Ignatius ‘Iggy’ Michael Victors has been an elite Marine for almost fifteen years. When his commander leaves, following the love of his life home, he invites the entire team to join them. Iggy would be a fool not accept an invitation to join the most prestigious security agency in the world. But he didn’t heed the warnings about those on the property finding love. And he never expected that she would appear before him so quickly. Things seem to be progressing and then come to a screeching halt. Iggy wants answers and so do the boys with Shadow Warriors.
Olive’s early childhood is not the stuff from fairytales unless it’s a Grimm’s fairytale. Her opportunity for normal comes from the wonderful people at Belle Fleur. Taken from the abusive household of her aunt and uncle, she finds peace and growth with the Belle Fleur school. When she starts getting strange messages from a man claiming to be her uncle, she is terrified. Especially when she learns he’s part of a one-percenter. The problem is that she has no way of knowing whether they’re actually related.
Lucky for Olive the men at the bike shop and all over Belle Fleur don’t ignore trouble. They walk into it, heads held high, even in the face of a major hurricane.

It was crazy how Iggy and Olive had such awful childhoods, yet were so good themselves. I loved how Olive was rescued and where she ended up, good for her and Iggy they both ended up at Belle Fleur and could relate to each other due to their pasts.
More crazy was what Olive found herself at the center of. I was glad when she finally asked everyone for help and of course they all jumped, happy to help. It seemed like just when we thought we learned the last crazy fact, more would come through. I found it interesting the allies that helped and the one bright spot for Olive in the connection to her past. I don't feel a bit bad for what happened to the one that instigated everything, they deserved all that happened to them and more.
Finding the one you love and want to be either forever after having no one at times in your life that cared makes it so much better. Loved this story like all the others.
I love the family just growing. We get to meet new folks, check on old friends and get a love story. I can always count on a really good story line too. Always waiting for the next one
Two characters mentioned earlier now come to the spotlight. Another one, newly arrived becomes one of many heroes during a one-woman siege, as well as a natural attack by water.
