It Was Physical

Rate this book
They said it was physical.

That was the safest lie.

Kaia knows better than to want Cole Walker. He is too direct, too steady, and far too good at making her forget the rules she built to keep men like him at a distance.

Cole does not flirt in circles. When he wants Kaia, he says so. When one broken door puts him in her apartment after dark, he stays. When she kisses him, he stops pretending this is only a dance lesson.

So they make it simple.

No labels. No promises. No future to discuss.

Just heat. Just touch. Just two people who keep finding reasons to be alone together and keep pretending the reasons matter.

But forced proximity is a dangerous thing when the door is already open. Every night makes it harder for Kaia to call this casual. Every time Cole lets her set the rules, he gets closer to breaking the only one that matters.

Because their bodies were never the problem.

Their bodies knew the truth first.

It Was Physical is a spicy contemporary rom-com about forced proximity, friends with benefits that refuse to stay casual, and the very inconvenient moment when “just physical” stops being enough. Complete standalone. No cliffhanger. Guaranteed HEA.

Most of my best lines come from standing in line at the grocery store, listening to strangers. I have also personally typed out a very honest message and then deleted it, so I know what I'm doing.

sweet Story

Lots of sex but emotional understanding provided. Story that too many people go through in their lives. Flawed characters and untold stories to wonder about. Two people found each other when it was time.
