The Paternity Test
Cassie Wainright had gone from riches to rags in one shocking moment. Now, with her mother ailing and creditors at the door, she had only one man to turn to: Nicholas Kincaid, a powerful and alluring businessman who could control anything—except his four-year-old twins.

Nick's new nanny loved her little charges; the only problem was, she was starting to fall for Nick, too! Despite her efforts to remain professional, he quickly charmed his way into her arms...and her bed. And now Cassie was faced with a real dilemma. What would the boss do when he discovered there was another Kincaid heir on the way?

I read this back in my teens and when I saw it again as I was organising my old books,I couldn't help but want to read it again through my "grown ass woman" eyes.

Well, now we know where my obsession with the single dad trope started! (Though I'm not sure if I should be concerned that I was drawn to this kind of story even back then... therapy, anyone? 😂)

Regardless,It was nice to experience a story I once loved, even if my perspective has changed. So much of the plot now feels problematic as it clashes with modern sensibilities and features elements that are rightly considered criminal today.

One things for sure...The adult in me has definitely outgrown this. Thanks for making my teen years awesome though🥹
