Mack is, in theory, safely tucked away at the mages' academy. All seems calm amongst the Brethren. Taking advantage of the relative peace, Corrigan returns to his work on various initiatives for modernising the shifter world. Unfortunately when that work includes breaking into the Tower of London to steal back an ancient shapeshifter seal, he may be biting off more than he can chew. And that's nothing compared to what happens when Mack engages in a little thievery of her own...
Corrigan Rage is the third book in the Corrigan series, re-telling the events of Blood Destiny in the Lord Alpha's words.
I really enjoyed this one. There was stuff I didn't know so that's always a plus.
For those that haven't realised, this series is Corrigan's POV from the Blood Destiny series. So we get to find out what Corrigan is thinking and what he gets up to when Mack isn't around. And as she is away at the Mage Academy for much of this book, he gets up to some amazing stuff around the Tower of London.
Love these little snippets into Lord Corrigan's mind cause it rounds out Blood Destiny nicely.
Corrigan ends up finding Mack finally. But things aren't that great. She's trying to help out the mages, and Corrigan doesn't want her there. But it may not be his choice, Mack must do what she has to do. And Corrigan is going to help the birds in the Tower before something bad happens to them. However, he may be too late. This time he must help Mack and the mages, but he ends up finding out more about her than he ever thought possible.
I enjoyed getting to see more of Corrigan's feelings in this one. And more interaction between Corrigan and Mack. But I also enjoyed getting to see how Corrgian is handling his job as Lord Alpha, and how life in with the pack is going. It was also interesting to see him set out on his own to help people out.

Corrigan Rage is so, so much better than the counterpart, Bloodrage, it is unbelievable. Probably because with so little Mack in the story, there isn't as much inexcusable rage attacks. This is only half its own story, and half the story of the Bloodrage book. The reason it is half and half is because while Corrigan does his own thing, it is all centered on Mack. I have no idea why Corrigan is so interested in whatever Mack is doing other than it is because he is enchanted by Mack, but that is less of an issue that I care to make it.
I have to say, I'm glad we're finally getting some reason why these two people like each other. It only took 8 books to do it! It still
Yes! We have another winner! It's been a wonderful journey alongside Corrigan and Mack from his perspective. To get the most from this series, one really must read the entire series with Mack as the leader. For example, one of the books is called, "Blood Politics."
Once you get a taste of the first series, you won't be satisfied until you buy it in it's entirety and delve into the next series with Corrigan as the leader.
Helen Harper has surely created a world that I wish was true for the simple fact that our lives would never be boring.
Well this one was much better than the first two. Corrigan actually went off on his own adventure and accomplished things. Saving birds, kicking butt, taking names, getting foreshadowed advice from Fae.
Corrigan’s trying to clear his desk while keeping his mind off his prickly relationship and finally gets a team to make headway on The Way. Deciding that would give him a treat, Corrigan appears to Mack when she’s in a vulnerable spot and they both over react leading to Mack offering him an apology and Corrigan offering a date.
Meanwhile, the vampires are in a collectible mood endangering not only the major factions of shifter, mage and vampire but the city of London itself as a wraith is on the loose wreaking havoc and taking lives. But then Corrigan learns what he’s been trying to find out since the beginning and Mack sets out on her own way. Rating: 4stars
"Corrigan Rage" is the third book in Helen Harper's "Corrigan" series. Corrigan has moved forward with his plan to modernize the Brethren by creating a committee to update The Way. When he takes a trip to the Brethren's library he notices that the most important documents in their collection are stamped with the official seal. Located in the Tower of London, Corrigan befriends a raven to help him out. Overall, I enjoyed reading this story. I like how it has an original plot line that meshes nicely with the plotline of the Blood Destiny series.
I am, as expected, reading this series after finishing the Blood Destiny Series, of which this is a companion. I'm enjoying the Corrigan series, but I find myself wishing the two series had been written as one series, doing away with the amount of rehashing needed to write a story twice.
Okay, the Bloodfire series was so good, I couldn't resist this alternate perspective series for the same story. And it's fantastic! You get a unique story that intertwines with the bloodfire series, and you get all the fantastic perspective you could want from Corrigan. It's a light-hearted and exciting read.
I like the Corrigan series soooooo much more than the original series however after the events of this book I don't think I will continue with the series. The first 2 books have lead to this moment we KNOW what is going to happen if anyone finds out the truth. Over and over it is drilled into our brains by someone of every species (floyd the mage, sol the fairy, tom the Shifter) and yet when it happens. Nothing. She walks away like its no bid deal. Well... that was a let down. Also just another side note. She cried and bawled for the new friends she had made with the mages but barely let herself cry over her alpha. I don't even remember his name because after the 1st book he's barely mentioned. Her mentor/father figure doesn't even get a second thought though she does try to get in contact with her old pack... Ugh idk I might return to this series one day...

These books may actually be better than the Mackenzie ones. I wish they were duel POV vs separate books. It's kind of weird to read from the other view all the way back at the beginning.
This is the 3rd volume of Corrigan's POV of the Blood Destiny series. I have read Bloodrage (the counterpart describing Mack's POV) first. This volume provides more background on what is going on whenever Mack is not directly involved and it enlightens how Corrigan feels about her. The book is as fascinating as the others and makes you go through the emotions. I can't wait to start the next volume!
I adore Corrigan. I don't love Mack and wish he'd move on and find a girl who'd appreciate him, but it's not going to happen. That said, I enjoyed this book. Glad that Mack's true identity is now out and interested to see how the rest of the series progresses. I am reading the Corrigan series before the Blood Destiny series, so I'm a little backwards. I started Corrigan first, not knowing the connection. I found out after the first book and started trying to jump between the 2 series, reading the different POV back-to-back. However, I found that I much prefer Corrigan as a character (although I did enjoy Blood Magic very much), so I decided to read the Corrigan books straight through. I'll eventually read Mack's series.
7/10:Good solid read, something to get your teeth into.
This was better than its Blood counterpart. I'm loving seeing things from Corrigan's POV. Fingers crossed Mack will wake up to the inevitable soon and stop fighting. Well, stop fighting so hard anyway.
I love this series, you totally fee the characters are real and you get into the chaos of their lives and feel as you are really there witnessing the events. The author is fabulous width her descriptions and making the story come alive.
