Crazy over you is the very first book I've ever read by Wendy Sparrow. I only have one word to describe this book. Hilarious. This book had me laughing from the very first chapter, all the way to the very last chapter. The situations, the characters and most of all, the banter between the characters. This book was such an easy ready that I'm really hoping for more.

LeAnn is a fiery! I loved that about her. Sassy and sarcastic too, but you can't help but laugh. Sometimes you think she's full on crazy but then there are other times you just feel for her. She's a great, in-depth character who just can make you smile, but also can make you sit there going, "OH crap, what is she going to do next?". I didn't find her annoying because of it either, she's just that... very off the wall.

Travis on the other hand is all about control. You realize that first thing. I'd call this guy a complete control freak, and LeAnn just drives the poor guy batty. You can't be organized and in control with her around. He's also very protective of her and goes about it in a way that's not hindering to her. LeAnn is one of those woman that needs to be her own person. Basically, Travis -is- a complete alpha, but not an "Alpha-hole".

If you want chemistry, these two have it. It practically takes on it's own entity and jumps up and down between them. LeAnn is the one that really fights it, but all in all they do get steamy. What I will point out is that they may get steamy, but you have no drawn out sex scenes. It's a pretty safe book in that regard, so if that usually bothers/bores you, this book is for sure one for you to read.

For me, Crazy Over You deserves a definite four star rating. As I said, I laughed practically through the whole book and I loved it! I tend to enjoy the books that can laugh or make me feel emotion and this one hits on those. :D

This funny, action packed shifter romance is the story of LeAnn and Travis. LeAnn is looking for her brother - and she's tracked his scent to the territory of one hot and sexy Sheriff. She insists that she isn't a shifter, but regardless Travis knows that they are a scent-match and destined to mate for life. According to Travis, LeAnn's brother is dead, having wreaked havoc on his pack - but she's determined to prove him wrong. Clearing up the mystery won't be easy though, and with challenges all around him, Travis has his hands full, including convincing LeAnn that they belong together.

I quite enjoyed catching up with the Rainier and Glacier wolf packs in this story, though it took me a bit to get my bearings and figure out who everyone was again as there are a lot of characters to keep straight. As I read the previous book several months ago, the events of that story weren't fresh in my mind but the author did a fairly good job of catching up the reader such that if they hadn't read any of the previous stories they could soon follow along. One of the more interesting aspects of this story is the world building and the detail of describing the pack psychology. Every author who writes paranormal stories has a responsibility to the reader to make their world interesting but at the same time not overly confusing and this author does a great job with that. You get a clear sense of how the characters fit, what their abilities are and how they interact with the 'normal' world around them.

LeAnn is different from your normal shifter - because she doesn't realize that she is one. This is the first time I've come across a character with repressed memories, suffering a form of PTSD. She has blackouts in her memory, time periods where she's started out in one place and ended up in another with no knowledge of what's happened in between. Her estranged half brother is a shifter so she knows about Lycans (wolf shifters) and what their abilities are, but has never been conscious of her own shift so doesn't believe she is one. Yet at the same time she has the other abilities that define one - most notably her very sharp sense of smell (a trait that has a strong part in the story) and her keen eyesight and hearing. In fact, LeAnn's sense of smell makes her an excellent tracker, though she is adamant that it's just a genetic trait and not because she's a Lycan. Her fear of disclosing her memory losses and ending up in an institution means she tries to justify her sharp senses as anything but the idea of being a shifter. From a young age she suffered emotional abuse from her mother who clearly knew what LeAnn would become (her estranged father was a shifter too) and she had some experiences as a teenager that made her subconscious block out memories of shifting to protect her. Because of this, she left home as a teenager, and as a result she's grown up alone, doing her best to survive by whatever means possible (legal or illegal). Meeting Travis and his pack, and the knowledge that she might fit in somewhere finally has a huge impact on her.

Despite the more emotional side of LeAnn's story, there is an abundance of humor and many laugh out loud moments. Travis and LeAnn's conversations are hilarious as they poke and prod at each other, and the same goes for Travis's friendship with Jordan, hero of the previous book and Alpha of the Glacier pack. The romance between Travis and LeAnn is a combination of sweet and sexy (though the scenes don't stray too far into the bedroom). Much of the heat between them comes from the sexual tension that neither of them can shake.

As the newly minted Alpha of Rainier Pack, Travis still has some challenges ahead of him, especially when he declares LeAnn as his scent-match. With the mystery of whether or not LeAnn's brother really is dead, threats to his leadership and an attraction to LeAnn that he can't stop, Travis has his hands full. This is an action packed story right from the start and doesn't let up. It's a great addition to the series. 4 stars.

