Nine Patch Murder: A Lost Arts Cozy Mystery

by Clara Brook

Aunt Margo had set this quilt retreat up. So, blame her for this death – not Jennifer.

Everything was going well.
The antique album quilt had been carried down in its cedar trunk for the state’s documenter.
Fifty-two quilters were attending the retreat at the Grange Hall.
Marlee Frost was teaching her Nine Winters pattern

Then it all fell apart.
The documenter announces that one of the squares on the album quilt is not old.
She turns up dead.
Misha is fixated on one of the group’s bags and won’t get off it.

Sheriff Cole is investigating
The fifty-two attendees.
The maintenance man who let someone in back in April.
The newest young guild member.

He’s having trouble because he can’t find a motive.
The quilt is initially thought to be worth thousands. False.
No real insurance either.
There are no real heirs. It’s owned by the town.

Can Jennifer find the killer or will Misha be able to communicate who he knows is hiding the evidence?
