Pure Lust Vol. 1: M.S Parker and Cassie Wild - This series is absolutely brilliant! Well written and fast paced, did I mention freaking hot the book is divided in four volumes. Some stories hook you from a few chapters in, maybe not even until close to the end...whatever it is, Pure Lust got me from the second I started reading about it, the description alone had me salivating. LOL!!

Well....
Truth be told, all I remember is that hot photo-shoot with the nakedness and the paint. The way Flynn just commands every fucking thing. If an inanimate object was gonna orgasm because Flynn wants it to?
It's gonna fucking happen!
That moment when I was like... Nah - it aint gonna happen!
BAM
Because that one moment between Flynn and Gabs, when he let her ride out her orgasm, then paused, waiting....waiting...then he just shifted a little to hold her better, pull her closer and then just thrust into her like a mad man.
I swear, I jumped because I fucking felt it!
I read over that scene ALOT and each time had me:
repeatedly.
Now this isn't much of a review, more like a rant...for a particular scene. Because... that's all that's coming to mind. Flynn really. He moved like a poem. A mysterious, captivating poem that just hypnotized you.
Oh he's an asshole, a fucking asshole really, but the hate is warring with my lust. PURE LUST.

This series is going to be what you make of it. The sex scenes are pretty steamy, the characters have all the bells and whistles and the plot played straight to my beating heart so I enjoyed it and ignored the periodic impulses to roll my eyes. Its spicy brain cheetos for romantics. Yummy but there isn't much substance.
Pure Lust Vol 1 is Cinderella meets Legends of the Fall but in NYC. It starts with a hot-girl-who-thinks-she's-plain who meets a hot-sexy guy-who-is-also a-slutty-asshole. Their hostile introduction abruptly morphs into an erotic incident that ends with a even more sudden crash.
Then, hot-girl-who-thinks-she-is-plain-AND-IS-NOW-SAD meets a handsome-mysterious-guy-who-is-rich-kind-thoughtful-and-gracious and he pursues her like a proper hero should. He sweeps her off her feet with romantic dinners, fancy clothes, expensive jewels, a luxurious getaway and...as one would predict...a marriage proposal (yes, after just a couple of weeks knowing one another.)
So, as readers, our journey looks like this: we get curious about one guy, then irritated, then excited, than pissed. Then we get discouraged about all guys. Then, we get curious about another guy, then fascinated, then excited, then thrilled, then blown away!! Woo Hoo!
Some of you might get skeptical... or even cynical... I elected not to.
Then comes the cliff hanger....wait for it... can you guess what it is???
I'm not going to tell you but it did succeed in propelling me to Vol.2 so mission accomplished

This book grabbed me from the get go and I could not put it down until I had it finished. These two Authors, M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild are dynamite when they write together. This is a Cinderella looking for her Prince or the Prince finding his Cinderella as it was Edward who found Gabriella at the party.
"I'd already decided if Edward wasn't up to the task of wooing me, then I would be home and in bed with a steamy romance novel by 10 o'clock. Better a fictional man I could count on than a real one I couldn't."
"The first time I saw this dress, I knew I wanted to see you in it." He reached around and slowly pulled down the zipper. "And then I wanted to take you out of it."
"As we headed back to our room, Flynn and the photo shoot were the furthest things from my mind. Edward was the most caring, considerate, and generous lover I had ever been with and I wanted to spend my time making him feel how much I appreciated him, not thinking about my past mistakes."
This new series is so exciting for me, as it is not just another alpha male dominating his female. This book is funny, the female character Gabs is pithy and she speaks her mind, Edward is strong and endearing in his love and concern for Gabriella. And I guess we will find out more about 'the playboy' Flynn in Pure Lust 2.
This book was gifted by the authors for an honest review.

We all dream of finding out Prince Charming but we have to kiss a few toads to find him, well Gabriella Baine has done that and now she wants the romance and the love but in reality her dreams are just that, working in a job she hates and a boss she hates even more and earning very little to pay her rent. Now on a night out with free drink and booze with her roommate she meets Edward but he is a man of secrets and he has not told Gabriella his surname, he wants her to love him for him and not his name but after a few weeks she meets the family and then she realizes who he is and who his brother is.
can’t wait for the next one to see how this fans out but I guessed something was up with Edward and I still think there is something off with him, guess I’ll need to wait and find out what that is.