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!
***Received the ebook for an honest review via Netgalley

The cover is hot!! The only thing that would have made it better was a wolf added to the cover :)

This is the 3rd book in the series :) Somehow I missed book 2 coming out, so I’m going to have to get that in the future and read it :) This is a full novel and is for adults only due to the violence and steamy content. You do not have to, but I think if you read the series in order that it will be much more cohesive than doing what I did and skipping book 2.

I wasn’t sure what to think of LeAnn in the beginning, but she reminds me of someone who harshly judges themselves when she shouldn’t. We all have bad habits, but she is not bad because of them. Travis is definitely an Alpha, but in the beginning, I really thought he was a jerk for some of his thoughtlessness though unintentional, and he tends to be a control freak but what alpha isn’t. He definitely redeemed himself. Plenty of action, mystery, murder, and drama to keep your attention throughout :)

Wendy’s writing is detailed and easy to read. She made a complex plot with lots of twists and turns and complex and unique characters to go with it. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

I recommend this series to book lovers who love wolf shifters and full length novels with lots going on :)

The cool, logical Sheriff has finally met his match and she’s on Travis Flynn’s most wanted list but LeAnn’s life is at stake, especially with his control over the pack being challenged in this exciting paranormal romance.

Wow! Talk about having your life turned upside down and inside out because this is one Sherriff that is completely taken by surprise when a naked woman holds a knife at his throat and the reader can’t help but get drawn into this crazy fun and dangerous story with LeAnn insisting she’s not a Lycan adding quite a bit of confusion. These strong compelling characters take the reader by storm with a romance that quite frankly is off the charts fun since LeAnn is like a miniature tornado on speed (just a little bit on the crazy side) but don’t get me wrong because she’ll capture your heart too and hey she’s just what the sexy alpha needs. The fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge with lots of suspense, excitement and romance while the chemistry between Travis and LeAnn heats up the pages along with all the flying sparks.

Being the sister of someone that pack hates adds lots of tension and excitement throughout the story, especially since everything is not as it seems and everything that happened with their enemy may not be as over as they thought which has the danger escalating and challenges being made. Well written scenes and details bring the story to life making it easy for the reader to get completely caught up in the anticipation while the intriguing events ensure that there is never a dull moment.

I have to say that I was completely charmed by Travis and LeAnn’s story and I must warn you to be prepared for moments of spontaneous laughter during tense moments throughout this story and there is some unexpected twists that are sure to keep you guessing.

CRAZY OVER YOU is the third book in Sparrow's Taming the Pack series and you CAN read it as a standalone, but you will miss out on the information for previous events that are mentioned multiple times throughout the book. There are also characters involved you wont know anything about without first having read the first two books in the series. So my suggestion would be to read the books in order.

LeAnn is a fiercely independent woman with a fiery personality. She comes into Travis's home looking for information on her brother and she refuses to leave until she finds him. She knows nothing of pack life and isn't a wolf, but others don't believe her as she has their abilities and smell to her. Travis is the pack alpha. He is calm and likes things to be done a certain way. He doesn't want to hurt LeAnn, but he must tell her that her brother is dead and was a traitor to his pack. Only problem is she doesn't believe him and soon he doubts that her brother is dead himself.

I really enjoyed LeAnn and Travis as a couple. There were a lot of pushing and shoving aside of feelings, but the constant pull towards each other wore them down in the end. The pack isn't exactly welcoming of LeAnn at first, but I enjoyed watching attitudes change and certain people be put in their place.

With a pack of wolfs the story is never lacking action, drama and danger. Sparrow's writing always flows nice and the story is complimented by the storyline continuation from previous books. I like that characters are brought over from earlier books, but I was missing some of my other favorite characters. I can't help but wonder who will be featured next.

I received this book from Entangled Publishing in return for a fair and honest review.

This is book 3 in the series and whilst this isn't detrimental to the story, I now NEED to read books 1 and 2 plus anything else I can get my grubby mitts on by Wendy Sparrow. This is a fast-flowing, good-paced book that is full of witty banter, sexual attraction, a first-class bitch and impossible situations.

I was kept guessing to the end about Ross and what LeAnn would do. I know what I wanted her to do but she didn't always (if ever) do the expected. The attraction between her and Travis sizzled off the page but they both have an uphill battle with the Pack. They do have a good friend in Jordan however, and I'm sure his is one of the stories that I'm now wanting.

The thing that I loved about this book is that it's not all light and fluffy. Death is involved and I found out it has its own smell. Pack Law is also involved, swift and deadly.

