When the smoke clears, Nyssa finds herself somewhere far worse than the place she thought she had escaped.
Enduring is instinct.
Remaining herself is war.
As Nyssa fights to hold on to the fragments of the woman she once was, the line between reality and manipulation begins to disappear. Memories become weapons. Familiar faces become strangers. And every answer she uncovers seems to lead to something far more terrifying than the question itself.
Somewhere beyond the walls, Isaac is waiting.
Or perhaps he isn’t.
Nyssa no longer knows who is fighting for her, who has betrayed her, or whether the man she loves is even alive.
She only knows she has to find him.
Because if Isaac is still out there, she will find him.
Even if it costs her everything.
Even if there is nothing left of herself to bring back.
I finished Bleed For You, stared at my Kindle, contemplated starting another book... and quickly realized that was adorable of me. Because apparently my brain still lives here. I am not ready to move on.
Full disclosure: Chastin is my soul sister and one of my absolute favorite people on this earth. So yes, I went into this wanting her to knock it out of the park. But nearly a year ago, before I was lucky enough to call her my best friend, I was just some feral reader in her messages fangirling over Bleed Into You. Bias acknowledged, she still went and wrote exactly the kind of book I would lose my ever loving mind over anyway.
And lose it I did.
Bleed For You asks what remains yours when almost everything can be taken from you: your freedom, your choices, your body, even your perception of yourself, and then makes you watch these characters fight like hell to hold onto whatever pieces remain.
Nyssa absolutely broke my heart. Her survival isn't clean or pretty. She adapts. She endures. She complies when compliance means living long enough to fight another day. Her body can be forced to yield while some tiny, furious piece of her remains entirely her own.
She isn't powerful because nothing can break her. She's powerful because things do break her, and she keeps fucking surviving anyway.
Then there's Ezrin.
I loved this man in Bleed Into You, but apparently that wasn't enough because this time he wrung my heart out like a damn sweat towel. His love costs him something. Again and again, he's willing to make himself the price if it means protecting the people he loves. The sacrifice, anguish, and tenderness in this man absolutely brought me to my knees.
And then.
ISSAC.
My literary narcotic.
I was obsessed with this man from day one, and apparently I've learned nothing.
Because if you're dishing out men coming completely undone for the women they love, I'm sitting at the table with a fork in each hand screaming FEED ME.
Give me devotion so absolute that self-preservation becomes irrelevant. Give me a man willing to crawl, bleed, break, or drag every chain behind him if that's what it takes to reach her. There were moments where I was quite literally holding my Kindle in one hand and clutching the front of my shirt with the other.
Inject it directly into my bloodstream.
Apparently my preferred form of fictional torment is watching people love each other so fiercely that they're willing to be ruined by it. Chastin dishes it out, and I show up with a fucking plate. Every. Single. Time.
But underneath all that deliciously ruinous devotion is what affected me most about this story: these characters love through endurance. They carry things for one another. They sacrifice pieces of themselves trying to spare someone they love. Their bodies become battlegrounds, their choices become impossible, and somehow they continue choosing each other.
And then came that twist. 👀
No spoilers. I'll only tell you that when I say I sobbed, I mean mascara running, nose sniffling, I-can-no-longer-see-the-words crying. At one point I literally leaned forward so the tears could fall directly out of my eyes because apparently stopping to wipe my face like a functioning adult was not an option.
I. NEEDED. TO. KEEP. READING. 😭
And after emotionally beating the absolute shite out of me, Chastin had the audacity to give me that epilogue.
I'm not telling you a damn thing about it. Just know that after everything this book put me through, I needed that.
And cried again, obviously.
But this time, it felt like release.
I started this duet as a reader who couldn't shut up about a book she loved. I finished it almost a year later, somehow lucky enough to call the woman who wrote it one of my favorite people in this world. 🫶
Bias be damned, Bleed For You was everything I hoped it would be. It hurt. It healed. It gave this story the ending I desperately needed. And even after closing the book, I’m still not ready to let go.
Chastin, I hope when you look at this book, you’re as proud of yourself as I am of you. You made me care so deeply about these characters, ache alongside them, and dread having to say goodbye.
