At twenty years old Lake Heart has only been with one guy. She’s inexperienced in all things male related, but that doesn’t stop her from wanting Reese. He’s ex-military, powerful, and he makes her feel wholly feminine.
Reese Jordan’s marriage was broken from the very beginning, but for the last two years he tried to make it work. When he signs the divorce papers he doesn’t expect to feel this intense arousal for Lake, and she is over a decade younger than he is.
When one night of drunkenness leads to Lake and Reese sleeping together, the repercussions could ruin everything. But Reese wants Lake, no matter who thinks it’s wrong.
Ehhh, not my favorite. But I think this is one of Jenika’s earlier books. It’s more unique in that it isn’t instalove, definitely follows a more typical relationship timeframe, but was still a fun read!
Plot: Lake's dad has remarried after the death of her mom, and he's making her go to her new stepmom's brother's wedding. Reese is a great guy, newly discharged from the military, and marrying the woman he loves. It turns out that the marriage isn't made to last though. After it blows up, Reese comes to live with them for a little while, and Lake finds herself fantasizing over her step-uncle. He's not far behind in that regard. When they start a secret affair, it won't be only them that is affected by it; the whole family will have something to say.
Commentary: I'm not sure I liked watching the hero marry someone else, but the only consolation was that the H/h didn't know each other before the wedding, and that two-year time period gave the h a chance to grow up. It did also allow for the hero to truly see and admire the kind of person the heroine was, since she was the exact opposite of the OW. But also, it made the wedding of our couple at the end feel a little cheap. I mean, obviously people have second weddings all the time because of divorce/death, but still - we started and ended the book with the hero getting married. I did like how our couple built up a friendship before they got together. I also liked how her dad actually fought Reese when he found out what happened. I mean, she was an adult, but he did walk in on them, and that's not the time for diplomacy!
A short and sweet story about Lake, a twenty year old who finds herself falling for her recently divorced and much older step-uncle. Reese, likewise, falls in lust with her. After they've given in and had sex, they get caught by Lake's Dad and step-mother (Reese's sister) and have some 'splainin to do. But the angst wraps up and we get pretty much yearly updates on how their relationship is progressing.
I've always liked the forbidden step relationships and this is pretty interesting. The sex is fairly hot and the angst goes along nicely. I was not a fan of the epilogue updates. I also couldn't help but think that Reese's dialogue during sex sounded a bit juvenile...not like a 35-year-old man, but more like an eighteen year old. Not to mention the characters almost constant use of "good" to describe the sex. In fact, this isn't particularly sophisticated smut all around. Lots of repition in phrasing and descriptions as well. Still good for some sexy feels though.

This would have been a 4-4.5 star read if it wasn't for the ending. There's a heap of time-jumps (eg. 2 years later etc) and that's one of my most hated things. I understand one, but no more than that, especially for the start of three consecutive chapters or something. I hated the epilogue because I know what was happening from the first paragraph and it didn't shock me at all that it'd end that way. The sex was hot until a point in the book, then it started feeling tired and the same as everything else. It wasn't excellent, but it wasn't bad, I did like it.
So Wrong It's Good was about Lake Heart and Reese Jordan. Lake and Reese met for the first time when she was 18 and he was 33. Reese was her stepmother's brother, although they had not met when Ginny married Lake's father because he had still been serving overseas in the military. Lake was introduced to him at his wedding to another woman. However, two years later, Reese and Brittany were filing for divorce. Seeing a slow burn instead of an Instalove romance for a change was nice. It took quite a few months after Reese and his ex split before he and Lake hooked up. Even after that, it was a slow-developing relationship. There was plenty of angst and drama to satisfy the most diehard fan and a decent amount of emotions which kept the juices flowing. It was a bit aggravating that the author dragged the relationship out for as long as she did, though. Sure the MMC was fresh from a divorce, and the FMC was only 2o, but the author had stressed multiple times how mature and strong she was, and that she knew what she wanted. So why carry it out for longer than was necessary? There were some unresolved issues and some plot stragglers that were left dangling without being wrapped up. Because of that, I couldn't convince myself to give it more than a three-star rating. It had the potential to be better than it was, but it felt a bit too rushed.
4.0 out of 5 stars A must read from Jenika Snow!, July 8, 2015 Edit Review Delete Review This review is from: So Wrong It's Good (Kindle Edition) I was randomly chosen for an ARC of So Wrong it’s Good in exchange for an honest review and just finish reading it. I have to say I love and enjoyed this book, short but well written! Jenika presents us Lake Heart and Reese Jordan in this endearing and sweet story of two people that are great together. They have a lot to face between the difference in age, through family members in to that mix and is too much to endure. But love conquers all!
Jenika never disappoints, but she might have just outdone herself with this one. From the moment I read the blurb for this story, it jumped straight to the top of my reading list. Read it in one sitting and I'm still grinning. As you'd expect from this author, the sex scenes were scorching hot, but what impressed me far more was how emotional this story was. A fabulous read :-)
There is nothing about this authors books that I don't love. This one might be short but it has heart. She lets her readers see how true love should be.She takes us on a journey with Lake and Reese and lets her readers know there can be a HEA even if it doesn't come easy. Pick up the book people you want regret it.
With her typical flair for the dominant male Jenika Snow also showed us a vulnerable hurt man and a beautiful vibrant woman. Their compassion and love was heart warming. I loved this story and will recommend it to all for a soul lifting love story
I loved this story. Reese has had it rough and all he wants is to love and be loved and have a family. Little did he know that what he was needing was right in front of him. Loved Lake for him. She may be young, but she's smart and caring. They're perfect for each other.
This is another good story from Jenika. I haven't read one I didn't like. The Lake and Reese are well developed. There is definitely sexual content and some violence.
I read the other version of this book b4, but love this one more!!! Reese wanted Lake but know it’s forbidden bc she his best friend daughter. Love to reread Ms Snow books. Just love it!!! ❤️❤️❤️