If you need a good shifter book to read, then I can definitely recommend this one. Now excuse me, I'm off to hunt down the others.

I loved this book and loved this series--and now I'm trying not to cry because the author's acknowledgements say this is the series finale...(sniff! sob!!)

...but hey, what a way to go!

It's a good thing that digital highlighters don't ever dry up, because I gave my Kindle's highlighter function a real workout with this one. There are so many laugh-out-loud moments, and so many truly clever lines. I enjoyed the heck out of reading this one--I wish I had room on my reading schedule to re-read the whole series right now, but alas I do not. Definitely something to look forward to in the future, though ;)

Right from the very first page, Travis and LeAnn are on opposite sides--he's a small-town sheriff, she's a (rather successful) petty criminal; she's looking for her brother, he might just have had a hand in the man's very recent death; he wakes from a dead sleep to find her naked on top of him, with one of his own knives to his throat--and just in case that's not enough, Travis realizes almost immediately that they've scent matched, which means they're destined to be mates.

Oh, the conflict! The pages are oozing with it, in the best possible way.
"If you let me up, we can keep talking about this." And by "talking" he meant he'd have her on her back, moaning out his name rather rapidly. His very long stretch of abstinence was about to end.

She licked her lips and wrinkled up her nose. "First, tell me where my brother is."

Well, that would ruin any "talking".
Even though at first they seem like oil and water, the reader can clearly see that fate got it right this time--LeAnn and Travis are each exactly what the other needs. Travis, the organizing, control-freak alpha, definitely needed a less-than-gentle shove out of the rut his life had gotten into. LeAnn had spent a lifetime looking for a place to belong and a family that wouldn't leave or make her want to leave, and she finds it with Jordan and the pack. Plus, she gets to use her "special skills" for the greater good for a change.
She could hot-wire cars. That was good to know. Also very sexy. In a non-law-abiding way that he couldn't ever outwardly support.
The suspense was nicely done--though I was pretty sure I knew some of what was going on, I didn't have it all figured out until the characters did, which was excellent. Book three continues the series' overarching plot where the packs are concerned, finally resolving their main problem--it will all make more sense if you've read the first two books in the series (especially book two, This Weakness for You , since that's when LeAnn's brother has a major role) but if you haven't, much of what you need to know is explained along the way. (Warning: Jordan, hero of aforementioned book two, is in here quite a bit. You're going to love him and need to read his story ASAP, if you haven't already. And maybe even if you have.)

The romance, of course, is fantastic--Travis and LeAnn have great chemistry and even better banter. Even in the middle of a shootout, they were making me laugh.
Both he and LeAnn bounced up at the same time, firing. More swearing from Troy.

"Yes!" LeAnn said as they dropped back down to the floor.

"I got him," they said at the same time before scowling at each other.

"Oh, that was me," LeAnn said.

"No, I'm sorry, but that was me." He wasn't going to give up his hits because she was a woman he wanted in a filthy way--one he wanted even more now that he'd seen her fire a gun. "Troy, was that last hit from a rifle or handgun?" he yelled.

His answer was more swearing.

"It was from a rifle," he translated for her.

"Oh, sweetie, if you really need this to boost your self-confidence, I'll give you this one," she said, giving him a long look.

"Honey, that wasn't a gun in my pocket a few minutes back. Trust me, I have a lot to be confident about." He gestured toward the other side of the table with his head. "Including that last shot."

She pulled her shirt off. "And they're real, babydoll."

He stared.

"And that last shot was all me too."
See what I mean? There's a lot more where that comes from, believe me. ;)

This book was a thank-goodness-I-don't-have-to-work-today-because-I'm-not-sure-I-could-stop-reading-it kind of story. Make sure you've cleared out a few hours before you sit down to start it; you'll be glad you did.

I have loved this series from start to finish, and can't wait to see what Ms. Sparrow has in store for us next. In the meantime, at least we have her backlist... ;)

Crazy Over You by Wendy Sparrow

A humorous Lycan novel with some depth of emotional issues. There were lots of funny comments throughout like: "She read his mail. He was paying way too much for Internet."
Lighthearted and entertaining while also dealing with family and heavier issues. Plus romance. A trifecta winner.

Travis Flynn is Sheriff and Alpha leader of the local Lycan pack. LeAnn is searching for her brother and while the Travis is one hunky distracting man, her history and experiences don't mix well with a member of law enforcement. Maybe she'll just search his gun safe and computer and Internet logs to find out more about the man. He's offered to make her part of his pack. She yearns to be part of a family but has always managed well enough on her own.

