Always After Dark: The Box Set
Always After Dark is a spinoff with the white tiger from Shifters Forever: Vax, born Vittorio Tiero. He’s the one that helped Kane out during a shifter battle.
Always After Dark takes place in Dallas, Texas. The Tiero family, a group of white tiger shifters is bringing some of its business interests from Europe into the United States.

That’s a no-no because of the Tiero Council Code. One of the tigresses is a furious, petulant visitor whose jealousy puts Callie in danger.
Now Vax has two problems. Keeping Callie alive and keeping that he’s a shifter secret from her.

Make that three problems because his half-brother, an equally sexy, shifter named Rafe is in from Europe for a visit. And he’s got his eye on Callie. He’ll waste no time going for what he wants while Vax is taking care of After Dark.

Beyond Disappointing
I will give this boxed set 1 Star overall (because I have to give it something). Each story was a special kind of awful, and I’m honestly shocked I made it through 3 of the 4. I have provided specific reviews for each of the stories I actually read.
Controversy – 1 Star
There was almost no direct interaction between the two MCs. How can people rate this 5 stars? You have Callie who is all sick, heartbroken, and pining for a guy she's barely talked to, let alone had enough of a relationship with to justify that reaction. And, like a child, she has this relationship with a tiger ("her tiger") where she tells him everything, and it just so happens to be the guy she has a crush on?? Puh-leeze. This story was a joke. Even the bad guy (er, gal in this case) is a bloody childish drama queen that any alpha worth his mettle would have kicked out - would-be alliances be damned. Vax is a weakling and barely fleshed out. Not at all impressed.
Territory – 2 Stars (barely)
Having the boxed set is the only reason I continued on to read this story… that and a morbid sense of curiosity to know if the series/writing gets any better. While this one was better than the first (the MCs actually have a conversation before mating), it still falls short. Cy was okay, although there is no explanation for him hating his own kind. Lila was the very definition of too stupid to live. She makes the stupidest decisions and the author is kind enough to have help always arrive just in time. It's interesting how she gets pissed when people treat her like "a princess who needs to be locked away in a tower", but then she runs out and proves why she needs protection. What a joke. There was next to no love or romance, with the MCs being driven by hormones and their animals.

This story, like the series as a whole is a total disappointment. The summary makes this novella out to be a Romeo and Juliet tale, but excepting the fact that the two families have history (which isn't even recent), I don't see the resemblance. There is seriously not a strong personality in this series, which leads me to believe the author doesn't know how to write them. The males are weak, as are the women, who are all TSTL on some level. The writing is amateurish and there are a lot of words, but little plot. The love scenes are wordy (and not in a good way), boring, and lack passion. I honestly skimmed through every single one in the series. I will not be reading the last one and I'm ticked that I bought the boxed set. What a waste of my time and money.

The After Dark Series was incredible, the tigers and the sanctuary were so realistic that it just plays like a movie in your head. You can visualize all the areas and people so well that it just sucks you in from beginning to end. I couldn't put it down and will definitely keep as a go-to read. #sogood #tigershifters #familybonds #oneclick #mustreadseries

The family who covers each other in all situations
Haven’t followed or read many para normal books, I must say I did enjoy this box set with the balance of action, suspense and very steamy parts.
Enjoyed and recommend this book to those who like this genre and others who are looking to see if they would like it as well.

Good series
I really enjoyed the characters and the storylines. The stories were intriguing and sexy. My only criticism is that each book ended somewhat abruptly. But I will read more of this author's work.

Not great. Just ok. Readable but the stories were very simple and the sex a bit strange. Not kinky strange just unbelievable. Is the author a man as some of the women's feelings and actions were also a bit off. I don't know just not for me.

Fun series. I recommend reading Elle Thorne's shifters starting with the first series. Then work your way through the families.

All the stories I thus Shifters Forever boxset were brilliant. I love cats of any kind so these books were right up my alley. I cannot wait to read Rafe’s story.

