Why do I love this three book series so much? It's MC but not gross, ott, MC behavior. It's alpha but with a sensitivity. It's a fmc who doesn't fit into the club, and doesn't try.
This story is about a man who finds a women he wants to spend the rest of his days with, knows she's off limits for a year, and makes the decision TO BE CELIBATE FOR A YEAR while he waits for her. I can't with that kind of mature devotion.
The stories aren't perfect but I felt the five star was warranted after rereading this series so many times.

That sincere sweetness is what I have been looking for my whole damn life.Hope is just herself and Rock loves that about her.

This box set is a must read! This series is a unique MC ROMANCE with its complex characters and true romance. Although there is a plethora of hot biker dudes and action to keep you entertained, it is the love between Rock and Hope that will keep you coming back for more! Overall, this series is a beautiful read full of steam, romance, and hot bikers. I cannot say enough about the complex characters and beautiful romance in this series! Get your KINDLE stocked up now!!!

Fabulous Collection.
I love MC books and I'm always on the lookout for new ones and the books in this collection were such a surprise, I loved the first one 'Slow Burn' and the second 'Corrupting Cinderella' but then they got even better with 'Strength from Loyalty' and although it's not in this collection the forth book 'Tattered on my Sleeve'
Slow Burn - 4 stars
Rochlan 'Rock' North is the president of the Lost Kings MC, he's a good president who runs a good club, he always puts the club first after all it's his family but the first time he sees Hope he's gone, he knows she's the one for him and after the life he's led the irony that's she's married is not lost on him.
The synopsis for this book is good so there's no point giving my usual summary I'll just let you know how I feel about it.
This is a very tame MC read and while I normally prefer mine a little gritty this worked for me, it's ultimately a romance and while there's the initial 'insta' attraction it's not rushed, we're allowed time to get to know the characters and get a feel for them and their personalities.
Both Rock and Hope are interesting, intelligent and likeable, there's no TSTL moments or silly misunderstandings that lead on to yet more misunderstandings, you know what I mean.
Rock is thoughtful and kind, he's not afraid to show how he feels and I loved that he treats women with respect, all women, he's old enough to be comfortable in his own skin and he is.
This book held me from the first page to the last although the ending was a bit of a non-ending this is the first book in this series and their story continues on in 'Corrupting Cinderella' which I'm starting as soon as I've finished this review.
So on the whole I loved this book but then I love romance and this is in my opinion a very good romance.
It also has some very strong secondary characters which should make the future books interesting, looks like this could be a very good series.
Why 4 stars and not 5....it's told in the first person plus Rock and Hope and while I love dual POVs it wasn't always clear who's POV we were getting it would have worked so much better, for me anyway just to have had the name at the side.
Corrupting Cinderella - 4 stars
In this, the second book in this series Hope struggles with Rocks world, it's all new to her not only doesn't she know where she stands she doesn't even know the rules of the game but Rock is behind her every step of the way, protecting and helping when he can, even when she doesn't realise or want it, but Rock's not always going to be there and Hope is going to have to find her place in the club if there's any chance at all for the two of them.
Not only does Hope have to find her way in Rocks life amongst the club girls and bikers but she's not used to having a partner who keeps secrets from her, club business is club business and this is difficult for her, she's independent and headstrong but she has a big heart, the question is will this heart ease her way into his 'family' or will it break under the misunderstandings.
Could Rock be the perfect male? he's hot, of course but he's also honest, loyal and faithful and he loves and isn't afraid to show how much he cares and this is so much more refreshing than I expected. The job of introducing Hope into his life is not an easy one and he takes it one step at a time, never lying to her and it can't be easy for him especially when the past keeps jumping up.
My only complaint is that Hope started to annoy me a bit towards the end of the book, I got a little fed up of her running away every time something came up that she didn't like, she's a lawyer and should therefore understand that communication helps, I know it's difficult since at times she feels out of her depth but it's the main reason for the 4 and not 5 star rating.
This is a great book, a beautiful romance, a continuation of their story and like the previous book there's no 'end' as such but also no cliffhanger it just leaves it open for the next book leaving us to decide if we want to continue with them on their journey together or leave them to it.
Strength from Loyalty - 5 stars
Rock and Hope...where do I start, over the past 5 days I've read their story, at first I wasn't sure what to expect I generally like my MC books dark and gritty, or do I? Was it just that that's what I'd come to expect or did I just appreciate the variety.
And this is different, it's very much an MC but it's an MC with heart. It's a romance, a strong believable romance with very 'real' characters, flaws and all, although not too many where Rock's concerned.
It's hard not to fall in love with these two, well not just Rock and Hope there's a whole host of interesting well written characters to love, but back to the main two...
Rock, I questioned in one of my reviews if Rock was the perfect man, he's hot, intelligent, has a huge heart and he loves Hope with all that heart and I always love a man who loves so deeply.
Hope, I really liked, well most of the time, nearly all the time really it was just the running at the first sign of trouble that got to me after awhile, I wanted to glue that girl to her seat at times.
Their relationship was filled with passion, sex and friendship but also despair, loss and understanding... I did mention sex didn't I, lots of it.
This is a very emotional read and there's some difficult scenes in here but they're incredibly well written and my 5 star rating is for them more than anything else.
This series has been so much more than just these two, I love Wrath and Trinity and I can't wait for their book, both are complex characters with interesting pasts, also Z and Lilly and what about Heidi, Axel and Murphy? I was team Murphy all the way but now I'm wavering, Axel is a great kid.....oh! I know it's going to be Murphy, it's always been Murphy (well in my opinion anyway) but I can't wait for the ride to get there.

