"It was hard to think when being consumed by the big, bad wolf."
After reading the first book in the 'Overnight Billionaires' series, I knew I wanted to continue with it. I loved the writing style and the concept of the book. Who doesn't love a man with a southern accent? In this book you will find three sexy, southern brothers who have inherited a lingerie shop from their uncle. The start of the series was about Deacon and Olivia; this book focuses on Nash. I liked all these characters, so it's really hard to choose just one brother, but Nash would probably be my choice if it came down to it.
Nash has a playboy reputation but we find out real quick that's not quite the case. He has a major hang-up from his past that he can't seem to get over and considering it's a big deal, it's really no wonder he acts the way the does. But then he meets Eden, who could change the game for him. Eden was a strong and determined character who, once she set her sights on it, always accomplishes her goals. I enjoyed the fact that she didn't care to give Nash some of her attitude.

This story was definitely different and the hero's past was unfortunate but basically the main characters were just weird. The behavior the hero developed was strange. The heroine's drive to meet goals was overboard and unbelievable. Eden is a reporter undercover to get a story and she discovers billionaire Nash has a kinky secret.

I had read the first in this series several months ago and couldn't wait for the next book in this series. Who can resist sexy southern billionaires running a lingerie empire? This series just keeps getting better and so do the Beaumont brothers.
Nash Beaumont is the most charming of the Beaumont brothers but beneath that laid back exterior are some demons Nash is trying to lay to rest.
Eden Huckabee, the granddaughter of the wacky nudist neighbors in book 1, is trying to make it big as an investigative reporter. She thinks she has found THE story when she meets Nash Beaumont. But somewhere along the way, the story becomes less important than getting to know Nash and the new friends she has made. Will she be able to write her big story or will her "undercover" research come back to bite her in the butt?
Like the first book in the series, this story moves at a fast pace. It's filled with more kooky characters, funny moments, a little danger, and lots of romance. In short, you won't be disappointed. If you've not read the first in the series, this can be read as a stand alone but why miss a moment of these sexy southerner's adventures! I can't wait for younger brother Grayson's story. Just finished this book in one day. It was fun, flirty, and sexy read with a little bit of drama surrounding the escort service girls and their pimp. Eden was fired from her reporting job so with the last ditch effort to prove to her boss she is a worthy employee, Eden took a big risk. Eden followed Nash, the dark seducer who uses the escort service to deal with his troubled past. Eden was supposed to deliver a juicy story exploiting the Beaumont hottest bachelor. What Eden didn’t expect was to fall in love with the charming seductive Nash. Will she put her career or her heart on the line?
Eden is smart, hard working, beautiful and super stubborn. She does not give up easily once she sets sight on her goals. Eden compliments Nash well – Nash is successful business man, hot, sexy and also stubborn. He as a deep secret though that he hasn’t quite dealt with in over 10 years. Eden is exactly what he needs – a fireball who barged in his life and will not give up on Nash no matter what circumstances. There were many other secondary characters that are all likable and interesting adding surprising twists to the story. Nash’s brothers, Eden’s best friend and her workmate. Let’s not forget Eden’s grandparents – there are absolutely hilarious. There were a lot of characters to keep straight but I think they are all amazing addition to the story-line and I see potential for several more books to this series.
Over all, I really enjoyed this fantastic love story full of laughs, romance, funny banters, little bit of angst and suspense. I am looking forward to the story of Grayson and Chloe.

