What a fantastic start to a series! Nessa is a feisty, spirited heroine who refuses to back down, and she quickly became one of my favorite characters. The story is addictive from the very beginning, blending friendship, loyalty, and emotional depth into a compelling read. I was completely invested in these characters and cannot wait to see what happens next in Book 2.

The story behind Billie and Peter is getting interesting. Is Nessa trusting the wrong people or is there a reason behind the Powers family. Now I am curious to read the real story behind Billie, Peter,and the Powers family. The plot has thickened and I am curious to learn what will happen next and will Nessa finally be happy.

Book 5 brings more questions. Billie has a fall on the night. Nessa has lots of questions. Why was she hired and is she qualified for the job? Why is Billie so upset about her sisters’ letters? Is Peter keeping secrets?
