To be 100% honest, I just found this tedious. The dialogue was a bit stilted, and the scenes didn't feel authentic to me. There were times I felt like the characters were contradictory--he was supposed to be this big, bad Dom, heavy into the scene, but his constant commands of "Be still" went largely unheeded (and he didn't seem to care). There were scenes that didn't make sense too. They were at her house one second but the very next, they're at his??? If I accept that they switched locations, that means they left her house with her buck naked. Either way, it needs resolved. In another scene, she has ink and blood on her back, takes a bath, and is then flogged. She asks if there's blood and is told no, but then he's cleaning blood and ink off her back afterwards? Is she that horrible at cleansing herself that she just left all that shit on her body while bathing earlier? Add to that the constant explanations why he's such a good Dom or what makes a good sub, and I just lost interest.