Good continuation of the Overnight Billionaires series. Eden is a reporter who actually isn't very good at her job. To keep her job at the newspaper, she needs to find a good story. While researching a piece on prostitution (by playing the part of an escort), she discovers the identity of a patron referred to as "The Dark Seducer." All she needs is a little more information, and she'll have what she needs. She doesn't count on falling for the subject of her investigation.
Nash is the sexiest of the Beaumont brothers. His Southern charm and sexy smile have the women throwing themselves at him, But Nash has a secret life that no one knows about until one particular woman gets under his skin. Suddenly the control he is so proud of isn't as strong as he thought it was and his life is about to undergo a complete upheaval.
I liked both Eden and Nash. Eden is bold, tenacious, smart, and has a softer heart than she wants to admit. I loved the way that she threw herself into everything she did, from researching the escort business to her story on marathons. She also tends to get too close to her story subjects, which wrecks her objectivity. I loved her interactions with Madison and Chloe, who go from sources to friends. Nash is sexy, charming, loyal, and protective. I loved watching him use his charm to make things happen, from repairs at Eden's apartment to calming various crises at work.
I enjoyed the development of the relationship between Nash and Eden. There was an immediate connection between them when they met, in spite of the deceptive circumstances. Nash is very attracted to Eden, but the secret that haunts him has made him unwilling to get close to any woman. When Eden discovers what it is, all she wants is to help him see that he is punishing himself for no reason. I loved seeing him slowly lose the haunted vibe and begin to open up to Eden. Eden falls for him just as hard, but her deception weighs on her. She knows she needs to tell him the truth but is afraid of what will happen when she does. I ached for him when that truth came out, and Nash is left feeling used and betrayed. He gets some unexpected sympathy and advice from his father, which opens his eyes to some things he hadn't considered. I also hurt for Eden, who had given up on the idea of publishing the story when she realized that she loved Nash. I loved seeing her use that tenacity to show him that she cares. I loved the marathon scene at the end, which was sweet, romantic, and pretty funny.
There were appearances of characters from the first book, as well as the introduction of new ones. Of course, the other two brothers, Deacon and Grayson, have large parts, as well as Deacon's wife, Olivia. I loved Deacon's attempts to deal with low sales on their bras, trying to keep Grayson focused on the swimsuit catalog, and dealing with his over-the-top mother-in-law. I loved the artsy Grayson and his way of getting lost in his painting and sketching. He did surprise me a bit at the end with his involvement in the rescue of the escort, Chloe. It makes me really look forward to his book. I loved Madison, with her chocolate fixation and wild ideas for her life after leaving the escort business. Chloe was a bit rough around the edges but turned out to be a good friend to both Madison and Eden. But my favorite characters were the elderly nudist neighbors from the first book - who turned out to be Eden's grandparents! They were a hoot with their "magic brownies" and their costumes for the charity ball.

I received this book for review and I was kinda bummed out I missed on the first book in this series but I'm so glad I didn't miss out on this one!
Right away the blurb had me interested, I mean who wouldn't want to read about a sexy billionaire owning a lingerie company? This story is about Nash and oh man I seriously fell in love with him from the very beginning. He's charming, laid back but he has some demons from his past that are holding him back. Nash doesn't think he can overcome it but he hires an escort with simple rules no touching, no talking and she needs to do what he says. After the first night he meets Eden he knows he won't forget her but staying away from her is isn't possible.
Eden is trying to make it as a reporter and has her sights set on the big story which involves Nash. During her uncover work she gets to know Nash better and realizes she has found much more then her big story. I really liked Eden's character. She had charm, determination, goals, and a big heart. The way she wanted to help her friends and put them first just goes to show what a good person she was.
Lane delivers another fantastic family read that is filled with laughs, romance, and characters I will never forget. Once I started this story I couldn't put it down and I loved the uniqueness that was included. This story definitely stands out from other billionaire books out there.
Im excited to read the next book in the series and even go back and read the first book. These brothers have it all and I don't want to miss one moment of them! I would definitely pick up your copy today!

One reporter and one billionaire makes for one hot story!
Fun, sexy, and hot. This story has Nash, the hot, sexy billionaire who owns a lingerie store. Isn’t that just handy? LOL He has his own secrets and past that he has to overcome. As you get to know him, you can’t help but love him. As does Eden.
Eden is a reporter, and her latest story is about prostitution. She goes undercover as an escort to get the underlying story, this is where she and Nash crosses paths. This should be an easy story for her to write, but after spending time with the billionaire, she finds herself torn between publishing the story and her feelings for Nash.
There are some twists that will leave you gasping, turning the page just to find out what happens. I enjoyed this book. It is the second book in the series, but can be read as a standalone.

