I'm just not sure where to go with this. I understood the story for the first half or so... and then the twist just happened so rapidly and so out of nowhere that I had trouble making sense of it. It was explained better as the story went on. Flashbacks helped to make everything make more sense, but I still felt like it was too much of a switch. It did have some wickedly hot sex scenes, but it also had some pretty gross sex scenes too--one in particular that I absolutely detest to read about. In the end, it was that one scene that tipped it for me from a three to a two.

" Wicked" was wickedly good! I could not put this book down I read it in a few short hours !
Parker and Kade; twin brothers raised by their father alone after their mother dies in childbirth but when they were in their. Teens their father remarried and they get a beautiful little stepsister , Lily. Lily and Parker form an instant bond, always together and the best of freinds, however Kade and Lily never quite bond the same way.
Years later the relationship is much the same , Parker always there to support her and Kade is distant , Kade has figured out why he was always uncomfortable around Lily and still is, it is hard to be in love with your stepsister when your not supposed to feel that way.
To say Kade and Lily's relationship is strained is putting it simply, but it becomes even more s o when the boy's father passes Then shortly after they loose Lily's mom to breast cancer. Everything goes to hell then, the company that their father and her mother built somehow gets left to Lily only, the boys are forced by lawyers from this family home and to spite Lily trying to include them , most of the money is tied up in the company .
Parker and Kade's resentment of Lily grows and one drunken night Kade comes up with the idea to seduce Lily, marry her and then divorce getting the half they should of had all along, for Kade a sober mind regrets ever having the thought because his heart still wants Lily, he never stopped loving her!
Parker however , once he gets something in his head, it is all engines ahead full Parker uses his closeness from the last with Lily to get back together with her , but Kade still keeps his distance, well until she asks him to kiss her that is, it turns out Lily has always had a crush on Kade too!
Kade can't bring himself to tell Parker and he has no intention of going through with his original plan , but Parker begins to get more and more agitated with Lily because suddenly she has no time for him, he has no idea it is because Lily and Kade ar dating, and when he finds out Parker becomes unglued, physically and mentally; at this point the book takes a dark turn. Not only are you dealing with a rift between twin brothers , but Parker is fixated on revenge, thoughts of killing his brother and then claiming Lily for his own.
The author takes you through twist and turns and the dark thoughts and actions of Parker , she has you sitting in the edge for the rest of the book to see what will happen and if Kade and Lily , can make a go of a relationship and survive Parkers plotting!
Absolutely intense read, be prepared to loose a few hours because their is no putting this book down!

***A gifted copy was provided by the author for my honest review****

This story is very disturbing yet addicting. Words are hard to explain my reaction yet it kept drawing me back in. Addictive is one word I keep going back to .

Lily Ford has two step brothers and she loves them both yet they are dangerous to her heath- one loves her and the other one is out to hurt her, badly. Kade & Parker are identical twin brothers and they have this family with a step mom and Lily. Suddenly one day, the dad dies and then soon after Lily’s mom dies.

There is a tangled web woven and you get the impression that Kade didn’t like Lily; Parker and Lily got along so much like a house on fire. Couple years down the road , Parker is always there for Lily and Kade can’t be bothered to be around Lily and the reader sees the reason why- it’s because he is in love with is stepsister. There is something building and its evil like- Because the parents died, the company they built is left to Lily only and this has left a festering wound and after a night of heavy drinking, Parker comes up with something to hurt Lily, and Kade seems to agree, where they do something vindictive and nasty. The next morning, Kade seemed to want to back off but Parker was really crazy acting and wanted to go full steam ahead. Parker uses all he has to get super close to Lily and ply her , making her think he “loved her” when he really didn’t. This part really hurt my heart and I was yelling at my Kindle-yelling at Lily to run away from this mess but didn’t happen. Kade did try to intervene and it seems there is some sparks there and he tried to get Lily away…but Parker is slowly losing his grasp on reality on Fruit Loop at a time..as a reader, you can see him just starting to go unbalanced when she realizes that she has more feelings for Kade and cannot be there for Parker and that is when things go south . Then this is where I say folks, fruit loops have nothing on this Parker –think of the song by Eminem “The Monster” well Em said it best “You're trying to save me, stop holding your breath/you think I'm crazy, yeah/Well, that's nothing/I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed/Get along with the voices inside of my head…” I mean, this is what we start to see, a mentally unbalanced man who is crazy who is doing horrible things and will start doing horrible things to keep what he perceives as his . I do not want to give any spoilers away-let’s just say I’m surprised no one realized how sick Parker was mentally before now.

There are so many surprising twists and turns before the ending of this book. I had to stop several times to take a breath. I will admit at first I rooted for Parker then by the end of the book, I was thanking the author for making Kade the hero of this story for Lily. Do they end up with their HEA? Only you will know why reading this fantastic story. It is very much worth it to read this fantabulous story of how good vs evil…and who ultimately wins.

This book is dark and dangerous.
I originally thought I didn't like Kade and I liked Parker, boy was I wrong. The man is a complete nutter.
I liked the story and it was very different to your standard fare when it comes to step brother romances.

I was expecting it to go one way and have a totally different ending to how it finished.

Not going to spoil this for you as I hate reviews that tell you the whole story.

What I will say is that the way this has been written, the menace seeps through every page even when Kade and Lily are on their own the suspense waiting for something to happen is ever present. I read this in one sitting 1 hour 20 as I kept turning the page as I wanted to know how it ends.

The fear that was rolling off Lily was believable and the description throughout the book is eerie.

All in all a good read.

Received ARC for an honest review.

I started this book not really knowing what DARK romance referred to, but I soon found out. I really liked the book. It was definitely a suspenseful thriller, which I wasn't expecting. The triangle between Lily, Kade and Parker at first had my total attention and was amazing. Later in the book, I was team Kade all the way and just wanted these characters to find some happiness in the book. Reading Wicked will keep you in your toes and trying to guess where the author will take you next.

Definitely worth the read. I gave it 4 stars. Great characters and a storyline that I haven't run across before. If you like suspense, thrillers, romance and just a well written book, then you'll want to read it.

Was lucky enough to get this as an arc for an honest review. Wow, this book kept me on the edge of my seat. Just when you think you have these twin brothers figured out...bam...you get blindsided. Threw me for a loop. A few times. I like how you get to read the book from all their points of view...very interesting. Would definitely recommend this one & am looking forward to read any more by this author. Good job.

Wow brat read

The story is full of suspense and some romance. It's about twin brothers and their step sister. The reason I said suspense is because one twin is good and the other insane. Even when his twin and step sister offer to get him help he runs. Can't say more as it will give the plot away. Worth the read.