Third in the Taming the Pack series. I have not read the prior books and had no difficulty figuring out the storyline of previous books.

Excerpt:
"It wasn't every night you woke up with a naked female on top of you and one of your kitchen knives at your throat. This is ....unexpected. His pulse kept up its pace despite his mental reminder to "stay calm" -- pulses didn't listen to such things, dammit. This was fine. He was in control. Well, he wasn't but he soon would be."

I love shifter books so of course I had to pick up this book. Wendy Sparrow is a new author to me and I was really impressed with her storytelling. I loved that this was a truly original story with a new spin on wolf shifters.

I also loved the witty dialogue and was mesmerized by the suspense hook in the story. LeAnn and Travis were exasperating at time. I mean I loved them, but they were so much alike, it often drove me crazy every time they disagreed and butted heads. Despite their animosity though, their chemistry was off the charts. I completely enjoyed the story.

Crazy Over YouCrazy Over You by Wendy Sparrow was published in 2015 and it is a third book of the series Taming the Pack. I read the book without reading the first two books and I was a little lost on some of the characters background, but it didn't affect my understanding and enjoyment of the story.

Overall, I did like to the story line. I was very intrigue about LeAnn's background. Her background and the connection with her brother made the story line more interesting. Also, the way it connected with Travis' life was funny and entertain at some point. The most I love about this story is how LeAnn is a independent woman that doesn't care what she needs to do to get what she wants. She is carefree, strong, loving, and kind.

I will recommend this book to readers who love fantasy and shifter books. It is a simple story and if you like to read a nice quick story this is a good book for that.

Sheriff Travis Flynn has seen a lot of things but waking up to naked woman holding a knife to his throat is not one of him. Travis had been thinking of taking a mate but when he sees the beauty threatening him he knows he found his scent-match mate. She is crazy but Travis figures it will keep their lives entertaining, the only problem is she is the brother of a traitor to his pack.

LeAnn Willcox had received a strange call from her brother and shows up in town to investigate, only to be told he had done terrible things and was killed because of it. LeAnn though doesn't believe it and decides to investigate herself. Throw in a man who thinks she is his mate and a lifetime of living as a bit of a grifter, LeAnn doesn't know what she wants even if Travis insists it's him.

This was an entertaining paranormal story. A bit angsty with LeAnn and if she will accept Travis as her mate or not. You get why though as you learn her backstory. Plenty of twists and turns in the story that had me turning the page to see what happened next.

Interesting

Different take on the shifter story. I really disliked how he didn’t try to include her in things. That came back to bite him in the ass. Leann and Travis were all heat from the start. You could tell with glimpses to her past that shifting has occurred but has been blocked due to trauma. At least that was my interpretation to some of those flashbacks. It would have been cool if there was an epilogue of how she had fixed that through therapy probably with christa (Jordan’s mate) and unblocked the Lycan side. That seems to rear it’s head in defense of Travis of herself.

Fun Story

So many laughs with a sad back story. The outcome was pretty obvious that that didn’t stop me from staying engrossed. I really loved these characters. Truthfully, I would have appreciated another page or two that would have built up the very last moments of the book more.

A huge Thank You to Entangled Publishing LLC., via Netgalley, for allowing my to read Crazy Over You in exchange for an honest review.

Crazy Over You is the third book in the Taiming the Pack series by Wendy Sparrow.

I haven’t read the first two books, and it is to my understanding that you don’t have to read the first 2 books to understand Crazy Over You.

I liked how the beginning started in the middle of a scene. I also liked that Crazy Over You wasn’t very slow-going. I enjoyed that there wasn’t really ever a dull moment when I read Crazy Over You; which I ended up reading in one sitting. There were also a few times where I laughed — which was totally unexpected.

What I did expect, however, was the culprit and the mastermind behind everything. I found the parts surrounding the antagonist to be pretty interesting, if I say so myself. There were moments on the story where I doubted what I thought of the antagonist. Not many books can make me doubt my decision on something. I was still right in the end though, which is great, since I love being right about the antagonists! Haha.

I’m honestly glad that I read Crazy Over You. — The start of the story is very wild, to say the least. From there on there is quite a bit of action, romance, sexy steamy moments that I couldn’t get enough of, and quite a lot of passion. I wish there were more to the story; I would love to see where LeAnne and Travis future takes them!

