry and hurt by his actions, she does reconnect with Drew, the first boy she ever kissed. She'd been fourteen at the time and it was during a game of spin the bottle. She never forgot it. Now, Drew has grown up and filled out and is downright sexy. Kelsey finds herself attracted to him in a way she never felt with Blake. When she ends up bidding on him at a bachelor auction put on for charity - and winning! - she soon finds herself spending more time with him which causes her to consider making a few changes in her future. Does Drew feel the same way about her? He knows she's going to break up with Blake but does he care enough to want her to stay around?
Enjoyed this one, especially with the Christmas setting. The only problem I had with it was the ending felt a little rushed. Or maybe I liked the characters so well I just didn't want it to end. If you're looking for something quick and Christmas-y, give this a try.
This is the first book I have read in the Bell Harbor series and it was a treat!
Kelsey is the assistant buyer for a Christmas store but she isn't feeling all that joyful. After her grandmother breaks a hip she cancels her Hawaii vacation with her boyfriend/boss except he goes on it without her. Now that she is back home with her family she is thinking of some major changes.
Drew has always had a thing for Kelsey and after hearing about her sorry relationship he has decided to try one last time to get the girl. He knows she is in a relationship that will soon be ending but the more time he spends with her the more he likes her.
I thought this story was short and sweet. I liked the characters so much that after reading this I just bought the first book in the series.
Kelsey was a great heroine and I enjoyed her humor and how she handled wanting to finally change her life to be happy and love Christmas again. Drew was a hot science teacher that seemed shy and unsure of himself but I loved how he didn't rush Kelsey and wanted her to make her own choices.
I am looking forward to starting this series from the beginning and falling in love with Bell Harbor.
What a fun, sweet and romantic read Jingle Bell Harbor turned out to be, loved it.
Loved the characters, both Kelsey and Drew were likable and very relatable. They made me laugh and swoon with their antics and left me with a heart full of happy feels.
Tracy Brogan has written a wonderful, heartfelt story that will touch your heart and leave you with a huge smile on your face, I highly recommend this book.
Thank you Montlake Romance via NetGalley for the advance copy.
I absolutely loved the small town, Christmas feel and love I felt when reading Jingle Bell Harbor.
Kelsey's love life is not so loving and her job has made her lose her Christmas spirit. Coming home to Bell Harbor to care for her grandmother might be just what she needs, even if she doesn't know it. Drew is a dreamy home town boy, thoughtful and oh, so attracted to Kelsey. I really liked these two. I could feel the pull between them, and they felt real. I liked the unexpected, fun way they are brought together in Jingle Bell Harbor and where they go from there. There are complications and some misunderstandings along the way, believable problems and happily no angst! Have they both found what they were looking for when they least expected it? Will Kelsey find the courage to follow her dreams?
I loved all the characters in Jingle Bell Harbor, their uniqueness really brought this novella vividly to life! There is a strong feeling of caring for each other from the main characters and the towns people, despite the quirky way of showing it at times! I felt right at home reading this book.
Well paced and the perfect length for the story being told, Jingle Bell Harbor made me smile and I'd recommend it to any romance reader!
Perfect little Christmas read. It's warm and fuzzy and maybe a little predictable, but who cares? It was fun. I've read all 4 Bell Harbor books and I would rank this one (the only novella) as my second favorite. A note about the series: no need to read the books in order. There are a few common characters, but the books don't overlap enough that you would feel lost if you read them out of order.
This one was so freaking cute! We are back in Bell Harbor so you know all the crazy is let loose but it is a good kind of crazy...and it is Christmas time! Kelsey has come home to take care of her grandma when what she had planned on doing was going on a tropical vacation with her boyfriend. She is tired of all things Christmas since she works for the biggest Christmas store around but she is sick and tired of Christmas. Then she runs into Drew who was working at his grandfather's tree farm and the sparks ignite. Will there be smoke with this chemistry or will it spark out? This one is a keeper and definitely recommend!
Short story with a quick meet, conflict, and end. Wish there was more character development for the male lead as his intro was quite douchy and I was turned off by him immediately. Female lead was already in a relationship with a d-bag so her HEA is with one who isn’t as bad?? Ok.
I am so glad I got the opportunity to go back to the small town of Bell Harbor during the holiday season. Nothing says yuletide cheer then freezing cold temperatures, snow, a Christmas carnival and of course, Santa. Ms. Brogan's feel good romance, Jingle Bell Harbor, is replete with a second chance at love and a couple of off the wall characters that put real delight into bedazzled sweaters and a red monogrammed bra.
Kelsey Parker is back in her hometown of Bell Harbor for the holidays. Her grandmother recently broke her hip and with not much family around to help with her recuperation, Kelsey cancels her holiday in Hawaii to care for her rambunctious grandmother. Kelsey's on again off again boyfriend, who also happens to be her boss, goes to Hawaii without her. Since Kelsey lives Christmas all year long, as an assistant buyer to one of the largest Christmas stores in the world, she is more than a tad scroogey during this time of the year. Luckily, Drew Hampton, the hottest bachelor in town and Kelsey's former classmate, has made his home in Bell Harbor. They spend a little romantic time together and some old feelings begin to resurface. Kelsey's decision to free herself from her boring boyfriend and tiresome job, is all Drew needs to take their friendship to a new level.
