This book wrecked me in the worst & best way…🫠

5 STARS!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s hard to write a review for this book without spoiling anything, so here is what I can say. -
I absolutely LOVED book one, (Halo my Heart). And this book truly was just as amazing! The twist! The tension! The family bond! The revenge! The characters growth!

Katelyn is truly remarkable with her writing. I felt Journella’s feelings, I could feel how she was feeling(trying not to give all of what she felt away lol). It’s hard to put this into words, and I’m trying my best. I guess, I mean that my heart felt what Journey was feeling, even though I haven’t come close to what she has gone through. To me that is an incredible writer, when an Author can make me feel what their characters are feeling, like I’m truly there with them going through it. Hopefully this makes sense!😅😁

I was left baffled and confused at the end of book one, I was left baffled and happy at the end of Shard my heart.💗 The way things came to an end in this book, it was so wonderful. Nothing was left unanswered. The way things connected with book 1 too! Ugh..so, so good!😊 I loved it and will forever recommend this Duology to any and everyone!🤗

Awesome ending! Holy goodness, the emotional rollercoaster!
We pick up immediately where Book 1 concludes.
And this is even more of a wild ride.
Some mild adult language as with Book 1. But no-spice. Lots of blood and wounds. More than in Book 1. Just be advised.
We get to see the characters in a different light. And it's not necessarily the best side of them. Serious plot twist that was fantastic!
Thanks to Katelyn for the ARC, even though I hadn't read Book 1 before signing up. Thanks for taking a leap with me!
Opinions are my own.