I really liked Eden she was a spitfire, “well, how the heck do I know that? I’m naked!” He could feel the shift of air as her hands waved. “You’re obviously naked. And sex is usually what happens when two people are alone in a bedroom naked.” Nash really enjoys finding his woman sunbathing topless, "his eyes lifted, their bluish-purple depths hot and glittery. “Do you have any idea how much I want to make love to you right now?” Heat settled in her bones and pooled between her legs, and she slowly shook her head. “You’ve totally captivated me, Eden. All I can think about is you…and being deep inside you.” I really liked this book I can't wait to read Grayson's book.

Hier j'étais malade donc je suis restée au chaud et j'en ai profité pour avancer dans mes milliardaires californiens du bayou.
Nash Lothario Beaumont est le second des frères et c'est le plus charmeur et en apparence facile à vivre. Il cache toutefois un sombre truc (mais pas un faux truc olé olé à la Christian Grey comme pourrait le suggéré le résumé ). Nan c'est bien niveau libido mais à la fois moins cuir et plus... psy...
Eden Tulip Huckabee rêve d'être une journaliste reconu et elle se dit qu'un papier sur le côté moins glamour de Frisoc et surtout les chouchous du moment , les Panty Billionaires, lui paverait le chemin vers le Pulitzer. Mais Eden va devoir lutter contre son coeur tendre, son attirance pour le charmeur des Beaumont et...ses grands-parents hippies naturistes prêts à inonder le monde de space brownie XD.
Encore un tome sympathique ^^

Not a bad read. Nash is complex and sexy, Eden is driven and real (although its difficult to like a liar) and there are lots of interesting secondary characters and plot lines, but am I the only one that has a problem with the question of consent here and victim shaming?

So, I did love the book, but it left me wanting just like the first book. Don't get me wrong... it was a cool premise and I still loved it, but just like the first book felt like it ended before the story was over, this one felt that way, too.
We did get glimpses of Deacon and Olivia in book two and the further development of their relationship. I've even seen more of that development in book three. Yet, book II has now moved on to Beaumont Brother #2 and the development of his story. Now, book II has been also left more than a bit open-ended and book III should be about Beaumont Brother #3, but now you can't help but go into book III wondering "are we going to get the finalization of Nash's story, even if it's just tidbits?" So... when book III is finished, am I going to feel that way about Grayson's story?

KL:s writing is chatty and tiresome. I won't read any more of her books.
BUT I liked this book due to the central theme about the grey zone around rape. I wish it was easy to say what is and what is not rape. My first thought was: he is a rapist and should feel the punishment. Always and forever.
But it's not that easy. Life is messy and I wish I always did the right thing. But nobody does. There are many things that you in hindsight wish you hadn't done or had done differently.

Love these billionaires
Nash and Eden's story is another fun filled, emotionally charged story with a lot of crazy ups and downs. Both have past issues which lead them on this crazy journey. Love this story and all the crazy fun loving other characters. Another awesome book.

