This book contains translations with introductions to some of Sattler's known works and ones that have been attributed to him. They give us a glance into one of the early leaders among the Anabaptists. While the translations are now a bit dated, they still provide helpful insight into Sattler's main emphases. Obviously, discipline and baptism are key themes in the texts included here, although Sattler addressed other issues including divorce and hermeneutics. This remains a valuable collection for those interested in early Anabaptism and its legacy.
