This is a really fun, imaginative book about a little monster who is talking to his father about exploring space. He is very concerned that he will miss his parents, but his father is very encouraging for him to follow his dreams. The little monster goes through many different scenarios while talking about visiting all of the planets and he realizes at the end that he will always come back to home after he is done. The illustrations in this are fantastic. Each page is teeming with bright, interesting pictures that almost jump out at you. I would recommend this for children pre-k through kindergarten.

This is a sweet tale about a little monster who has ambitions to explore outer space. He worries that he will have to leave his mom and dad behind. The story is entertaining and would be perfect to read at bedtime. And the illustrations are colorful and fun. We enjoyed reading this story together.

I like the idea of this book, and how the little one was has big dreams, but doesn't want to leave his parents behind. This reminds me of when i was young and would tell my mother that i would never get married and leave her! I can see this being a very relatable book to young children.
