The GSF is a covert spy agency that has a presence all over the world. They operate beyond the scope of governments, corporations and politics. They’re the good guys who make sure the bad guys don’t blow anything up. Agent Sarah Hill is the best field agent the GSF has ever seen, and while she may have a few reprimands *cough* 43 *cough* there isn’t anyone her boss, Mack Farr, trusts more to get the job done. So when one of Mack’s oldest friends is murdered, she’s sent to investigate which leads her down the rabbit hole of terrorism on a global scale. James Hunt, author of the “Exiled” series and the “Broken Lines” series that collectively accumulated over 280 5-star reviews brings you the next book you won’t be able to put down.

James Hunt's passion for writing began at an early age. While his journal of yesteryear may never be the work of great fiction, he's been working hard every day since then to bring pages to life. James has well over a decade of writing under his belt, but his professional career in literature didn't take off until 2014.
James currently lives in Orlando, FL and when he's not pounding away at the keyboard you can find him at the theater or somewhere outside enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.
Not really sure what I thought of this book, the characters seem a little off and the story line seems crazed in places, but I will give the next book a go and see.
For one thing, Sarah Hill is NOT humble. She will tell you to your face that she is the BEST (#1) agent at the GSF (super secret spy agency). The only thing is, when you are really good, you don't need to tell people you are GOOD, your actions will tell the story.
Not a lot of secret spy style in this book. Everything comes real easy to Sarah. She zips around the world with no jet lag. This was a short read. I am still uncertain that despite the cliff-hanger ending if I want to continue on with this series. No real meat.....I did not mind the humor, but at times it did seem to be too much. At least there was no sex involved....with Sarah that would been too much (I'm the best...........).
Sarah Hill is GSF agent, she is Super Woman. Power is off all over the world, Global Power hacked the power grid, mayhem all over, and her brother and his family are hostage.
Once again, this prolific author has created a strong female lead in the first of a new series. Agent Hill embodies the "Kick-Ass" combination of skills and fearlessness that have propelled her to be the lead agent of an alphabet agency that exists outside the normal clandestine operations . She takes no prisoners unless the mission parameters requires her to do so. I am anxiously awaiting the next in this exciting new series from a favorite author.
Enjoyed the heroine! She actually made sense of life on the job. I don't give spoilers, so no help from me on how the story goes. If you love action read this book and like me you will be hook on how everything plays out. Enjoy!
It made a change having a female lead, playing the totally unrealistic super-human special agent, Sarah Hill. The novelty soon wears off however. She's no different from the male of the species. She gets shot, knifed, kicked, punched, and injured in a car crash, a motor-cycle accident and she crashes through the windscreen of a truck. Despite all of these incidents, she emerges pretty much intact. At least, I think she did all of the above; I lost interest. The kitchen-sink was in there somewhere, but Sarah shouldn't be expected to know what that was. We are expected to believe that IF she had been stood at said sink, a tremor on a floorboard fifty feet away would enable her to whip a knife from the suds, dry it, and throw it blind over her shoulder for it to land unerringly in a bad guy's throat. Please! Yet again I'm forced to admit that there are many readers out there for whom this will be manna from heaven. There is a second part to this story; I shall pass, one part was quite sufficient for me thank you.
I enjoyed the read and have read other books by James Hunt. He knows how to move the story along. I would have truly loved this book if Agent Hill didn't perform comic book antics when not needed. She's fun, a kick in the butt and sassy if not sexy. She doesn't slow down enough to get emotional, and at times you wish it was just a bit more serious without the comical dumbness. I got involved in the story, enjoyed the characters and found it fun to read, so not all is lost and should't stop anyone from grabbing a copy to enjoy. This is a personal choice because I liked the abilities given the main character. Without the cornball this is a 5 star read. I gave it four stars only for the above reasons. The story, plot and all the fun is exciting to read. She's amazing and I for one love a good female tough gal with a sense of humor.
This is not normally a story line that I would be interested in but the book was free so I gave it a chance. I'm really glad that I did because I just loved Sarah. She was smart, sarcastic and just made me laugh. The story itself was a little unrealistic - does Sarah ever get jetlagged with all her traveling??? Then again, we don't really get a sense of time with this story so there could be days in between her trips for all we know. I actually liked all of the characters and I'll definitely continue on with the series.
This is the prologue to author Hunt's first book of Agent Hill in what I hope is a long series. She's tough, hides her emotions behind sarcastic remarks, and can give it as well as she can take it. Although the protagonist is female, don't mistake this story for chick-lit, it's all testosterone, action-packed excitement with a dash of international espionage and intrigue thrown in for those of you that feel it's necessary in a book based on secret agents and such. Agent Hill is Agent Bourne's female counterpart. Enough said. Gotta love it!
'Agent Hill: Off the Grid' was an great read. The premise was incredibly thrilling and kept me glued to the pages. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of editing. The storyline itself was great. I loved the characters. Sarah is a total bad-ass. Sure, she's unwilling to follow protocol, has a hard time following orders and leaves a huge destructive path behind her, but her sarcastic and witty comebacks were hilarious. I look forward to reading more. A great add to your tbr list.
I love a good spy novel, and subtle humor. This book has both in abundance. Toss in some relevant pop culture references, and you have a great mix. Reminds me of what Deadpool might be like if he had a relevant job. Need to find the loose change to buy the next one.
Well-written, lots of action, fast-paced; Agent Hill was practically a superhero. On the negative side, it wasn't very believable. (I know, it's fiction, but I still need to be able to buy into what's going on.) I rated it 4.3 stars.
When agent Sarah Hill wants you, you may as well give up because she's one determined woman. Will that be enough for her to catch Demps and save humanity from Tuck greed? A very good fast read you won't want to put down.
Agent Sara Hill is a great female version of James Bond (with a snarky American attitude). This was a quick and fun read and I look forward to reading future installment.
Great story! The story is more present day focused, without the needed tragic backstory. I found it to be a relaxing, quick spy/agent story. Love the main characters smart mouth and irreverent attitude. I found myself laughing throughout the book.