Love Nash and his brothers especially Grayson. when Grayson tries to make Nash feel better and that he is a good person I melted.
Nash is perfectly imperfect. He is the easy going smiles at you and panties melt guy who looks like he rolls with the punches but he is really hurting inside. He is punishing himself for something that he has guilt about because others made him feel it was his fault. So now he feels he needs to be punished and has been for about ten years. He doesn’t feel he deserves love or companionship. He keeps all his emotions welled up as well and doesn’t burden his loved ones because he feels that it is his burden to carry.
Nash is sweet, kind and luscious. Just yummy. He is honest and loyal as well. This is a man that just has you melt. His voice does this for women as well. One way Nash punishes himself is by not being with anyone. He is trying to show he is in control and won’t harm someone. He uses his voice to have the other find pleasure but he does not receive pleasure in return. He wants to have someone but is afraid. You feel for this broken and sweet man.
Eden is the opposite. She is focused and goal oriented. Even if she isn’t good at something but wants it she gets it. She is a great romance writer but wants to be a reporter even though her writing is geared for novels. So what? Her determination and focus has her laser in and go after what she wants no matter what. In this case she wants to prove she is a reporter so she poses as a escort for a story and meets Nash. Sweet Nash who doesn’t deserve to be alone. They both are attracted to each other but for Nash he is afraid because Eden takes away his control and makes him want more. He wants her to touch him and be there. Eden wants this too but she is nervous and bundles things or so she thinks. So what does Nash do besides war with himself? He looks for her and asks for her again. For Eden this is good because her editor is ready to get rid of her.
Now two people are together again, one trying to keep control but still be around the one who has him wanting more and the other for a story begin a wobbly relationship. Eden does however find out who her seductive client is and is like a dog with a bone. That is until she gets to know him and he starts to open up to her. They have this occur because Nash lives next to her free spirited grandparents who are a hoot with their “brownies”. Nash begins to show who he is to Eden slowly and she begins to fall for him. Yay he deserves it for he is soo nice and kind. What he does for Eden about her apartment is just wonderful.
They are both falling for each other but for Eden she has guilt because of the story angle. So we know that the soup of I am going to be caught before I can come clean or not tell Nash because I am not following through but it happens anyway. With the help of Eden Nash feels free once again. Free of guilt and stops punishing himself but this does become shortlived. Poor nash. We do get a HEA and I hope with the little hints his brother Grayson gets one next.
this is a fun fast paced story of forgiving yourself, letting go of the past and stopping punishing yourself, finding love and truth. A sexy sinfully delightful book about Nash and Eden-how they meet, fall in love and are there for each other. How Eden helps Nash let go and find love with her. A character driven story about love and acceptance and moving on.

Nash Beaumont is the charming brother, always smiling, always flirting but what nobody knows is that underneath all that charm is a very sensitive man with potentially destructive secrets on the verge of being exposed by a tenacious reporter.
Eden Huckabee is on the hunt for the perfect story to cement her reputation as a hard-news reporter and she thinks she has just the right subject, but as she spends more time with Nash, it becomes more about enjoying Nash's company and less about the story. But will Nash be so forgiving when he discovers that she was lying to him all this time?
With his laid-back charm, I didn't expect Nash to be anything more than fun-loving and good with the ladies, but he is a very complicated character and while his dark side and deep secrets were something of a surprise, they also make you just want to fix him.
Eden has never met a situation she couldn't handle and her determination is one of her biggest assets. Once she discovers Nash's secrets, she focuses on making him realize that his guilt and self-loathing are misplaced. Very soon, the lines between professional and personal are blurred and Eden is torn between the story that could secure her position with her newspaper and the man she has come to love.
I enjoyed Nash and Eden's characters very much. Nash is the damaged and broody hero that brings all those nurturing instincts to life and Eden is perfect for him because she is a fixer and caretaker. Her fixing skills are not limited to Nash, but spread to the women she's become close friends with as a result of her investigation.
A BILLIONAIRE AFTER DARK comes with lots of fun dialogue and hilarious moments, as well as a cast of endearing secondary characters caught in very entertaining situations. It's a lighthearted, sweet and very enjoyable.
While it does not affect my enjoyment of this story, my minor quibble is that the many side secondary characters and their antics took some of the focus away from Eden and Nash's romance such that some of their story, especially Nash's past and the issues that made him so damaged got only a cursory touch where they could have benefited from more attention.