I liked this story. To begin with, Kelsey and Drew are a fun couple. Drew's creativity in the science department, (he is a high school science teacher), is what ultimately causes Kelsey's heart to melt and fall in love with him. Sharing a kiss during a game of spin the bottle way back when, is nothing in comparison to the present. Kelsey's grandmother, and her grandmother's best best friend Dody, are hilarious. Fifty Shades is their bible and holiday dressing includes the ugliest sweaters ever.
So pour yourself some eggnog and spend some time in Bell Harbor.

This book is available in Kindle Unlimited WITH audio, so I decided to listen to it. It's fairly short and perfect for a little drink of Christmas. The writing is very good with tons of humor. For that I've given it five stars because I do appreciate good, funny writing in a romance. The couple was also cute and the douchebag of an ex was wonderfully douchey. It would have been nice to have a little bit more actual romance time with the main couple, but for a short it did the job. I'll try this author again.
This was an incredible read! I was definitely surprised by this book and in a great way. Kelsey is an assistant buyer at a Christmas store; however, this year, isn't feeling the joy and spirit of Christmas. When her grandmother suffers a broken hip, she feels the need to cancel her vacation and stay at home. What shocked her was that her boyfriend still went on without her.
Back at home, Drew has always had a crush and had feelings for Kelsey. He hopes to try and give one last attempt to get the girl he likes. He realizes that she is in a relationship, but at this point, he still has to try.
I found this story quite short, but very sweet. I fell in love with Kelsey and Drew was what I always look for in a lead man.
There is always crazy happenings in Bell Harbor but the holiday season seems to have cranked up the crazy! This is a funny, sweet story told as only Tracy Brogan can. Kelsey Parker is back in Bell Harbor looking after her Grandma rather than on a tropical island as planned. To make things worse - her rat of a boyfriend went on the trip without her. The only thing keeping her sane is spending time with Bell Harbor hottie Drew Hampton. He has definitely made her see what she's missing in her current relationship but is she ready to give up everything????
I received an ARC from NetGalley. For those who know me well, they know my secret love during the holiday season is cheesy Christmas movies. This novella was just like a book version of a cozy holiday movie. Light, feel good, and cute with all the charm that the other Bell Harbor novels have. If you like light chick lits, it's worth giving this one a read when the weather turns a little chilly!
I received an early copy of this book from NetGalley for an honest review.
I enjoyed this book through and through! I absolutely love how humorous it is. Every chapter had a part that would have me actually laugh out loud which is rare from books now a days. It was so refreshing!! I also liked how it had dual pov. The only thing wrong with it is that it wasn't long enough. I wish the ending would have been a little more in depth or longer either one. 4/5 stars! Everyone should read!
Jingle Bell Harbor is just the type of story that brings to mind the image of curling up in front of a warm fireplace and cuddling with that special someone. This story takes the most important elements of the holiday season and brings to life an environment full of enchantment. Jingle Bell Harbor is a story about family, forgiveness and appreciation for the blessings of life. I am glad that I had the chance to read it.
I absolutely adore these kind of stories and I can honestly say I'm now officially in the Christmas spirit and Halloween isn't even here yet. Perfect short story this author did a great job. I received this as an arc for an honest review from netgally and the publisher. Reviewing for Night and Day book blog http://ndbbr2014.com Stephanie Powell
Jingle Bell Harbor (Bell Harbor #3.5) By Tracy Brogan
The Holidays are always one of the best times to catch up with friends and family that you haven’t seen in awhile…this holiday I ventured back to Bell Harbor to catch up with some of the best people I’ve ever met.
Kelsey was supposed to be in Hawaii, but Granny had fallen and broken her hip and Kelsey knew she had to go back to Bell Harbor to help out. Was she ticked when her boyfriend/boss went with out her? Yes she was, but as much as she wanted to go on the planned trip I think she knew that something was in the air. She wasn’t happy at work, she wasn’t happy with the boyfriend/boss and she knew that maybe it was time to move on; and if moving on actually meant moving back…then maybe the Grinch’s heart did grow ten sizes and help her find who she is and where she really belongs.
Drew Haskell and come right back to Bell Harbor after university, he taught at the same high school he had gone to, he worked for his granddad’s tree farm when Christmas came around and the day he spotted Kelsey, he vividly remembered the night in a closet when they played spin the bottle!
Bell Harbor has got to be one of the quirkiest places to visit, or maybe it’s their quirky residents that make you feel comfortable and at home while you’re there.
Between the Bachelor Auction, Kelsey’s grandmother and everyone else who we spend time with you really shouldn’t miss Kelsey’s trip back home. As always Tracy Brogan gives you laughs, guffaws and knee slapping humor throughout Drew and Kelsey’s story. If you are looking for a quick enjoyable read Jingle Bell Harbor is exactly where you need to be!
This is a novella so it's short and sweet. Kelsey was supposed to go to Hawaii with her boyfriend but her grandma hurt herself. Instead of staying to support her, her bf decided to go to Hawaii anyway. (Wow...). Anyway, while he was away, she meets an old HS friend, Drew and they strike up a friendship and eventually something more. I liked the progression and their relationship, although I wasn't a fan of how their relationship began before the end of her current relationship. Otherwise, it was a sweet visit to this small town (I haven't read the other books in the series but they are on my TBLs!) Speaking of TBLs, I listened to the audiobook and I enjoyed the narration overall although I felt that Lauren Ezzo, especially, may have overacted just a tiny bit. However, both she and Nick Podehl made the story move quickly and I enjoyed the story and its narration overall.