Crazy Over You, (Taming the Pack),  Wendy Sparrow
Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
Genre:  Romance,Sci-fi and Fantasy
Well, I’d read the second in this series and loved it, so looked forward to this. Its a fun read, well put together with a number of minor plots as well as the overarching one that connects with the last book. Somehow though it didn’t quite pull me in as much as book two, I’m not sure why, it just didn’t have that can’t put it down feeling though.
Its starts with a bang ( at least that's what Travis would like!) when he’s woken up at knifepoint by a naked LeAnn.....I liked Travis, but could see where he had control issues and to me that affected his part as Alpha. He was over controlling in some areas and yet in others, where he needed to be decisive, he kind of sat on the fence a bit, mulling over what was the right course of action. There’s a need for that of course but sometimes I felt he needed to be more proactive, rather then letting events happen and then taking action.  I think he’s the main issue of the book for me, I just didn’t feel his Alpha-ness, he didn't feel like he had the respect of the pack, and those that didn’t respect him he didn’t seem to call out on. I can’t image Alphas from other books letting pack members get away with the things this pack do. Still, he is leading a difficult pack, a newly formed one and they’re not yet working as a whole so maybe he’s right to take his time. I certainly didn’t see anyone else in the pack suited to the role.
LeAnn, I loved her and so felt for her when Travis seems to see her as weak, or doesn’t want her involved. she’s always felt unwanted, had always been alone and so sometimes when he intends things for one reason she takes it as another sign he doesn't really want her. I loved her interactions with Alanna, I love that jealousy and bitch fight stuff and Alanna was great in that role. She was just the right balance of strong yet vulnerable, mouthy and yet friendly when she’s shown friendship, and was the perfect Alpha for Travis, outspoken and impetuous in contrast to his cool reserved nature. .
It was great meeting Jordan again and seeing how he and Christa were getting along. I love connected books series that do that, bring in others and update the reader on their lives. The plot(s ) played out well with everything wrapping up neatly but they didn’t feel quite as dramatic and full of danger as the last book, even though it was clear what was going on, though not who was behind it and why. In a way the final reveal felt a little anticlimactic and over quite quickly.  I would have liked to see more of the rest of the pack, we get some fleeting interaction but other than Alanna and Troy we don’t see much of anyone else. I wanted to know things too like where the pack’s money came from, who worked and where. Travis is Sheriff, and Alanna a vet but I don’t remember any other jobs, and yet the members must have worked somewhere. How did they keep what they were from workmates etc? Still, it’s a decent read, more than the usual fantasy romance with a solid story backing it up. I do enjoy books like that, which aren’t all light and fluffy but have some depth to them.

Stars: Four, a good read but not quite as engrossing as the last book.

I always end up with mixed feelings when I get to the end of a series because I love getting to know the characters and absorbing their stories but I also dislike having to say goodbye. Of course, if Wendy Sparrow decides to add a book or two (or more) to the series, I'll gobble each one up happily. If this truly is the last book, at least it ended on such a high: with a story unique to the lead characters, Travis Flynn and LeAnn Wilcox, but still with the the patented mix of humor, romance, and suspense that give readers thrills and chills. LeAnn has been through a lot in her life and it's made her suspicious and hesitant to trust people around her. She's a bit off-kilter, an observation that hits Travis from the very instant they first meet and the scent-match is made, but she isn't crazy. What she is is a survivor and somewhat of a loner.

The laughs are still very much there, but LeAnn's personal history is dark. It's easy to think of her as nothing more than a loony lead character, but there are reasons for why she is the way she is and my heart broke for her when I learned about her life story prior to coming to search for her brother. It is that very relationship that makes her scent-match with Travis a somewhat controversial one, unlike Dane and Vanessa Hansen's from Past My Defenses and Jordan and Christa Hill's from This Weakness for You. It is, after all, difficult to trust the sister of the lycan who appeared to be behind the planned annihilation of the Glacier Peak pack. Then there's LeAnn's insistence that she isn't lycan at all--she doesn't appear to be capable of shifting (or so she believes) but has traits that you would find in someone who was actually one.

The intrigue aspect is amped up in this third book and events that occurred in the first two books factor into this story, so I'm going to highly recommend that you read the books in order so you don't miss out on anything. There's more mystery and suspense here, and I feel that it was necessary since everything that happened from the first book to the second book finally culminates with this third book. I loved books one and two, and number three simply reiterated just how addicted I am to the Taming the Pack series. This has become a 2015 favorite and I would encourage anyone who enjoys the paranormal-suspense-romance genre to check these books out. I hope the stories and characters evoke as much love and laughter with you as they did with me. I'm crazy over Crazy Over You and I'm giving it five-plus stars. ♥

Thank you Netgalley for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!!!

Hilarious. Hot. Sexy. Intriguing.

