I choose you
This was a decent read. I loved all the couple. Lani and Ty are sweet together and always have each other back. Tisha and Otis are good together also. Marshae is crazy and needs tom realize that. I'm going to read part 2 to see what happen next.

NOT IT!!!
This book was not it for me. I couldn’t finish it. Im surprised the book wasn’t better because I usually love all Diamond Johnson’s books. This book felt rushed and forced. Some things were just happing to fast. For example, Otis asked Tisha for a key to her house on their first date. Who actually gives someone a key to their house on the first date??? I like the characters, I like the concept but the story is rushed.

IDK Yet On To Part 2
Story moving fast as in the time but I’m cool with that it’s just a little bit of everywhere to be honest. It seems to be more of Otis and Tisha than Lani and Tyrone. I was lost on how Ashley had a chapter then she disappeared completely from the book. Marshae is delusional cause she don’t even know why she’s doing what she’s doing. Tisha hopefully her crazy self doesn’t kill you cause I know it’s nobody but her smh. I’m loving the sister bond throughout the book though. Hopefully book 2 has some action action.

Wow! Just when things are going so well for Tish and Otis. Tish gets her hood king in a knight's shining armor and a little princess to get her family started, now here comes the drama. Otis is going to flip. The person I thought it was at first is not the person I suspect anymore. I really do believe it's Mike. I shall see when things are handled accordingly. Great Read! ReneeG 👍

This book series is good so far this is my first book by this author and she is good. I say females are petty and jealous if a man was never yours why go so hard to ruin their relationship or cause harm to their loved ones. Get a clue you was not that good just a jump off leave it at that and move on jeegz.

I have read many titles by this author, I didn't really care for this particular one. It took me longer to get through simply because I wasn't excited to jump back into it, I felt it held no purpose, and no excitement. The characters were just regular ppl existing. So I will not continue the series. However, I do love me some diamond and will still keep reading her work.

This is a okay book if you are bored and want something to read.The issue with Marshae wilding out over a man that she never had is a bunch of nonsense and doesn’t really foot into the story well.

Cute
I loved that this book had a minimal grammatical errors. Young love for sure. I was a little creeped out with Otis’ consequence towards Tisha trying to teach her a “lesson”. Lani and Tisha’s relationships were too similar for me to individualize them.

I'm loving this series so far. It had me from beginning to end. I love the friendship that the girls have with each other. I also love how the men are there for their girls.

Ok, this wasn't my favorite. Otis was low key abusive and old girl was spoiled and annoying AF. I am not sure if I want to read the next book, by the end of this one I was skimming.... I don't really have am opinion of Ty and Lani, they were kind of one dimensional

MARSHAE WASNT CRAZY SHE JUST WANTED HER MAN BACK LOL
Why in the world is there always these women in these stories that’s claiming a man who clearly doesn’t want anything to do with them, and then they think if it wasn’t for his girlfriend he’d be with me⁉️⁉️🤣 Like... is this the kind of shit happening these days 😳⁉️ I mean these women are walking around like:
Like, Otis don’t want you bitch, he used you for one thing and one thing only. So now, you’re thinking that if you kidnap and kill his girlfriend and mother of his child, that he will be with you?
The drama‼️‼️
All in all, good story. I didn’t like how possessive Otis was with Tisha and then he bit her cheek when she went to beat ol girl ass to the point that she was crying⁉️😳😳 How is this any different from a slap? It’s still abuse to me. I think, him beating up the kitty instead of that bite would have went better there but hey... It’s just that with how possessive he was, along with that bite just makes me look at him as abusive.
Now, that I’ve said that, let me just that I do believe with everything in me that Otis loves the fuck outta Tisha!! I mean, they almost made sick with all the baby this and baby that 🤣‼️
Anyway, good story. Lots of drama- on to part two!

In the first book of this series, we meet four friends…Ka'lani, Tisha, Kyra and Tamika. The two main couples that are focused on is Lani and her husband Tyrone, along with Tisha and her best Otis. We have a front row seat to their relationships, and all that comes along with it. There's infidelity, marriage, sisterhood, thirsty women, entrepreneurship and last but not least…kidnapping.
If you are familiar with @_diiamondddd_ 's pen, then you already know that this is a page turner that will leave you wanting more. I'm grateful that I purchased the entire series, because I would've been ticked off. My favorite character was Tyrone and my least favorite was Marshinae.
There were a few errors, which didn't take away from the story. I highly recommend this book.

Loved the flow of the story
Mz Diamond Johnson definitely did her thing with this right here. The characters were so believable. Really enjoyed the bond of sisters that the women shared. They are hilarious. The relationships with the men are genuine and feel authentic. Some authors try a bit too hard and it comes off as unrealistic. There is always someone trying to knock you off your square, these couples have their work cut out for them. The crazies are definitely out and in full affect.

True Friends
The story started out great and got better as it continued
Lani, Tisha, Tamika & Kayla have been friends since they were young, they had that Ride or Die friendship, Ty( Tyrone) and Otis didn't play when it came to taken care of their ladies Lani & Tisha.
OMG the author left us hanging lol.
I gave the story 4 stars only because of grammatical errors but the story was Great, looking forward to starting the second book.

Damn I loved this book.It held my attention beginning to the end.Lani and Ty are so cute together and and ain't that how all relationships are.Im glad he got his stuff together.Wow Otis and Tisha???They are so cute together also.Im glad she finally gave him a chance because he is a guy.I love the way the girls are so close and are ride or die for each other.Now that ish Marshe is freaking crazy she needs to get a life forreal.I can't wait to get into part two that ending was messed up

2nd time around
This is my 2nd time reading this book when I read it the 1st time I wasn't a fan of Diamond Johnson but for sum reason I really enjoy her stories her character build up makes you love them there are several errors which normally wild bug me but because I like the characters I can over look them..Now the book is very repetitive because I feel she wanted to extend the book had she not done that it would have been a 5 star

Great bonds of sisterhood. The fellows got it together as well. Trish has a beautiful baby, Harmony, with her love Otis. Now her best girl, Lani is expecting a baby with hubby Ty. I am on to reading book 2 so I can find out who kidnapped Tish.

You have to read this book. Black love at it's finest! Lain and Ty's love is so real, with lots of laughter, sex and loyalty. Tisha and Otis make you believe in love after a Broken heart. This is a great book. Can't wait for part two...the ending left me speechless.

Redundant
So many pages where wasted with unnecessary details like taking a shower, brushing teeth, the designer clothes name dropping. More effort should have gone towards storyline. Got most INTRESTING towards the very end.

I love all of the other books from this author.
This book seems just like Little Miami Girl. I know these books somewhat relate but the story line is the same. I struggled to finish this book and I'm not Interested in parts 2 and 3.

Choosey lover
I love this author but I would love more versatility with the women in her stories. Don't get me wrong her books are a good read but the characters can be a bit generic.