This is an amazing thing the author put together! I love the Lost Kings MC series, so having the first three books packaged together was fantastic in and of itself. But included with Slow Burn, Corrupting Cinderella and Strength From Loyalty are a bunch of extras! Two character interviews that were very funny and provided a lot of insight into Hope and Rock.
But my favorite and what made this absolutely worth every penny are the two new bonus scenes that were included. They're short, but so good!
#teamheidimurphy lovers won't want to miss this!
There are also excerpts from two of my other favorite authors Bink Cummings and Phoenyx Slaughter as well as a new to me author Sapphire Knight.

Slow Burn - The first book in the Lost Kings series had me chuckling off and on throughout the book. This isn't your average MC written style books. There is a softer, more gentle side to this one. The style is still clearly MC style writing. The way Autumn Jones Lake has written this book keeps you entertained and on your feet. From a young lawyer who is asked 'by the judge' to handle a Criminal Case and she is not a criminal attorney, to the MC member who she is to represent on a small misdomeaner charge, to the death of a loved one, the mourning period, to the way that a new relationship picks up and how it affects the MC member and those around him. Can he keep his life seperate from this cute little attorney, who wants to know what happened every time he comes home scraped up, or why he's wearing guns and kevlar? Can he bring her into his world without corrupting her? You will have to read the book to find out.
Corrupting Cinderella - This is the second book of the Lost Kings series. What is in store next for Hope & Rock? In book Two, Hope and Rock continue their little keep away from each other game, until tragedy hits close to home for one of them. This finds the other back in their court, on their turf. Who has what happen? Will these two ever become a couple? Will the tragedy be too much? What happens when friends step in to bring attention to the fact that the one is not doing well, mentally and physically after the tragedy. Sneaky friends like that are hard to come by when they set things up. When going to a fight to support a member of the Lost Kings, they're followed leaving the fight area. What happens to all the guys when the SUV catches up to them? Is it a rival club? If so, which one...Read to see how things change and what things change between Hope and Rock and the club members in general.

What happens when Rock has to go on a run to visit one of the southern houses? Does he make good on a promise to take Hope on a run? Rock and Hope to continue in their struggles, but this book truly gets into the grit of what goes on with Hope, in her mind, in her life, in her feelings, and in her past. She opens up to Rock finally, cementing their relationship just by telling him the things that she didn't think he wanted to know. I'm so head over heels in love with Rock at this point, it is a shame their trilogy is done for the time being. I hope that Autumn picks up where they left off in the future. Does the home get finished? Do they have the wedding? Does her mom show up? Do they finally have a baby either naturally or through adoption? But I am very excited to move on to Wrath and Trinity's story arc with book four.

I already have the first three books in the Lost Kings series, but it's nice to have them all in one space. Plus, this was a great deal. The author added bonus material that isn't available anywhere else including two never before scenes. Those scenes alone are worth grabbing Road to Royalty! Trust me, you don't want to miss Wrath teaching Hope how to use a gun!
I can't say enough good things about this series. It's not a heavy, dirty motorcycle club series. It's a must have for any true Romance Reader!