This book was the third in the series, which was a shame because I really wanted to read more on Dan & Vanessa, and Jordan & Crista's relationship built. But with this book,
I think if I would've read books 1 & 2, this couple would've been my favorite none the less.

Summary:

She's on the sheriff's most wanted list.

Waking up with a naked woman holding a knife at his throat is just about the last thing Sheriff Travis Flynn expected. And the brother she's looking for? A murderer. And dead. Probably. But the real shock comes when she insists she's not a Lycan.

LeAnn Wilcox isn't looking for love...especially not from some wolf in sheriff's clothing. She operates on the other side of the law. Once she finds her brother-alive-she'll get out of the pack's territory and go back to her regular, normal, non-furry life of changing jobs and her name whenever her past closes in.

The cool, logical Sheriff has finally met his match, but LeAnn's life is at stake if she won't claim her place in the pack, especially once his control over the pack is challenged and her brother's fate is questioned.

My thoughts:

1. I hated Alanna. She was a sneaky son of a b*tch.
2. I can't believe LeAnn never shifted, I was waiting for that moment when she would go all full blown Alpha and shift, but I'll probably see it in the next book?
3. The alternate characters needed to be mentioned more. Like Dan & Vanessa? Why couldn't they be involved? Only Jordan from the previous books were mentioned, and people from his pack too that transfered but only like 2-3 times.
4. I felt bad for Ross, he was mislead, and that death was tragic...
5. The action, the mystery, the romance, that's what ties the book together and made me so utterly captivated and keeping my eyes glued to the pages, that by the time I got to the ending, I needed more -.-
5. The ending was too rushed. I mean, I missed the acceptance of the scent match, the wedding, what happened to Alanna finally, and if LeAnne ever shifts or not. The epilogue was really more of what happens a fee months after, but do they have kids? I don't even know... -sigh-.

Disappointments aside, this was one of my favorite Lycan series' and I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next, which couple shall it be? I wonder...

This is the third book in the Taming the Pack Series. It's also my first read by this author. Crazy Over You starts out with a very naked LeAnn hovering over Sheriff Travis Flynn while holding a knife to his throat. The humor is right out front when he can't decide if this is a dream or a nightmare. When he realizes she is nuts...but also his scent-mate...he still can't decide!

This book picks up immediately after the last one ended, and while I hadn't read those, I was quickly caught up in the fact there had been a pretty big battle, lycans died, and LeAnn's brother was thought to be the instigator of said battle and that is supposed to be dead. LeAnn knows her brother is a wolf as is the sheriff. She also knows she just isn't, although she does have some of the perks of being furry. Eyesight, hearing, sense of smell...which makes her one heck of a tracker...and a thief.

While the pack is pretty sure that last battle is over, there are some loose ends coming up and making life difficult for all involved. Those loose ends also make some wolves dead and all the paw prints point to LeAnn.

Travis is sure she is not guilty...mostly. And he really doesn't want his mate to be guilty, either.

There are trials and tribulations, interspersed with laugh out loud humor in this one. I did enjoy those aspects very much. I took several points off for the repetitive narrative. "She isn't good enough for him." "He isn't good enough for her." This is the book that finally made me decide to start highlighting the repetitions so that I can say: The author said THIS line THIS many times...sigh. There were several "cludgy" paragraphs, too. I kept wishing for my red pen as I forced my way through some of the verbose lines.

Now, knowing repetition is my pet peeve, you may not notice those things. And you might just focus on the FUNNY stuff that kept happening. And I quite agree that this is FUNNY. You should read it just for the laughs. Truly.

*Thank you, Entangled and NetGalley, for the opportunity to read this book.

Lycan Alpha , Travis Flynn is trying to come to terms with his pack. They are a bunch of misfits , some of them intent on challenging him for the Alpha spot. They are all recovering from the recent battle with the poachers that was set up by one if their own.
LeAnn has come to find her brother after a cryptic message. He told her that his alpha was out to kill him. She is not a lycan but she can track and knows her brother is alive despite what everyone tells her.
This is the third in the series and must be read in order. Our control freak alpha is nearly driven crazy by our naughty heroine. Something we thought ended in the last story, is not . Who is the one pulling the strings?.
Another real fun story with an intriguing story line.
I have lived each of the books in the series, and hope there is more to come.

