Before she's out of her twenties, Sophia wants to travel Europe and find herself. She decides to sell a family heirloom to add to her meager savings but the appraiser, Ken, deems it worthless.
Ken takes pity on her and he offers to give her a hundred dollars to add it to his personal collection.
It's not enough to convince her to part with the item. In a haggling turned argument, the heirloom breaks and Ken turns into a fox demon!
Worse, they’re bound together, can’t be more than ten feet apart, and the only way to break it is a “high emotional state”?
This latest release in the "cute and steamy" line of romances will have you laughing one moment and fanning yourself the next! Enjoy a paranormal fox demon-shifter romance with that special twist only Marvelle can bring!
From the viewpoint of someone who is a huge fan of kitsune demon male leads in anime and manga (plus a serious Tomoe and Sesshomaru fangirl), this story was fantastic! I love the way it was written and the interactions between the two main characters. Hoping to see more from this author.
That's what I would rate this read, however settings won't let you. I couldn't stop reading, just couldn't wait to see how the story unfolded. It's a good short read with plenty of steamy parts to keep you indulged.
Sophia can use some money. Ken, the guy she tries to sell it to, plans to cheat her, offering her less than it's worth. A problem arises and Ken turns into a fox demon. Worse yet, he and Sophia cannot be very far apart at all due to magic.
There is a way to apparently break the link but involves having sex and we get into the erotic part of the book which, in my opinion, is done really well and very tastefully. It makes for a nice, erotic/romantic story.
I loved reading Ken and Sophia's story. The Japanese lore was nice to see. The characters were endearing, and the romance was a great balance of cute and steamy.
I chose this rating because I think that it is a great book if your some one that loves romance and fantasy and demons this would be a book to read. I love this book and I'm sure anyone who reads it will too.
