Four episodes. One Reckless Affair. And a Secret that’s about to change EVERYTHING.
Khyori came to Atlanta for six weeks of summer fun with her cousin, Tahli. No responsibilities. No expectations. And definitely no plans to get caught up with a man like Khosen.
Rich, dangerous, and used to getting exactly what he wants, Khosen turns one reckless night into a summer neither of them is prepared to forget. What was supposed to be temporary gets real fast when late nights turn into feelings—and suddenly, six weeks doesn’t feel nearly long enough.
But summer has an expiration date.
Khyori returns to Dallas believing she left Khosen and their unforgettable summer behind. She didn’t.
Because some consequences follow you home… and Khyori is about to discover she didn’t leave Atlanta empty-handed.
Khyori and her cousin Tahli head from Dallas to Atlanta for the summer, where they meet Khosen and his friend. What starts out as a summer situation slowly becomes something more, especially between Khyori and Khosen.
I really enjoyed their chemistry and watching their relationship develop. The pacing made this super easy to fly through, and I never felt like the story was dragging.
This was exactly the kind of read I needed—entertaining, easy to get into, and enough drama and romance to keep me turning the pages.
And THEN came that ending. 👀
Baby, I'm not even taking a break between books. I'm going straight into Episode Two because now I need to know what happens next! 😂
This was a quick moving book and I enjoyed it!!!… I love how Tahli and Khyori decided to do something different for their summer and lives with no regrets!!… To be young and free to enjoy life on a whim and still take care of business!!!… I lived vicariously through them, because it was a ride to be enjoyed!!!…Summer fun and Summer love!!!… Then to add 2 handsome men to the adventure, made the trip worth while!!!…
That was a cute book. Khosen definitely had a liken when it came to Khyori. From the moment he saw her at the party. I also enjoyed Draevyn and Tahli situation. The entire book was a bout their summer. Didn’t get to the good part until the last few pages.
It's kind of hard to rate a book that gave you nothing to me
I don't know if it's prolonging the read for a series. I like the chemistry that these two couple shared, but it gave us me not us a cool friend between male and female. They would not go past the summer 🙄 😒 😑 😐 who's the lady Khosen was talking too when she expressed , he didn't have time for her.....
It’s always those vacations that catch you lacking lol. My girl said, I’m leaving here with something lol. Idk who that was on the phone, but if two plus two equals four, my girl better dog em for sure! Episode two me please.
Good read but this could have easily been one book. I hope she not about to sit up and hide this pregnancy from Khosen after spending the whole summer with him.
Okay so end the book right as we are getting some tea but something in me(and the prior reviews I read) tell me something even juicier is about to happen. On to the next and can’t wait.
The first book was great I felt like the author eventually began to reuse story lines and all the intimate scenes were receptive for two of the couples. But the fun girls trip came off super exciting.
Good start! I enjoyed all the characters, especially the FMCs. Kyori was definitely my favorite because baby, she said whatever was on her mind. I loved that about her.
Now, the only things I didn’t like were Khosen’s ugly ass name along with the spelling. Then the formatting. Some of these pages were literally full of one-liners. Like:
What’s up
Nothing
What you up to
Chilling
Just a whole page of that! If the dialogue was formatted properly instead of taking up so much unnecessary space, this book would be way shorter than 154 pages. Other than that, I enjoyed the story. It was a good start, and I’m interested in seeing where things go.