In this new series by M.S Parker and Cassie Wild, we are treated to weekly installments of Gabriella’s adventures to find her Prince Charming.
First it seems like she is going to find him in a photographer but I don’t think so, he seems to just be an egotistical jerk. He talks her into doing things that I don’t think she really would’ve done had he not been a conniving ass.
Next we have the perfect gentleman that will not divulge his last name. He seems to be the ONE. The only problem, she has no idea who he is, really!!! No last name, no idea where he works, the only thing she knows is that he is rich as all get out and he has family issues.
She starts dating perfect gentleman and falls hard! I love the way she thinks it is going to fast, but then decides that you cannot put a time on how relationships should work. I think that when you fall you fall, you have no control!
I am totally going to be on the edge of my seat waiting for the next eBook to download to my Kindle every week. I cannot WAIT to find out what happens after she finds out who his brother is….DAMN!!!

M.S. Parker is a creative genius all on her own, add Cassie Wild into the mix and it's even more spellbinding. Pure Lust has you captivated right from the start. You could call Gabriella a Cinderella of sorts, waiting for her prince charming. But when she meets Flynn she is caught up in the moment needing to pay the rent she accepts a dare to pose nude. What she didn't expect was the icy wall put up after things got hot an heavy with Flynn. Feeling down Gabs goes to a party for up and coming models with her bestie. It's there she meets her mystery man Edward. He's gorgeous, sexy, and very into Gabs. But when he won't share his last name she begins to wonder what he's hiding....and then just like that after accepting his proposal she finds out who he truely is. I just can't say enough what an awesome read Pure Lust is!!!

Another amazing job by M.S. Gabriella & Kendra are roommates and struggling until Kendra gets a model job. Going to a job interview Gabriella was hoping to get the job until Flynn sabotages for his on intentions. Meeting again at a party Flynn & Gabriella you could feel the sexual tension and he offers her a job. When going for the job Gabby & Flynn give on to the sexual tension. I really liked the connection between Gabriella & Flynn until he became cold. But meeting Edward was her fantasy coming true. The connection they have and how easy they are together I would read their story all the time. But will secrets destroy her happily ever after? I can't wait to read what happens next because I need to know what will happen next

I have read all of M.S Parkers books and I can honestly say after just 1 installment, this is probably gonna be my favorite of them all!!! Flynn...so sexy,arrogant,and such a jerk, but man is he hot!! And Edward....so sweet, sexy, and head over heels for Gabriella. I love them both. Such a hot, exciting storyline. Oh what will Gabriella do with that ending?!?! Waiting patiently for #2.

This book has me so very conflicted. Whilst I do love Edward because he’s sweet, kind, caring and as close to a non-royal Prince Charming a girl like Gabriella is ever likely to meet… he’s not Flynn. And you can tell that despite the way he treated her, that one encounter has imprinted on her. As much as he was rude and dismissive following their raunchy photoshoot, he sparked something inside of her.
That’s not to say that Edward is lacking. He really isn’t. But whereas as Flynn was exciting, spontaneous and slightly debauched, Edward is charismatic, professional and… safe. Had we met Edward first, I’d be head over heels for his sweetness… but isn’t there a part of us all that secretly craves the bad boy?
Now, the plot twist… I’d like to say I didn’t see that one coming, but I’m sure like quite a few others… I did. There were enough hints and coincidences that made me think, “uh-oh”. So the big reveal at the end wasn’t totally unexpected. Oh, Gabriella I bet your heart is in your stomach right now. Bless her.
So… why only 4 stars? Actually it’s a 3.5. Whilst I’m liking the characters I’m finding it hard to be totally invested in Edward and Gabriella. I’ve actually debated whether to continue with the series because a small part of me hasn’t fully invested in them. Maybe I just need to keep reading. I also worry at how easy it is for Gabriella to lie. Admittedly, she eventually tells the truth through her guilty conscience, but I foresee that her deceptions might just come back to bite her.
I’m not a quitter by nature so I’m going to continue to see where this goes. I just hope I’m not going to be bitterly disappointed.

