Abducting the Alien: A Spicy First Time Alien Romance

Fun-loving August is just trying to get some air when he finds a guy in an alien costume alone, half-naked, and shivering in the forest. The second they lock eyes, August wants him, and before he knows it, he’s sneaking the stranger into his home.

Clay knows August is his mate. That’s not a bad thing, since August seems more than willing to explore their mutual attraction. There’s just one complication. Okay, two: August doesn’t know soul bonds exist, and Clay is a kissless virgin who’s spent his whole life saving his strongest bond for the person he was destined for.

Their attraction is immediate, and one very steamy night later, Clay is more sure than ever that August is his future. But Clay’s career on his home planet is only just beginning, and he can’t stay on Earth forever.

Convincing August to leave his entire life behind is harder than surviving a crash landing. But Clay crossed the galaxy to find his mate, and he’s not going home without him.

This was a short and spicy read with a cute alien and a himbo human. Clay the alien crashes on earth to find his mate who happens to be a buff human named August. They are instantly attracted to each other and Clay wastes no time telling August he wants to mate. Much spice ensues, which was hot and well written. Basically, they bang while Clay waits for his space über to take him back home to his planet. But since they have been together for a few days and have already mated, they have formed a bond and despite trying to deny it August decides he can’t live without clay. So he does decide to go with him back to his planet to get space married. I liked the characters and their dynamic but because this book is so short, there’s not a whole lot of character development so I guess my only complaint is it was way too short because I would love to have read a longer version of their story. I could definitely have seen this being a full length book and there being a omegaverse aspect to this. But for it being a short Novella, I did like it OK and it was cute and spicy. So if any of this interests you, I do think it’s worth a read.

Abducting the Alien is a super cute and super spicy short story about Clay, an adorable alien twink who crash lands in the yard of his mate, a very chill and easygoing human named August.

This was such a fun read, and honestly the perfect kind of story to get in the mood for Halloween! Like this author's other work, it has a lot of heart and feelings but also some very creative and hot spice, and a very generous dose of romcom vibes as well.

Highly recommend grabbing this one if you like virgin mcs, fated mates, alien sex, size difference, fish out of water type scenarios, etc

Alien meets earthling fated mate. Very fun Halloween read and entertaining to find how many exogenous zones one alien can have. Fun filled erotic action from beginning to end.

Very cute, very quick read! It's hard to do a full review just because of length of story, but I hope Val writes more full length in this world because I'm so so here for it.

3.5 rounded up!

Fun and spicy! I didn't expect it to have angst, but that little bit at the end was cute. I did miss a bit more background on August; where are his parents? Who would miss him? How did he have Jason's number memorized? Why didn't Clay know Earth would freak out at seeing an Alien after studying it? Why would an alien be named Clay?!

I liked the spicy times and how they felt their bond deeply. It was a fast read to prep for Halloween!
