NINE BOOKS TOTAL!
Since the first day she could remember, Kelly had been picked on by identical twins, Alex and Asher. They followed her through every school year, tormenting her as much as they could until they were re-zoned for different high schools. Kelly was ecstatic that she would no longer see them at school and looked forward to a happy last four years.
During the summer, Kelly's mom tells her that she is dating a new man and they're taking a family vacation. As it turned out, the man her mother was dating was the father of the evil twins.
When their parents married her mother, the twins picked on her more, constantly teasing their new stepsister.
Three days after her eighteenth birthday, and on Homecoming night, an event happens that changes everything between them and Kelly learns that there's more to the twins than meets the eye.
I have read a few stepbrother books and this one is not a favorite. Alex and Asher bully Kelly for years and they tell her it was because they liked her. When they was kids maybe, but as teenagers really.
One of the he better bring oaks I've read in this genre...
One of the better books I've read in this genre..... Not Great but not bad either, just wish the story to sex ratio was balanced.... Sure more sex and more sexual attention is definitely one of the pluses for a very lucky/blessed woman in this situation... But that doesn't mean you can't have a good story too... Not bad ,but if you took out all the sex over 1/2 the "story" would be gone.... I really liked Alex and Asher but it seems that I f they were 1/2 as smart as they seemed to become they could found a MUCH BETTER way to show her they cared even at 17 than the stunts they were pulling.... Also why at just 18 and starting to have sex w/each other after only a weekend together were they already moving to sex toys and swings etc. ? Kinda fast for starting a sexual relationship w/a girl who was a virgin til the week before and why had the twins already been w/sooooo many other girls if they wanted her since kindergarten? Typical I know, but kinda shitty for them to not let a guy come near her while they were out whoring around.... Also why did they bother with the whole "Wedding" if they never cared about it being legal ? Their not her husbands and she's not their wife w/out " that little piece of paper" ? Why spend all that money and time if it want gonna be legal ? Sure ,while can now marry the same gender you still can't married more than one person, but she could married one of the legally and had this kinda commitment ceremony w/the other one,the at least shed legally be one of themselves wife instead of all the rigmarole and expense to "play house" and the for the rest of ppl who didn't matter didn't need to know which twin she's married to...but w/out a legal marriage their no legal rights... Like insurance, or if one were to get sick or injured and their fake "marriage" won't do anything for the child/children their planning ring into the world.... Not a bad story but also a but of a mess,I ONLY recommend as a KU read....
While I enjoyed the story line, the only thing I didn't like was the jumping in the story. I would have loved to see these in full length novels going into more detail. But in saying that I really enjoyed the plot line, Asher and Alex are hot twins who are in love with the same girl, who just happens to be their new step sister. I love Oliver Hawthorne and will continue to read her work.....
I love Kelly, Asher, and Alex. The twins being the boys they are showed their love through unkindly acts making Kelly's school life miserable. Just when she though she'd be able to escape them, her mom marries their dad and their forced to live under the same roof. The twins are her enemies until one night the twins reveal their secret feelings for Kelly. Things get steamy and from then on Kelly's life is never the same! I love how you get to witness their story from childhood to adulthood.
I want to congratulate this author for bringing such a complex and tantalizing tale into our lives. Her imagination for writing its unique. As of to the series it's worth the time u spend reading it. It's fun, sexy and interesting. Worth the money
