Alenna's happy Year and a Day of handfast to her cuddly pastrybaker is nearly over. Only the Day itself remains before they must marry or part, and their wedding is already arranged. What better match could there be for a girl who likes everything spotlessly clean? But the town Sage bids Alenna to follow local custom and try out a man altogether different – just for the Day, just to be sure. She won't even get to choose her own Dayman. That's where the wisdom of the Sage comes in. The Sage always knows whose body will make up a lassie's mind for her... and for Alenna, the key to deciding her future lies with Meikle the Blacksmith, a muckle great man with a dirty workshop and a red-hot forge...
Ceud Mile Failte to my blog! I’m a Scot with a passion for writing erotic stories set in my special country in olden times. A quick dip into the history books will tell you that my curious tales are seldom based on anything recorded. But if you know the real Scots and their Celtic ancestors, and you feel their loyalties and their lustiness in your blood, perhaps you too will wonder what REALLY happened back in the day…
Gosh how I could read so much more of this story. I absolutely just loved the characters and storyline so much. Alenna and Meikle made a wonderful couple. And for the story to be as it was with a Dayman pretty interesting concept. So So Good!! On to the next one. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I enjoyed this very much. The characters were we!l developed, likeable and slightly flawed. It wasn't hard to fall in love with both of them which always makes reading their story that much more fun.
Although this follows the basic romance storyline, it is also a unique idea. And along with the budding romance is a real-life issue for our pair to work through. Obsessive/compulsive is a issue many deal with and our author has our duo work through to an acceptable conclusion.
