A Curse of Bonded Blades by Charlene Fay was a GREAT read.
Tripp is almost suspiciously true to life. The mixed signals, personality changes, and refusal to acknowledge his own feelings had me thinking, “Yep. I’ve met this man.” 😂 It makes it ridiculously easy to put yourself into the story.
Crimson, meanwhile, is everything. She has an elite-level “I don’t care” attitude and translates things exactly as they’re said, no matter who she’s talking to. No sugarcoating. No diplomacy. Just vibes and brutal accuracy.
The banter and tension kept me hooked, and the twist near the end? I genuinely DID NOT see it coming.
That’s all I’m saying because I hate spoilers and refuse to become what I despise. 😂
Definitely worth the read, and I cannot wait to find out what happens with Tripp and Crimson next!

I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest review.
It takes a little bit to pick up, but once you're a few chapters in the pacing is great. I was able to get invested in FMC almost immediately. There's a plot twist that makes me excited to read the next book when it comes out.

I love a good fantasy book , so i was really drawn to it.
Well i had to neet tissues at the end because i feel so much for the female MC.
I flip back and forth for the map to continue the story.. you feel there are secrets that aren’t revealed yet in this book. I was a little confused in the beginning of the book when she found a sword because its not the sword of the title. And also what does the words saying on it! I tought also that she had to be fae.. and the plotwist omg.. that i hadn’t see it coming in te book. You think that Tripp is maybe evil but that?
Now my heart is crushed because i want a happy ending.. i hope there gonna be book2. Because i think this gonna haunt my taughts so much.. i have such many questions.
Thank you for let me reading the arc version, i have enjoyed this book so much!!!