You did something really freaking incredible here. 🖤
This is easily another 5 star read - and this whole duet is ♾️ stars! This deserves so much more attention! 🖤 Chastin outdid herself & wrote a dark romance that had me in a chokehold, made me cry multiple times & left me staring at a wall after the ending. Words fail me after finishing it a few hours ago.. so bare with my review.. this was dark, heavy & emotional! Won’t go into detail of the story bc that would be near impossible without a spoiler.
𝕭𝖑𝖊𝖊𝖉 𝕱𝖔𝖗 𝖄𝖔𝖚 picks right back up where 𝐵𝑙𝑒𝑒𝑑 𝐼𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝑌𝑜𝑢 left us with a massive cliffhanger; so make sure you read book 1 first! Oh my heart breaks for Nyssa, Isaac & Ezrin! 💔 What they all had to endure, each in their own way, through the hands of a villain which I despised since her first appearance in book 1 - is so heartbreaking. You get to see what pure survival instinct & the unconditional love for your loved ones can achieve & do to people that are desperate to get out of their captivity and the torment they are forced to endure. But they never lose their hope that there possibly could be a turn in events.
All the character development/growth all of the characters esp. Nyssa is quite impressive. 𝑁𝑦𝑠𝑠𝑎 is such a downright badass FMC! Despite her situation she‘s never a damsel in distress! 𝐼𝑠𝑎𝑎𝑐, oh boy! His whole story is characterized through how he was brought up & what he was made to believe & then his total devotion & surrender for his love. 𝐸𝑧𝑟𝑖𝑛, oh 𝐸𝑧𝑟𝑖𝑛.. what this man sacrificed to keep others safe is beyond comprehension..
Oh and honorable mentions to 𝐶𝑎𝑑𝑒 & 𝐸𝑙𝑜𝑑𝑖𝑒 & 𝐿𝑎𝑐𝑒𝑦 🤭 🖤
I’m glad we get somewhat of a closure in the end but be aware it’s not quite a HEA.. so with that in mind GO & READ the 𝔅𝔩𝔢𝔢𝔡𝔦𝔫𝔤 𝔒𝔲𝔱 𝔇𝔲𝔢𝔱 now!! 🖤
I spent a solid six hours reading this book from start to finish. By the time I was done, I promptly laid down and went to sleep for 3 hours because I was so mentally and emotionally depleted. Chastin had me so on edge the entire book, between my utter hate for the villan, my love for the heros, and how badly I wanted to see justice… I don’t think I’ve had a book suck me in this hard before. Bravo to this incredibly talented author, you are THAT author: the one that gives a girl hope that there are still amazing writers out there who are capable of telling a captivating story with beautiful writing and intriguing plot twists. An auto buy for sure
Chastin you are such an amazing writer. The way this picked up so seamlessly made reading it seem like I had literally just read Book one. Hail to the Queen!!!
Ok, so, Nyssa you strong ass woman you...... Everything you have gone through is so emotional and heart wrenching. What they had planned for you. What you had to endure, witness and live with and to still hold your head high is strength ma'am. The love you have for Isaac is that deep love that reaches into your soul and never lets go. The kind everyone wants but few get. The way you fell in love may be a bit messed up to say the least but the end is worth it. The bond she formed with Ezrin is not something to glaze over either.
Ezrin, oh my heart breaks for you my friend. What you have done for Isaac and Nyssa will live on in a way that no one else could or would have done for them. That is what a brother and a protector should do. The situation could have been so much worse for them without the care and loyalty of you. What you did and gave up to protect them in the end broke me and healed me at the same time. To see "her" and lnpw what you had to do to save her. Knowing the outcome, just wow and also HOLY SHIT!!!!!
Isaac, you may have been the most feared man, but even Gods have weaknesses. Those same weaknesses also can be their greatest strength. Nyssa may have been your weakness but she also pulled you out of your head and made you want more. Better. A life worth living. She gave you a love like no other and showed you that you in fact do still have a heart, She gave you the strength to break those shackles and chains and regain the power.
All that said the take down was epic.