Okay, I was a little worry about reading a reporter heroine. Here's why: Sometimes they tend to be ballbusters, and I will take anyone down to get a story. Then you meet Eden Huckabee, and she totally reminded me of Drew Barrymore's Josie Gellar in Never Been Kiss. So, A Billionaire After Dark is kind of like Never Been Kiss where we have a journalist going undercover to find her perfect story. Eden like Josie tends to get too close to her project in the journalist prospective lost sight of it, but actually gained more. Time to focus on Eden and Nash.
At first I thought I wasn't going to like Eden, because of the whole reporter thing, but the more you get to know her, she's not reporter material. Like I said she gets a little to close to her subjects and uses flowery words instead of getting straight to her facts. However, she's tenacious and will go after what she thinks she wants even though it might be totally wrong. Now Nash. He's the charming Beaumont that women just through themselves at. However, he has a dark secret that he keeps secret. His brothers only know a little. Even though his kink isn't all that kinky. Like all Beaumonts he does have a good heart just a little misguided at times, especially when Nash has to come face to face with his past.
As I started to dive into A Billionaire After Dark I started enjoyed Nash and Eden. Eden is a funny character, because she's so unlike her family. I mean her grandparents are the nudist from the first book. Those grandparents, oh poor Eden. Her grandparents are definitely hippies with their magic brownies and keep her on her toes, especially at Lover's Ball. I did like Eden, because once she got to know Nash, Chloe, and Madison she wanted to be their friend more than the story. I did like how she helped Nash realize he's not the only that caused the issue in the past. Overall, a pretty good story and I can't wait to see what happens to Grayson and Chloe. He's not going to have an easy time with that girl.

Too bad her editor doesn’t seem to think so. Except Nate gets to Eden, big time, and it gets harder and harder for her to remember what it is she’s doing with him as the nights go on…
Good Lord, but I loved this book. The concept alone had me salivating, but then when I started reading it? Whew boy! Nash Beaumont is something to witness. Everything about him screams he knows what to do with a woman, and his words? Gah! The man is hot as hell and his scenes with Eden steam up the pages something fierce.
There’s just something about a man with a dark and kinky side, one who is so determined to control his desires and yet can’t seem to control them much at all, particularly when it comes to the heroine and her ability to tempt him beyond reason. And that’s exactly what Nash is learning with Eden. He is so desperate not to repeat his past mistakes that he’s gone to the other end of the spectrum with his desires, and Eden is the one woman who makes him want to break his own vows and follow his needs—and heart—instead.
If you love hot, sexy, contemporary romance stories, pick up a copy of A Billionaire After Dark by Katie Lane. Once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. The story and writing flowed so well, and the characterization is top notch.

This book can be read as a stand alone however I think you'll understand Nash a little bit more if you've read A BILLIONAIRE BETWEEN THE SHEETS (a great read as well). A BILLIONAIRE AFTER DARK is Nash Beaumont's story, and oh what a story! First off you have a hot guy who's still struggling with events from his past and now he's rich! Then you have Eden who honestly is still trying to figure herself out even if she doesn't know that. I loved watching these two fall in love. Their road to HEA is both hot, and sigh worthy and at the same time it's so very touching. Especially watching Nash come to terms with his past, which I won't go into. I very much loved learning a bit more about Nash. And we get to see a little more of Grayson, Nash's younger brother. Be warned you'll fall in love with these three Beaumont brothers! You won't be able to help yourself. A BILLIONAIRE AFTER DARK is a perfect read! It's hot, it's quick paced, it's easy to read and it has hot guys........what more could you want? Oh it has a great setting, well written, realistic characters and a story that keeps you engaged til the end. This is one of those stay up all night, hate to see it end reads. So be warned! I really enjoyed both characters in this book. Eden’s grandparents are an absolute hoot and I just couldn’t get enough of the quirky antics. Even though this book is the second installment in the series it can be read as a stand alone. I know I will personally be going back to read the first book from this series immediately!