I love Rock & Hope but when you do a back-to-back read of these 3 books there’s a couple of pet peeves creeping in. Still not enough for me to rate this less. This series is my absolute fave MC romance series.

OMG!!! If the first three books in this series weren't amazing enough...you get the added bonus scenes as well...and what a treat the Lost Kings MC books are to read.
This was one smart, well-written and wonderful series...I like a lot of maturity and intelligence in my biker books. Just because the genre is flooded with what I would term as "sensationalized biker porn" filled with insta-sex hook-ups, violent and torturous club wars and badass alpha males treating all the women like "bitches" doesn't mean they are all like that...and thank God for this new addition to my library because it was awesome!
I just loved the maturity and frankness of Slow Burn and Corrupting Cinderella...after all, when you mix two people who are on opposites sides of the law, it is going to be a wild and dangerous ride (to say the least) to get them to a "happily ever after" for sure!
Strength from Loyalty explores all types of loyalty...in all forms...from family (blood and one made of your choosing) to relationships (between a man and woman) to business...and the strength it takes to make those relationships thrive and prosper.
This entire series so far has been incredible...well written, deeply moving stories with a lot of thought given to plot details and the added scenes were just the extra icing on the cake!

I've had this boxset on my TBR for sometime and since she is an author I will have the opportunity to meet at a signing this summer, I decided to give it a go. I'm very picky when it comes to MC books, and knew going in after reading a few reviews that this wasn't a "gritty" read. I really enjoyed Rock and Hopes story and couldn't put this book down! Once I started book one, I just continued on thru book 3 (which is not the norm for me). When I finished the book, I couldn't believe how lost in the pages I got.
I loved the main H, Rock, who was an Alpha with a sensitive side and knew what he wanted. He didn't give up on Hope even after her repeated attempts at leaving (which did get a tad annoying). Also there was no OW drama between the main characters which was nice.
I really enjoyed this series and cant wait to dive in to Wrath & Trinity book.

If the “Bonus Content” in this book is the fake interviews with Hope and Rock, they’re not worth it. They’re inane and offer nothing to the understanding of these 2 main characters. It’s just reiterating what’s happened within the story. Waste of time.
There are two bonus scenes at the end that had been edited out of the books. I felt the detail was lacking in those scenes. We get one of Wrath teaching Hope to shoot and it’s all very vague. Then there’s a Murphy/Heidi/Alex scene. I’m super curious about their whole story!

Slow Burn (Lost Kings MC, Book 1) on GR check
What I liked about this book is that it wasn't insta-love, it wasn't insta-hookup; it was definitely insta-lust yes, but the story got chance to develop and things happened, before any of the romance started. Written in a way that it seems like you are being told a "this is how we got together" type story, Slow Burn is the story of Hope and Rochlan/Rock.
I really enjoyed it, I thought the way Rock "kept an eye on her" was quite amusing, especially his inner thoughts while doing it. I want to say how I really feel about things that he did, but if I do it will be huge spoilers, so I'm just going to say that I liked what he did, how he did it, and why he did it. I just liked him basically, lol.
Hope; she had a whole ton of bad stuff dumped on her, and while I'd like to think I wouldn't react the same way, I think her way of dealing was completely understandable and Autumn Jones Lake wrote it well.
I'm looking forward to seeing where his series goes and which other character's will get a book. A very good start to the series I think, and I give Slow Burn 4.5 stars.

Things don't go too smoothly though, when not only do the club girls give her a hard time, but Rock's best friend Wrath, appears to be intent on driving her away. These two certainly don't have a smooth ride into their life together.
After Hope gets into a sticky situation, Rock realises just how much she means to him, but once again, his overprotective instincts may end up driving her away.
I enjoyed this second instalment in the Lost Kings MC series. It wasn't all smooth sailing and I like that she didn't just give into him like a lot of the women do in these types of novels. I know his book isn't next but I'm looking forward to reading Wrath's story because we got to see a whole other side of him in this book. I give Corrupting Cinderella 4.5 stars.

Things are moving along quite smoothly, until not only does Hope suffer a life threatening situation, but she also runs into someone from Hope's past, who has her doubting everything she is doing, and driving a wedge between her and Rock.
This was a good ending to their arc I think. The doubts, and trials were there but they worked through it. I've enjoyed this series so far and I can't wait to get into Wrath's story next and am looking forward to seeing what happens with Murphy and Z too. Strength from Loyalty get 4.5 stars.

