Hungarian author R.P. James embellishes his biography as well as adding a photo of himself as a buff model handsome. So now we know that Arpad (his friends call him `Arpi' which he distilled to R.P. as a moniker) is a male hunk with a degree in Economics and a minor in creative writing. He further sates `When I am not busy writing, you can find me on the tennis courts or in a Taekwondo Dojang. I write books about strong sexy women and the hot alpha males who love them. Of course, step brothers and Billionaires are welcome too ;-) My tastes are every expanding, so keep your eyes peeled for my next hot, steamy, romance!' So we have another short novella from a young man who has a growing sophistication in writing steamy erotica.
We are in Scotland again, for another installment in this Romance Highlander BDSM Bride stories and meet a lonely shepherdess (Leah) who has lost her sheep in a blistering storm. When she finds her tiny lamb she hears noises form a barn and sees two hunky men – Joseph and Matthew - who mistakenly believe she has stolen one of their lambs. Joseph wants to punish her but Matthew has other ideas for the little blond shepherdess. The girl is taken into the barn for a spanking for the ‘theft’ but must face other ‘ordeals’ for the lying – stripping away her wet clothes to the delight of two the men. More ‘discipline ‘is imposed until Leah is as excited as Matthew and Joseph – BDSM with Joseph in front and Matthew behind and Leah resisting and finally becoming exhilarated. And the experience becomes a promise of two grooms and a bride! Very sensuous writing here.
For a short story this works very well - the pacing, the character description and development, and the erotica is up to 10! Now we know that there is a male writer who has mastered the Erotica Realm. More will come from this series, hopefully...

Narration - D Rampling - Meh... Not sure any narration could save this.
This is basically a young ??woman?? who's lost her sheep. She finds her beloved little lamb, but Boom, the barn door is blown open by the strong wind. In the midst of their labor one of them looked up and noticed her. Rut-Roh!
So they punish her. Then bang her. Then ask her to be their bride and she says yes.
This is not reality folks, so if you're just looking for a beating followed by a sex scene in which a virgin actually enjoys her beating followed by a double penetration, this may be for you. If you like to at least partially become invested in the characters, and then enjoy a sex scene that might actually be possible, then this is not for you.

This story did start out rather scary and violent for the little shepherd girl. I wondered how old she really was, as the author made her sound so small and childlike. Slapping and whipping by the brothers lead to the girl agreeing to intercourse and then marriage. Not very realistic, but again this is only a story and if you enjoy menage the scene at the end is worth the wait.

R.P. James' "Their Shared Bride" is a hawt short story! The perfect blend of hot spanking and M/M/F sex. I definitely had to take care of business after reading this! It's the first book I've gone back and read twice in a long time. Very sexy! I can't believe it, but it's free right now on Amazon! I definitely want to check out what else this author has out there.

This book was just not my cup of tea. It had extremely hot sex scenes but I am not in to attempted rape and that is just how this felt to me. The writing was great don't get me wrong it just was not my type of story line, sorry.

I was given a copy for an honest review. This is a little darker than my normal reads but I found that I wanted to know how it ended. Matthew and Joseph are very forceful and there really is no true consent given by Leah. I do like my women to be stronger and more willing but the story was good.

Hate. This is a story of a young shepherdess that is brutally raped by two men who believe she was going to steal their lamb. There is nothing redeeming about this story. Absolutely nothing.
