While the Hindu population is growing rapidly in the United States, most American Christians don't know enough about Hinduism to effectively present Christ to this group. The author, an Indian now living and teaching in a Bible college in the United States, helps readers understand the types of Hinduism they're likely to encounter, tips and methods to reach out to Hindu friends, and suggests answers to Hindu concerns about Christianity. The book also can be used by missionaries in India and Asian countries.
A little bit dry, but a good introduction to Hinduism from a Christian perspective. Though it's titled "Sharing Your Faith with a Hindu" I found it to be lite on practical suggestions (though there are some) and more useful for explaining differences in how Hindus practice their religion, what those practices look like, and a comparison of Christian beliefs versus Hindu beliefs.
Sharing your faith with a Hindu was a mind changing book on engaging with our Hindu neighbors. Not only did Madasamy Thirumai offer an insider view of the Hindu belief system, he also offered, what seems to be, exact methodology. He offered several eye opening points, and left much for he thought of over months of reading and rereading this book.