A good foundation.
The overall intro the world is good and some fab characters. Hope, being such a drama lama, drove me bananas just, wanted to shake her, almost caused a dnf but want so see how other stories pan out.

The Road to Royalty: Lost Kings MC Box Set, is fabulous value for money. I had previously read the first book in this compilation Slow Burn, and absolutely loved it. Unlike many MC series where each book contains the story of a different member of the MC, Autumn Jones Lake has crafted each book to continue the love story of the hero and heroine this series revolves around - Rock and Hope.
The characters in this book are interesting and engaging, the books are extremely well written.
This series is a bit of an opposites attract Rochlan North, is the MC President of the Lost Kings MC, and Hope is a lawyer. They don't have an easy path to finding their happiness. The twists and turns within this series kept me enthralled.
I love that many of the members of the MC appear in each book and even though they are not the main characters we experience their story as well.
Although this series is not as gritty as some MC reads, I was completely engaged and enthralled with each individual book. I loved the bonus content as well. This series has a great mix of romance, heat, humor and angst with a bit of suspense as well. I look forward to reading more books by Autumn Jones Lake in the future.

It's a different type of MC book, a little bit softer, but don't don't let that description give you the wrong impression. The Lost Kings MC and their President, Rock, are hard, dirty talking, sexy outlaws. I think I read the term "romanticized MC" which I think is very accurate. This 3 book series is Rock and Hope's story. Rock is the MC president and ends himself in a bit of trouble where Hope, an attorney, ends up representing him. Of course, there is this instant attraction, but due to circumstances, it takes years for these 2 to get together and even the road after that is a very bumpy one. While their story by itself will draw you in,it's all the other characters that make this really great. It doesn't feel like I just read a 3 book series, it's more like I just watched a movie. I feel like I know these characters and I do not want the story to ever end. Luckily there are 2 other books in the series already out, so I don't have to say goodbye to my Lost Kings yet. Loved the bonus material in this box set. I won a copy of this book during a giveaway and had to leave my honest review.

Wow what can I say about this box set.
It is simply amazing to see a different way into Motorcycle club, this had a twist of a romance instead of the brute force.
We meet Hope, who is a lawyer who works in family law. She is married to Clay who she has been with for years. But her world gets turned upside down when she has to help a case at court for Rock. Who is simply sexy, naughty biker. She knew he could be dangerous for her but knew she couldn't help feelings.
We meet Rock, who is President of Lost Kings MC. He has his share of woman he can sleep with from his club and also from the strip club he owns. But everything changes for him when he walks into court and she's the lawyer who is in there and asks her to represent him. His world gets flipped upside down but knew one day she would be his.
This story gets your emotions running. I read this in one day. It is slow build up to a relationship. But you follow their ups and downs for Hope to transion into MC life. WTMO

We meet Rock, who is President of Lost Kings MC. He has his share of woman he can sleep with from his club and also from the strip club he owns. But everything changes for him when he walks into court and she's the lawyer who is in there and asks her to represent him. His world gets flipped upside down but knew one day she would be his.
This story gets your emotions running. I read this in one day. It is slow build up to a relationship. But you follow their ups and downs for Hope to transion into MC life. WTMO

Wow! I'll admit I wanted more to the ending but the journey there was...WOW! I loved this book, I couldn't put it down! I would stay up so late reading that I had book hangovers for a couple of days! Lol. I finished this box set in 3 days and that's only because I had to take breaks in between to go to work, take care of my family, etc. or else I would have finished this series in one sitting! I can't wait for the other books to be released!

Usually not my cup of tea but...
Caught this on Amazon for free one day. It’s a little ridiculous. And over the top. But I enjoyed it all the same. I do like reading books when the couple is in an established relationship, something that doesn’t happen often because usually books end at the happily ever after. Even though it’s probably considered boring by most people it’s nice to get the after part once in a while.

I found an excerpt for this book at the back of an MC by another author that I love. I'd never heard of this Series before that. I got sucked right into the Lost Kings that I finished ALL of the books currently available, before I stopped to write a review. This is an excellent romance series, without too much of the hardcore MC stuff that appeals to some. I really enjoyed this Series!