What an action packed read. This book had me reading till I ran out of pages and then I was sad. It's spread over 4 volumns and need to be read in order. I don't like my books split up like this because it seems like you have to wait so long for the next one to come out. I was so happy that I had all four of them ready and waiting for me to devour in one sitting. My rating is for all four volumns.

Gabriella Baine was working on getting her dream job as a screen writer, she just had to pay her dues in the industry first. The problem was that job didn’t pay the rent. After a chance meeting with famous fashion photographer Flynn McCreary, Gabby’s life takes a turn she never expected. Will this be the break Gabby needs or will it only complicate her life even more?

Gabriella (Gabby) was working her way through an industry that was unkind to new comers but she truly believed if she paid her dues she’d be able to get the chance to become the screen writer she always wanted to be. Gabby was a strong and fiercely independent woman who loved her country roots but wanted more for herself. She knows what her mother gave up for them and as much as she admire her mother Gabby wanted just a bit more than the life her parents had. Luck would have it Gabby met famous fashion photographer Flynn McCreary who gave Gabby her first modeling job. Yes it was just her hands doing the modeling but it couldn’t hurt right? Besides she needed the money.
This is the first book in the Pure Lust series and boy was it hot! When Gabby first meet Flynn it’s an insistent love/hate relationship. She knew he would be a thorn in her side when she saw him but little did Gabby know just what Flynn was capable of. Just when Gabby’s life couldn’t get more complicated she meet her knight in shining armor Edward. Both men are strong Alpha male but show it in two very different ways. Edwards is a CEO, use to being in charge and having things a certain way. Where Flynn it more of the tortured Artist and takes life as it comes. Both men are equally intense and very hot. The chemistry between Gabby and Flynn and Gabby and Edward may be different but both explode when they come together. I found myself having a hard time choosing which guy I would choose for Gabby.
This the second series for M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild to collaborate on and it’s just as amazing as their first. I love how the characters draw you in but keep you from choosing which one you like more and of course the ending of this book comes with a cliff hanger that leaves you wondering what’s going to happen next. They are both great writers and I can’t wait to see what is in store for Gabby in the next book!

EVERY singly one gets 4.5 stars!!!!!
Volume 1 introduces us to the main characters: Gabriella, Flynn, Kendra & Edward
Gabriella Baine is tying to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. But to make ends meet she lets her roommate set her up with an interview with Bouvier , a international high-end fashion house. Well to say her interview went well would be an exaggeration. He interview was rudely interrupted by Flynn McCreary.
She & Kendra are in a bind an need money fast. Their landlord is jacking up the price of the rent and between her not getting the Bouvier job & Kendra still an up and coming model. Money is tight.
To let off some steam, Kendra convinced Gabriella to go with her. Why not, what could go wrong?
"Gabs" runs into Flynn when she gets there and hail hath not fury like a woman scorned, in this case, no job. She gets in Flynn' s face to ask why he has a problem with her. His answer: "You're not right for talent acquisition." WTH? He has a better job offer for her but she needs to come to his studio the next day. He.Has.Some.Nerve.
But against better judgment she shows up and gets introduced into the world of photography. She could do this, she could hand model. After finishing, Gabriella opens a portfolio and is shocked to what she finds. Nudes photos, but beautiful photos. And when she finds out how much the photo shoots can bring in versus hand modeling….Well lets just say, things get interesting. These sexy, hot photos lead to Flynn convincing Gabriella "Tennessee" to allow body paint to be used. Talk about one hot steamy scene…Phew. But Flynn being a known womanizer ruined the after glow by telling her where the shower was and to make it fast. Gabriella took her money and left. JERK!
Gabriella finally confesses to Kendra what happens. Kendra feels bad for making her go to see Flynn, wants to take Gabriella out to a Bouvier party. It will at least have free food & drinks. Why the hell not.
Enters "Edward" into the story. No ;art name, just Edward. They start a world wind romance against the concerns of Kendra. And when Gabriella agrees to marry Edward, still no last name. They decide it's time for Gabriella to "meet the family" Seems simple enough……Wrongo. Gabriella finds out more than she bargained for at brunch…..

