This book gives me everything I need
It has been a long time since I've read something that made me pay attention. I'm so used to mindlessly reading/skimming stories but Danae has a beautiful way of writing and her word usage is amazing.

A little hard to follow in the beginning, had to keep reading a couple paragraphs over and over and then it all made sense. Fantastic story telling and the painted picture before you places you in the moment. I won't spoil the story but the characters are well defined and the main character smells like she will be quite the hellion in the progression of the series. Thank God her vampires don't sparkle. I am looking forward to the next in the series. Great read.