As in the second book in this series, 'This Weakness for You', the author hooks the reader in from the very beginning. It is a fun read with a feisty, fiery, independent female, LeAnn, who appears slightly crazy to most folks she meets in this werewolf shifter romance. She’s gone looking for her brother, Ross, who seems to have disappeared. Travis Flynn is the sheriff and the pack’s alpha. Her way of introducing herself to the him is to sneak into his home, go to his bedroom where he’s sleeping then to sit on him, naked with a knife to his throat! Not exactly the usual way to ask for help, is it? The chemistry between them is hot as they are a scent-matched pair but she still adamant that she isn’t a shifter. That kind of sets the tone for the whole story though there’s plenty of action with great banter between the characters throughout.

When her brother may be a murderer who was killed but might not have been, pack politics, others having difficulties accepting LeAnn and her still convinced that she isn’t a shifter, life can only continue to be enthralling! The mystery deepens as scents seem to be camouflaged or deliberately left to misdirect investigations. The plot and sub plots are well developed and the reader is so taken into this paranormal world that you start accepting it as normal rather than fantasy. The interactions between the various characters are brilliantly portrayed, giving you a sense that you’re actually witnessing them!

This is a brilliantly written paranormal romance with mystery, suspense and, of course, humour that engages and entertains the reader, making it on that I have no hesitation in highly recommending to anyone who enjoys books in these genres. i do hope there will be further books in this series and I’ll certainly look out for any other books written by Wendy Sparrow in future!

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley too,

Once I downloaded the book to my kindle, it was impossible to put it down. I literally had my e-reader glued to my hand everywhere I went. Author Wendy Sparrow used a descriptive narration that gave me a very vivid idea of the location, weather conditions, and character designs. It was as if I could see Travis and Leann in my mind.

Leann, a social reject and mental case, makes you really sympathize with her and find yourself rooting for her. Travis is a character I had a love-hate relationship with. One minute I am totally hot for Travis, and the next I found myself wishing someone would just hit him. I felt the villain was well drawn out.

I did, however, get the feeling that the overall story was something I had read before. The portrait of the wolf pack was reminiscent of Twilight. Shape-shifting Lycans, branded by their pack, stripping their clothes off and transforming. Although the author did a wonderful job of putting her own spin on things, I would have enjoyed the book much more if she had included more of a back story on the villain, provided additional character developments, and spent less time on the back and forth cat and mouse chase.

I did enjoy the book and would recommend it to fans of the Twilight or True Blood series.

LeAnn Wilcox is a woman on a mission. The book opens with LeeAnn naked and holding a knife to Sheriff Travis Flynn's throat. She's trying to find her brother, a member of his pack and wants to know where he is. That's one way to introduce yourself to your brother's alpha, I guess. What she didn't know is that everyone is sure that her brother is dead since he betrayed the pack. She is still determined to find him and doesn't believe that he's dead.

Oh and to throw a kink in her mission, when she's naked and holding the knife to the sexy sheriff's throat, she scent matched (think soul mates). She's determined not to settle down with Travis and his pack of lycans, she just wants to find her brother and get out. But don't you know Travis has other plans. He's slowly chipping away at her heart.

The book started a bit slow for me, but really it was just setting up the pack dynamic and building for the surprises. I enjoyed LeAnn's character after a bit, since she did seem a bit crazy at the beginning. I liked Travis's character from the start though. It was an interesting read, and I'd definitely read book two. If you're looking for a whodunit with weres I suggest you pick this one up.

Having read another one from this author and enjoyed it immensely I was familiar with her writing. This one looked even more delightful and by the time I was finished it was that being better than expected. I so love it when a author can give me the reader characters that are so vibrant and alive with added bonus being in paranormal. Oh shucks though when it is written so well and I have disappeared into the story as I did in this one I truly forget that it is paranormal and continues as normal LOL. The opening with Travis and LeAnn is a humdinger with chuckling along the way. She is the type of character you could do nothing but love her she has that much magnitizm so it goes to reason her mate would have to be the same. Intriguing storyline that sneaks up on you and before you know it you too have to know if the rumors are true and if the nose knows. Again the humor that embodies her as the she interacts with others is worth the reading in itself. There be a mystery afoot and the good sheriff is the man uhum for the job with alittle help from others. Being they are also matched makes for some heat along with the mystery that warms it up even more. She will hold her own and when this is finished you will glad you stopped by because it would be a shame to have missed this one.

This is my first encounter with this authors work and I have to admit that I'm glad I stepped out of my reading comfort zone and gave this book a try. It was a very suspenseful and engaging read that grabbed my attention right away and kept me up well into the night reading, because I just couldn't put it down. I normally steer clear of stories involving anything from the sci-fi or paranormal genre because I really struggle to find a interest in them, but after reading the book synopsis I had to take a chance on this book.

