Dan is very surprised to wake in the hospital. And to hear Stacey tell him that it was John who took him there.

When he gets out, they become like a sensei and pupil, with John showing Dan some hand-to-hand combat and how to ride a normal motorbike.

Then there was a part where Dan’s mum gets swept up in some religious culty thing.
Where the Hobgoblin crashes the meeting!

And then, Spider-Man shows up!

Who stops Ghost Rider from seeking vengeance, which he is NOT happy about.

As the flaming rider follows the demonic villain, Spidey tells John they are going to stop them.

Side note: I really like the cover, how you can see Hobgoblin in the bike's reflection.
Even though Spidey's only in this for about two pages…
