A decent book to get your crafting juices going. Most projects look very amateurish, others seem well crafted. Directions are very abbreviated, so if you need that detailed how-to, it's not here.

This book has some good crafts but you will need to buy most of the materials. They mostly seem quite expensive and sometimes hard to get.

Just okay. Photography was great and has some neat ideas, but needs more detailed instructions. Materials for projects are also often things I would have to buy specifically for the project and not necessarily have on hand. Good for the experienced crafter looking for new ideas.

Supercraft by Sophie Pester and Catharina Bruns is a book filled with plenty of easy craft ideas that could be easily completed over a weekend. Some crafts could probably done in a couple hours, if desired.

Some of their craft ideas are pretty basic and some a bit more complicated making this perfect for both novice and experienced crafters alike. I liked how the authors include sections telling about how long it should take to complete the project and what items you'll need to make the craft.

Some of the projects you'll find in their book include:
Porcelain Printing (a mug has a print applied)
Travel Wallet Bead Bracelets
Fluttering Butterflies
Easter Candles (wax candles created using eggshells)
Esparilles (You'll find a template in the book to make the shoes)
Advent Calendar
Makeup Bag

Overall, Supercraft is a book for the crafter looking for some quick projects to complete.

I was absolutely thrilled as I flipped through the 52 projects laid out in this book. There were so many projects I wanted to start all at once. There are projects ranging from easy to hard, quick to weekend worthy, etc. My favorite thing about "Supercraft" is the vast difference between the projects, there are projects to fit every personality. The Crafts range from fiber arts, to paper crafts, sewing with fabrics, jewelry making, painting, embroidery, crotchet, and much much more!! In my opinion anyone, even those who aren't necessarily 'crafty' will find something they love in this book. I highly recommend this to beginner crafters all the way to advanced crafters. Happy Crafting!

I found this book to be disappointing. The supplies suggested for making the crafts are out of my price range and several of them weren't very creative in my opinion. There were maybe two in the book that I would think about creating, but nothing that jumped out to me as something I would really enjoy making.

I like how this book not only gives ideas but teaches different methods of crafting giving you the option of doing your own thing with a skill you haven't yet learned. It gives you freedom to go wild with your imagination.

Nothing too inspiring, only gained a a couple of ideas. The crafts are almost too simplistic. There are some ideas that could have been developed and built upon to be quite interesting.
