I knew from the minute I finished the third chapter that this book wasn't for me. you don't believe me? then how about this? Jessica Walsh is an army officer, her boyfriend cheats on her and then they split, that's chapter 1. Chapter two, Jessica and her BFF go out bowling and meet these two hunks, Cody and Andy. Jessica takes an instant liking to Cody Jones and by chapter 3, they are in bed together.

see? told ya. the story keeps going with this direction. There were lies and deceits and broken-hearts. And the story goes a bit out of the predictable route for some chapters at the end, but the execution was horrible. I hadn't felt the tiniest spark between Cody and Jessica or Andy and the other BFF. It was all too blah for my taste, and I really expected better story than this.

Anna Kristell is an author that just has a way with words. She makes you feel as if you know the characters personally.

This is a story about Jessica, who has been lied to and cheated on by her ex boyfriend. One evening, she goes out for a fun time with her best friend. There she meets Cody, a man she has been dreaming about. She has no intention of getting into a serious relationship and doesn't even tell him that she is a Major in the Army.

But Jessica realizes that there is more to Cody than just sex when she starts to care deeply for him. She decides that she must come clean and tell him the truth. Will love be able to get them through this?

If you like a good romance that is a bit steamy, you'll enjoy this book!

This the second time that I have read a book by Anna Kristell. I was skeptical if her second would measure up to her first book (Crossroad To Love). Unlikely Lovers did not disappoint. This author has the unique ability to "paint" a very vivid picture with words in much the same way a painter uses color to provide a vivid picture. The story moves and the storyline and the characters are believable.

You don't know what to expect.
Timing as in life is the key factor in this story of Jessica and Cody