Who can resist a sexy, hot hunk like Nash Beaumont? Certainly not me. I have been looking forward to finding out more about Nash since I met him in the first book of this series, A Billionaire Between the Sheets. I'm not surprised to find that Nash is a more complicated character than he appeared in the last book. Boy does Nash ever have quite the story to tell! Enter Eden Huckabee, wanna-be investigative reporter, mix the two together and voila! you have instant chemistry, a poignant scene or two, a mini disaster or two and then yes, finally, a HEA for Nash and Eden.
Along the way I got to catch up on Deacon and Olivia Beaumont from book one, Mimi and Pops Huckabee, Jason and Kelly and also got a glimpse of the woman who will take on the third brother, Grayson Beaumont.
I was totally enchanted with this story as the author, Katie Lane once again provided me with her usual fun storyline and well-developed characters who have their flaws and challenges but manage to overcome adversity while entertaining me and making me wish I was living in their world so I could get to know them personally. I also got to once again experience the humorous and charming quirky characters I have come to expect and love to read about in a Katie Lane story. Katie always does "quirky" exceptionally well.
All in all this is a super fun, yet sensually romantic read. I loved it and I am sure you will too!

Nash Beaumont is the sexiest of the Beaumont brothers and co-owner of a lingerie company. He has charisma but also a dark, kinky side, which he struggles to control. This kinky side may end up being exposed by one determined lady!
Reporter Eden Huckabee never gives up and she needs a great story to keep her job at the newspaper. She decides to go after Nash Beaumont. What she doesn’t count on is he isn’t who he pretends to be or that she will fall head over heels with this man who she realizes she can’t live without.
I loved Nash’s character because he was such an alpha but deep down had some secrets that make your heart hurt for him. He is so alone and hurting but tries to keep it hidden from those he cares about. When Eden comes charging into his life he doesn’t know what to make of her or his feelings for her. Eden is a strong character but also is a woman who you can get behind and cheer for. I loved how everything came together and the pure romance of it all.
Loved this book by Katie Lane and will be looking for the other two Beaumont brothers and their stories to happy ever after!

"A Billionaire After Dark" by Katie Lane is book two in the "Overnight Billionaires" series. This can be read as a standalone but I recommend that you read book one "A Billionaire Between the Sheets". This is Nash Beaumont and Eden Huckabee's story. Another winner by Katie Lane!
Nash is the best looking of the three Beaumont brothers but he has a side to him that he doesn't want anyone to know about. Eden is trying to make it as a reporter. She discovers Nash's secret hoping this could be her ticket to be considered as a serious reporter.
As Eden and Nash get to know each other it becomes more personal than professional. This is where their relationship really heats up.
I just love the Beaumont brothers series and couldn't put this one down either. There is humor, twists and turns, and hot steamy scenes. I loved that each brother has his own unique personality. The supporting characters are a great addition to the story too. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is my first book written by Katie Lane, and I really enjoyed it. The storyline is funny, sexy, intriguing and it definitely held my attention. I absolutely adore Eden! She is the kind of girl you want to be friends with. I loved her grandparents too! Omg, I was cracking up about their magic brownies:) Then there are the panty billionaires, Nash, Deacon & Grayson. They were dirt poor as children and then their rich uncle passed away and they inherited a lingerie company. Their world changed in many ways. Not only are they all equally handsome but rich too. This story is with Nash & Eden. Nash has a secret that he has kept hidden. No woman knows about his secret past time, until the very determined and outspoken Eden comes into the picture. And, Eden meets him under false pretenses. So, it's a fun, sexy story that will have a smile on your face. Anyway, I really loved this book and will definitely read more from this author.

To put it simply, I fell in love with this book. Nash is a sexy billionaire who owns a lingerie store, which I found to be incredibly fitting. Not to mention convenient *wink*. One of the things I enjoyed about this one was the fact that it had little plot twists here and there that the reader never sees coming. It was all a lot more than I expected while going into the story but it was absolutely worth it. I loved the writing style and the chemistry between Nash (I kind of swoon every time I hear his name) and Eden was undeniable and would have the reader needing a cold shower every now and then. I can't wait to read more from this author!
