He Wants It, He Gets It

Rate this book
Emma Allred is usually polite and well-mannered, but when the rudest customer she's ever met walks into her diner, she can't help but lose her temper. A heated encounter turns into her worst nightmare when she finds out the jerk who she's thrown coffee on is none other than billionaire CEO, Dante Caito.

Hot, sexy, and demanding, Dante gets whatever he wants, whenever he wants, and he's not about to let little Emma get away without a lesson. Even if it means purchasing the diner so that she loses her job or buying out her apartment complex to demolish her home. He'll stop at nothing to get her revenge-- simply because he can.

But Emma isn't about to back down without a fight. Just because Dante is worth billions, doesn't mean that he can ruin her life. Dante just might have met his match. There's something about Emma's fiery nature that draws him in... He finds himself determined to have his way with Emma, inside and outside of the bedroom.

And he will. Because when he wants something, he gets it.

Only one problem...

This was a good story. I'm looking forward to reading the other books to figure out how their stories end and I can definitely see where the author was going with the story line. An alpha male that like complete control over everything and hates defiance. A woman that is independent and isn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in and to protect her sister. The only problem I had with the story was with his moment of abuse where he started choking her (which ended up leaving bruises) because he was so angry. I draw a line at abuse of any kind (even if he felt sorry later on after it happened) but besides that one moment, good story.

This was an okay read. The heroine is struggling. She is raising her 16 year old sister who has diabetes. One day the hero, Dante, comes into the diner she is a waitress at, he acts like a jerk, and the heroine ends up throwing a cup of coffee at him.Dante gets so upset that he buys the diner which gets her fired and then he buys the building she lives in and get her evicted. Emma fights back which gets Dante attention. Dante is not swoon worthy at all, but I am still curious where the story will go.

I personally think the sister is a brat. Emma is struggling to make ends meet, plus she just lost her job and the sister is complaining that Emma will not be able to buy her a new dress which makes Emma feel bad!!! Are you kidding me?!?!? UGH, the sister annoyed me.

Received this as part of The VIP Room.
Emma works so hard and looking after her sister. Along comes Dante, who is so rude and arrogant . She is serving him at the local cafe and because of his behaviour throws coffee over him. oh Emma what have you done. Revenge doesn't come into it what Dante does next. So cruel but Emma is a little fighter. Brilliant story loved it.

So...

Far so good. I am liking the arguing and back lash Emma is giving the billionaire. I don't think he realized what hit him. Haha
