Maple House is full of secrets, and I found myself constantly trying to figure everything out. What does Peter really do? What was Billie's life like before all of this, and the mystery only deepens with every chapter.
This captivating series blends mystery, determination, and emotional depth beautifully. With a suspicious grandson, hidden secrets, and Nessa's dedication to helping a delightful older woman, the story kept me turning pages. The characters felt genuine, and the unfolding mystery had me hooked throughout.

In book 2, a bored Nessa decided a to help out and complete some chores. Will a find in the attic prove damaging to her job. Billie doesn’t seem to have much for her to do, and Peter is always suspicious of her? What secrets is the family hiding? Why is Peter so surprised and abrupt? How surprising he works with special needs autistic children.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.

Well, that didn't work out well for Nessa. What was she thinking??? Peter has his suspicions of Nessa and Amy, but wow,he is truly something. Billie makes me smile. She is so good to Nesse but I keep thinking it's because she is hiding something that ties to Nessa grandma Darla. This gets better by the book😊