WOW!! This series is fantastic. But then it is Parker & Wild….you sorta expect it.
We follow the love life of Gabriella Baine and her quest to find her Prince Charming. Upon meeting the man who sets her body on fire and being dismissed once he got what he wanted Gabriella decides no more. If her man can’t romance her she’s not giving up the goods. So along comes….
Edward “Charming” ??? The questions marks indicate that she doesn’t know his last name. It’s quite some time before she finds out too. Once she does she doubts she can be part of his world. For one thing she likes to shop simple and eat pizza and….well…..she’s normal. Edward is from another place where there are five forks for every meal and country clubs and fancy parties. She feels inadequate but Edward loves her just the way she is. He’s understanding and gets really good at putting her fears at ease.
There are secrets and lies, lust and romance, happiness and sadness. Brats and Assholes. But under everything there is one young girls quest to find herself in love and work and friendships. To be complete and happy. Will Gabriella find this in Edward? Or with someone else?
I loved this series!!! It’s such an easy read because you can’t put it down. At any given time you are in their bedroom and it’s HOT! Or with their family and it’s HEATED! Or they are alone with each other and they are HAPPY. This is definitely a great read and since they are all out you won’t have to wait for the next one!!

*All Spoilers, look away now or have yourself to blame*
I wanted to like this series because book 1 was perfect, particularly Gabby's meeting/dates with Edward; however, the plot and scenes felt forced which I guess is a risk the author took by narrating in the first person.
Gabby was a few broomsticks short of a bushel and not the best narrator, cos clearly, she assumed everything was about her. I found her extremely offensive. And insecure. And uncaring. And undeserving. I have a few more adjectives but, you get the idea. Just one more. Hateful.
I suppose she felt underserving of a caring man and rather preferred the petulant Flynn, who did nothing but debase and abuse her obvious attraction to him. She never once tried to empathise with her fiance, Edward. This man goes to work and comes home to this shrew who has nothing better to say than a litany of how everyone and their father hated her.
Well boo hoo, drama llama, baby Gabby...... By gosh, I wanted to smack her. Did I mention I hate her? Yes, extremely.
So, that Kendra huh? Woo hoo, what a friend indeed.. yep yep. Surely, the world needs more of them bitc@%. I detested Kendra (Gabby's "friend", yet slept with Edward). What a Rattlesnake, an underhanded venom-injector... You feel me? Oh yessir.
O for the love of all that is holy, fried and baked, I tell you, these people made me mad...real mad... Michael Jackson "Thriller" mad.....
I have to stop now and check my blood pressure or perhaps have a shot or 2 of tequila, else, I may just implode and nobody likes an imploder. No sirree.

WOW WOW, this book was amazing, could not put it down, and the best part of the book was the roommates name lol.
The story in this book was very well written and well developed and the plot is very fast paced and the last page will leave you will your jaw on the ground, as I for sure did not see it coming. The characters in this book are very well written and easy to fall in love with, which makes it easy to root for them.
In this book we meet Gabriella, who like the rest of us is struggling to make ends meet, paying the rent/bills and buying food. While she is on a job interview she meets Flynn a photographer who convinces her to do a hand modeling shoot, which leads to a session of nude photos and a super hot romp in the sack and a fee paid for those nude shots. When Gabriella sleeps with Flynn she thinks its because there were sparks between them, but when she finds out from her model roommate, Kendra, that Flynn has left town, she feels like she will never find love. In steps Edward, who seems to be her prince charming, wining and dining her, giving her what every girl wants. The only weird thing is that he will not her his last name, and when Gabriella finds out who is family is, and things start to click into place, I can only imagine what is going through Gabriella's head at the time.