Nyssa - I paint everything I almost forgot I possessed. Her blood. Her suffering. Her ending. My creation. Ezrin - I kiss her one. Just once. And I let myself be her father. For one heartbeat. For one breath. For one beautiful, stolen moment. Isaac - She thinks this is the beginning. I am almost certain it is my goodbye.

This series grabbed me and I never want to let it go. It was beyond a five star read. I thought Bleed Into You was amazing but Bleed For You, will def make you bleed some of your should into these character. Feel for them, love them, safe them, and yet some you want to destroy with your bare hands over and over again.
“Would you bleed for him? Would you beg? Would you surrender?”
AMAZING! 10/10 STARS! ⭐️ I read Bleed For You in basically a day and could not get enough. Chastin kept me fully entertained and hanging onto every word. I was eating up every chapter and just could not put it down. I had to find out what happened next. Wow! This was definitely the best book I have read in a minute.
This was significantly darker than Bleed Into You so be prepared! My heart broke for Nyssa, Ezrin, and Isaac. I felt so many emotions for each of the characters in the book. Chastin’s writing was absolutely amazing in the way that you could envision almost exactly what Nyssa had to suffer through.
(I am doing by best to keep this spoiler free but there is just so much to say about what happened!!!)
Nyssa’s character development was absolutely my favorite. I went from crying for her and feeling so terrible for everything she was going through to cheering her on at the end. I was at the edge of my seat needing to find out the ending to her story. Nyssa was a badass from day one by avenging her parents death. However in Bleed For You she had to endure so much more than that. She took all of her punishment and never lost the hope that kept her going.
Ezrin will forever have my heart for how much he sacrificed for those he loved. (The plot twist omg and epilogue 😭🥹)
Isaac’s story broke my heart repeatedly. He was made to stand by and watch the woman he loves suffer while he was trying to endure his punishment. I enjoyed reading the love Nyssa and Isaac share and the lengths they go for each other!!!!!
By the end I was crying and desperate to find out how this ended for Isaac and Nyssa.
I would absolutely recommend this book even though it tore me apart emotionally. The plot twists and epilogue healed me in a way I didn’t even know was possible. It is definitely one of those books I will think about for a long time!
Hold on I’m still sobbing… 😭😭😭 What a ride! This is the perfect end to the story. Book 2 picks up right where book 1 left off and takes you deeper into the darkness. The rollercoaster of emotions had me reeling. I am left feeling simultaneously devastated and healed. Chastin Jackson is a masterful storyteller. The writing is fantastic, the messages throughout are powerful and the emotional damage is top tier. Highly recommend! This is borderline pitch black and may be disturbing for some so please check your triggers but it’s so worth it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
Ok so first of all, holy shit I literally just finished and my jaw is on the ground so let me grab that quick. WHAT!!!! Chastin, my girl, the way you write is like poetry. It’s captivating. It drew me in and had me hooked just like the first book. I could not stop reading. It’s dark. Like dark dark so read the triggers and make sure you’re in the right head space to read but damn what a story. What love. On what they endured. My gawwwwwwd. I will need 3-5 business days to let my heart recover. So beautiful. Go read now. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
This book was an infinity star read for me. The way that this book picked up right where it needed to did something for me. This was dark dark. However, it was also so healing. I cried so much during this book and I didn’t think I was going to. The growth in Nyssa during the book was phenomenal. To see what she went through and then at the end was just wow!! You will love this duology. It is amazingly written.
I am absolutely a billion % gutted by this ending! Chastin’s writing truly makes you believe these characters are real making you feel every possible emotion the deeper you read! Book 2 is as painful as it is beautiful. Some scenes are truly gut wrenching to read through but the love story beneath it all just hurts in a way I can’t explain. I can’t believe it’s over.
Thank you Chastin for allowing me to read this early, you are a gem of a soul. ILY 🖤
I knew this was going to be an emotional read, but nothing prepared me for the ending. This duet is one of the best I have ever read. It is worth the heartache. The way Chastin is able to invoke such deep emotion is insane. This book will stay with me for awhile.
The epilogue was quite literally the best part of the book. First half I was into it but it fell off for me the last half. The reunion between Nyssa and Isaac was anticlimactic. Ezrin was the best character in the entire series tbh