Controversy is book 1 in the Always After Dark series by Elle Thorne. It tells the story of curvy graduate student Callie Rivera and white tiger shifter Vax Tiero.
Vax runs a nightclub called After Dark, that doubles as a safe haven for shifters. Callie works for Vax at After Dark and even though she has barely ever talked to Vax she has fallen for him. Unknown to her, she's Vaxs mate. Only problem Vax is forbidden to mate with a human. Enter equally sexy Rafe, Vax's half-brother and jealousy pits brother against brother when Rafe decides he also wants Callie.
I liked both Vax and Rafe. However I found myself thinking Rafe is far better for Callie. Their chemistry is nova hot. While Vax and Callie had very little together until near the end. It was hot when they finally came together. It still left you felling like they had no real build up leading to them getting together.
Having said that I still really enjoyed the book and wanted more of the characters. The story was intriguing and sexy with lots of little twist. It left me wanting more. I look forward to more books in this series. I recommend this book for anyone that likes a good shifter romance story.

I loved the characters that Ms. Thorne comes up with for her books. They are always fully thought out and multidimensional. Even the bit players or secondary characters are fleshed out to the point that you really get a feel for who they are and what their purpose is in the story. I like that about her books. I like characters that aren't all black and white. That's the bad guy, this is the good guy doesn't work with me. People are shades of gray. A little bit of this and maybe a lot of that thrown in.
I also thoroughly enjoy how she builds her stories up. She starts out strong and stays that way. Her worlds she creates are powerful, exciting and take you on a ride that you never want to get off of.

Because of everything a conference is called with the heads of the shifter clans. The lion shifters crash in demanding to know why they weren't invited. Alpha Mark Martinez has come with a purpose but it's forgotten once he lays eyes on Veila. They are different species and sworn enemies due to on going feud.
Adversary is another hit for Ms. Thorne. She has build a fantastic amazing world full of intriguing, wild and exciting characters. I love this series and these characters. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

She is a Romanoff after all. Gavin starts pushing her away which only hurts and confuses her. She and her fox know that he is their mate. Fighting his attraction to Layla was getting harder and harder. So when he finds her a Sanctuary he loses control of his animal. He marks and bonds with her without permission which Layla is perfectly fine with.
I have to start off by saying I totally love the cover of this book. Now about the book. I love this book. The characters are sexy hot, tough, strong, spunky and very well thought out. The pace is steady and fast enough that's it grabs you in. It's well written but does have a few typos but nothing that will in anyway take away from the enjoyment of the book.

Yay! Box set! Snagged this puppy...err....kitty up right away it was .99....mine! :) Great set of stories I already read more than once and loved loved loved!
Controversy is about hot tamale Vax and sweet human Callie. He's wanted her ever since he laid eyes on her while working at his club. She's drawn to him and wants him too but doesn't think someone like him would want someone curvy like her. She's got a relationship with a white tiger she speaks to and has no idea its Vax! That tiger is her best friend and confidant she spills her secrets to. She's so mad when she finds out its Vax lol. Great story and oh so yummy!
Territory is about Lila, one of Vaxs' sisters. She's had a relationship with Gavin who's the head of security but they aren't mates and things didn't work out. Gavin has trouble getting over her a little. She meets this tiger shifter Cy who's on a mission to find his missing/kidnapped sister. Lila and Cy are mates. Lila feels she's got something to prove and tries to solve this on her own. Cy kinda messes up and doenst trust her to NOT get hurt. Ohhh is she mad or what! Has every right to be. Their journey is an interesting one and loved it!
Adversary is an interesting story about Veila another of Vax' sisters. We meet Mark Martinez who's family of had a feud with the Teiro family for years. Its a Romeo and Juliet sorta. This is a heartbreaking story in a way with how Vax was forced out because he chose to take a human as his mate. His father is old school and refuses to "dilute" the lines but Vax didn't give a crap and loves Callie. Veila stands up for her brother and herself because she sides with Vax. So family drama aside her and Mark are mates and although its rocky they get their HEA.
Last but not least is Sanctuary. We get Gavin's story and a little artic fox named Laila who knows she's his mate but because of his past he avoids her and refuses to be with her. After she is more or less scared because of a note she received while working...Gavin's mating instincts kick in. LOL. He isn't able to fight it. He still kinda does but after his fox isn't having it! She's got secrets of her own.

