I was excited to find a cookbook that offered dairy-free recipes, especially when it comes to snacking. However; when you look closely, there is a list of ingredients for each recipe, but when reading the cooking directions there are some recipes where other ingredients are needed, but not listed. Second, some of the ingredients are not easy to find in local food stores. So, for me, the book has potential but it needs some improvement.
Basically an ad for So Delicious brand products. If necessary, I could find some substitutes or make them myself, but others, I don't even really know what some of the ingredients are or where to find them.
Not my style of eating or lifestyle, but the cookbook does have some interesting recipes that sound delish. Most of the formulas I'm sure can be made using dairy and/or flour ingredients if chosen to do so. I, have bookmarked a few recipes of interest to try.
There were a few good ideas amongst these but there were a lot of american brands mentioned which I had never heard of, so had no idea what those ingredients were! I will have a go at the few which had familiar brands!! This book was really just a promo for certain foods. In America!
I was curious about this book because i love snacks :) I love dairy but I'm interested in different ways of making things. This is an OK book. Some of the recipes in here I'd like to try. But there's some ingredients in these recipes that might be hard to get. Interesting book though.
