I enjoyed this, it was pretty fast paced, and you got the love story of most of the friends. I did think this was a 3 book series but after reading this im sure their is another. their was no conclusion with the Acendent, and Tobias still doesn't have his HEA so I look forward to the next.

So.... I didn't know how I would feel about this one. It's structured like 3 Novellas, but one big story line. And I was sad when I realized that this book didn't have a whole lot of Zephira and Draven...
BUT...
To my surprise, I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. I didn't realize how much I needed to get to know all the side characters from the first two books.
Part one follows Ellie and Blaze, Part two follows Leviathis and Tokada, and Part three follows Nyx and Kova.
It was so refreshing to get their stories entwined with the plot that follows this series as a whole as well as being introduced to new characters and kingdoms.
This was absolutely action packed.
My only complaint was that everyone "Swallowed Hard." so many times in this book, and That could be just a "me" problem because that phrasing gives me the ick, buuuuut it is also used in literally every romantasy I read. lol
But regardless. This series is such a fun one to read and I believe that there is one more book coming out for this and I AM SO READY.
So happy to have these books on my shelf and these characters in my heart.