Elle Thorne is an author with whom you are going to get a good story. The spin-off series from Shifters Forever, the Bear series located in Bear Canyon Valley. We first met Vax when he was saving Kane from the hunters after him. Vax and Callie's story is a really good heart felt story, my favorite of the box set. Even though Vax is the head of the Tiero family in the U.S. he goes against tradition for love. Lila and Cy's story always has something going on. From the beginning his sister Petra is missing and Cy is searching for her. Lila is determined to help find her, and in the process they realize they are mates. Veila and Marks story is different from any of the others. Veila is a white tiger and Mark is a lion, the Tiero family does not mate out of their species. Not only does Veila go against her father's wishes, but so did Vax when he mated Callie, a human. Layla was one of the captives saved in Cy and Lila's story, she was staying with the Tiero's while she healed. During her stay she met Gavin, who is the head of security. Layla is the princess of the Romanoff family, which is apparently a royal family of the fox shifters. However, they fall in love and in the end her father approves. These stories are short, but you are still able to get to know the characters fairly well and see their chemistry. On top of that you get your fair share of suspense. As always Elle does a great job. Can't wait to get onto the next series.

i love the Bear Canyon Valley Shifters and this is an spin off or extension
of them ... the The Tiero family of shifters in Dallas, TX. I meet Vax in Shifters Forever when he lent a hand to Kane to fight off the rover.
Now we are in Dallas were the Tiero family owns and operates out of a series of high rise buildings. The Tiero are all white tigers and have been raised to believe that they stay pure. ONLY thing is Vax has a thing for a human (his fated mate) so things began to change in the USA branch and it moves this way thru books 1-4. I love this series as much as Shifters Forever and while I was very sad when book 4 ended, I know that I will get to continue to read their stories in the next series of books from Elle Thorne as Vax Callie, Doc and Mae head to Europe to face their European branch and explain why mixing of the species is better for all.
This book series was such a good read and really really hot. HIGHLY recommend.

what is more sexy than a big cat? A box of shifter books about sexy white tiger shifters. The Tiero tribe's (or streak) home base is in Dallas Texas where they run a club with a special sanctuary for visiting shifters. Each story introduces us to some wonderful characters that will quickly grab your heart, unlock your emotions and want to take them home with you. The storylines are well written, easy to follow, quick to read and will keep you entertained right up to the last page. If you are anything like me you will hate to reach the last page as the characters will quickly become your friends and you will hate to see them go. The good news is that Ms. Thorne tends to let you revisit those characters you have come to love in her other series so take heart, you may get to see them again. :)

Another great boxed set, the spin-off series from Shifters Forever has moved to Dallas and the Tierro clan of white tigers. Vax, introduced in Seduction when he came to Kane's aid, is the head of the US arm of the European family's holdings and After Dark, an upscale club designed for shifters. Book One is his story. The next three stories involve his sisters and his head of security. While short, the stories still tic off all the boxes, with a healthy dose of suspense thrown in. I am looking forward to the next spin-off, the Never After Dark series.

What a an absolute cracker! This is a steal for £1.99 and I felt that each book was worth that amount. I was addicted the all of the stories and was so pleased that I had decided that I had bought these books as a box set as I would of had to of gotten the next book to of found of what happens next as I am now with Rafes story. I love Elle's writing style and her sense of humour, the female leads are strong and not whimpy which is always a good thing. This is a definite recommendation.

After Dark 1-4
I've read this entire series and I absolutely LOVE IT! I love the world Miss Thorne has built within the After Dark series. If you've not got it yet, I highly suggest you do so. I won't give any spoilers away but if you're into shifters and paranormal romance then this is the series for you. You might as well get this (the boxed set) because once you start reading it, putting it down won't be an option. Experience talking. Highly addictive!

Love this series
The characters keep getting better and better. Tigers, Grizzly Bears, Polar Bears, Wolves, Panthers and a Fox....wow could it get any better? The passion between Gavin and Layla is powerful. The continued story of all the characters from past books is wonderful. Being able to catch up on favorite characters from the Shifters Forever series is perfect. Meeting new characters that you are sure to love is great too. I'm ready for the next installment now!
