My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this book and I still can't believe that I didn't read this series when I was younger. I wish I did read this series when I was younger as I think I would of loved this series a little more then than I do now. I love all the characters in this book and I love that each book has its own storyline but has the same characters except each book has one new character each time that moves into the apartment. I have rated this book 4 out of 5 stars really good read.

This book is awesome! I used to think that nancy drew was the best series but this book changed my mind. I'm glad I read it. It holds a lesson that beauty is from the inside not the outside... The best part was when Keira got busted for stealing Jess's catwalk dress and when she got accepted for the final round. Cathy Hopkins is a great writer, I'm looking forward to reading other Cathy Hopins Books...

Pop diva Tanisha comes to live at Porchester Park, where she’s mentoring a modelling competition. Jess is encouraged to enter. It’s her chance to stand out from the crowd and get the attention of the boys in her life. But competing on the catwalk brings out her worst insecurities. Has she really got what it takes to be a catwalk queen??? This book is very interesting and funny. It is intriguing to see the personalities of Kiera Oakley and Pop diva Tanisha. Jess seems to have a hard time with Kiera, as she doesn’t know if she can trust Kiera even though she had been away in Australia for 4 years. Meanwhile, her friend, Flo, is having regular dates with a new Russian boy named Alexei and this boosts her confidence to join the modelling competition as well as Jess. Jess is very happy to have one of her best friends there with her. Jess’s brother, Charlie, is beginning to be interested in Flo as Flo had had a crush on him since she was 9 and he had always referred that he wasn’t into girls and that had knocked Flo’s confidence, which is one of the main reasons why she is so confident being with Alexei. But Charlie doesn’t seem so disinterested when he sees Flo and Alexei together. Things turn out that Charlie and Flo end up together. In the end, Tom realised that Jess is the one for him, but, too late! Jess has finally got a boyfriend at last. And it is... JJ!! I am really excited for book number 4 and I am hoping to read it soon. Cathy Hopkins is an amazing author and you can find put more about her and the book series “Million dollar mates” on this website here...

I know. I said I wouldn't read it again. But it was in the library, so I sat down and in an hour I'd finished a light, fluffy teen book. It's not great, to be honest. Her previous series are by far better--I loved & devoured those!--but this is okay. And if it gets other teens reading, that's a good thing.

I did enjoy this as a light read (as I know I am older than the target audience) but I felt the "love yourself as you are" message was drummed home a little too hard. However I liked the storyline with her old friend (whose name I can't remember) constantly trying to undermine her because I think most people have known someone who is like that!