The writing style made it really easy for me to just fall right in and enjoy the story. The characters had a smoldering undeniable chemistry which made for some very hot and spicy encounters that left me fanning myself. Travis's need to protect LeAnn no matter the cost earned him ultimate alpha male status with me and left me swooning a time or two.

This story was definitely worth the venture outside of my reading comfort zone, and turned out to be quite the literary treat for me!

***A gifted copy was provided by the publisher for my honest review******.

LeAnn Wilcox is looking for her brother and she isn’t leaving until she finds him and gets him out of whatever trouble he is in. Travis Flynn is the Sheriff and Alpha of the pack of Lycan wolves. This is a mystery wrapped up in humor and paranormal romance in one. These two have to work together to find out what really is going on. Is LeAnn’s brother a murderer as “they” are saying or has he been framed? And when LeAnn finds out what Travis is underneath his uniform…watch out for the fireworks.
The chemistry between LeAnn and Travis was great. I loved the intensity of Travis who had the ALPHA thing going on- he was quiet but when he had something to say, whoa, watch out. LeAnn was the opposite, she was a chatterbox and she was into feeling everything and was into action immediately and doing things right then and there. She was passionate, feisty and sweet. , .There was wonderful humor and I loved the supporting cast of characters. This was an entertaining read that keeps the reader’s interest thru the whole book. I cannot wait to read another book in the series.
My rating: 4.0 stars ****

Travis Flynn is a sheriff. He's also alpha of his pack of werewolves.

LeAnn surprises him one night, naked, with a knife against his throat. She's looking for her brother. Travis insists he was killed after he murdered someone (THIS WEAKNESS FOR YOU), but LeAnn insists that she can still scent him.

Speaking of scenting...Travis and LeAnn discover that they are scent-matched, or mates. But Travis is a sheriff and LeAnn has lived on the other side of the law. And Travis is staid, while LeAnn is a bit crazy. So they're not right for each other...are they?

I enjoy Wendy Sparrow's books for their humor. Some of it is subtle (watch for it!), and some of it is laugh out loud. In this book, LeAnn was the comedienne and Travis and Jordan were the straight men.

It wasn't all fun and games, though. There was good emotional depth to the book, which also made me cry.

Enjoy CRAZY OVER YOU along with the rest of the series!

I have read and loved the other two books in this series and this one is no exception. I absolutely adored LeAnn. Oh my word she is hysterical. From the way she jumps from subject to subject, mouths off threatening others, to crying uncontrollably, I love her. I can so relate to her, mentally anyways. Travis and LeAnn scent-matched and could not keep away from each other. Although this story does not show any "scenes", which is not necessary to improve the story, they have such a magnetic connection. It was like "Bam!", lips together. I enjoyed her challenging Travis and keeping him on his toes. I loved him making her feel belonged and like family.

Comedic entertainment provided by Jordan. I simply adored Jordan and Christa's story. Jordan's appearance in this story was perfect along with his interactions with LeAnn.

I hope we get more in this series. It is so funny, keeps you guessing on who did it, and has hot alpha males with their strong women. I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher.

Third book in a series, but a definite stand alone.
If you've read the other stories, you'll enjoy revisiting past characters, if not, they fill out more of this story.
With this book we learn more about pack law, pack justice and why someone became the 'bad guy'. We meet LeAnn, who is the sister of the trator of the pack, while she's naked and sitting on the sleeping sheriff Travis's chest with a knife to his throat.
She's gutsy, funny, loyal, crazy and Travis's mate.. He recognized the scent match right away but trying to convince LeAnn, who no one (including her mother) ever wanted before, is proving difficult.
A supposed dead enemy is back, more deaths, misdirection, a couple falling in love, and a woman finally believing in her own worth, makes for a very interesting story. This has great characters, both old and new, and I would love more stories about LeAnn, she's terrific.

Imagine waking up to someone crouching over you with a knife to your neck. That's exactly what happens to Travis, sheriff and alpha to a pack of lycans. He finds LeAnn over him, knife in hand, and completely naked and to make matters worse, one sniff tells him she's his scent-mate. LeAnn on the other hand is looking for her brother Ross, but soon learns from Travis that her brother is a traitor, a murderer, and dead yet she refuses to believe that. Now Travis has to deal with convincing LeAnn that Ross is a killer and she's a lycan (she's convinced she's not) and he also has to deal with the supposed return of Ross when everyone thought he was already dead. Plus things aren't going too well with Travis' pack, there's challenges for his position as alpha, a member being killed, and crazy psychos out to get him. Travis has a lot to handle, at least LeAnn can help him out as his alpha female, if she even sticks around. >_<
