Amy is a feisty lass from Leeds and after loosing her parents and a bad break up with her Ex Dean she has now pulled herself back together and is on top form. She's not actually looking for Love at the moment because she has lost all faith in men after dean. When her promotion and work takes her on a trip to the States she meets that man that takes her breath away. She is a little scared at first and keeps him at arms distance but she soon falls for all his charms. But let's be honest who wouldn't?
Ok Yes Isaac is a rich CEO of a large company like in so many other books but Isaac is a little different with tattoos and a Prince Albert piercing (Sexy as hell).
I enjoyed this story as Amy is so down to Earth and for once she is a woman with curves. I have read so many books where the women have such amazing figures it makes a refreshing change to read about a real woman. This is a well written book with a great storyline. It had me hooked from the start. It has me gripped and wanting to read on to book no. 2! There are a few hot sexual scenes which I think are quite real to life and realistic. A nice short story which can be read in no time at all. Great Book I would definitely recommend!

Sexy, funny and (sigh) a good dollop of romance. Yorkshire lass Vs a DAMN sexy American hottie. Who's gonna come out on top (yes, pun intended). I LOVE THIS BOOK! Made me laugh, sigh and other things :). Fan-freckin-tastic people!

A pleasant enough read, but unfortunately laced with small annoyances from editing oversights, such as ‘After consuming culpable amounts of wine…’ – perhaps the wine is to blame!
It might also account for the copious use of ‘been’ in place of ‘being’ throughout the text, and a plethora of other mistakes too numerous to mention… but this is me being pedantic, I know – it’s the teacher in me coming out.
However, ‘marked’ purely on the story and the light ‘chatty’ writing style, likable heroine, and chemistry between the characters, and setting aside the spelling and grammar, this gets an ‘I liked it’ 3.5 stars rounded up to 4, because errors can be corrected, and apart from that this is a well-structured, quick romantic read that was funny, sexy, and enjoyable… and it was free on Amazon… and by a British writer, which is refreshing.
This part does leave the story unresolved, but I see that it’s complete in two books, and the second book is reasonably priced, so I will be investing my 99p to find out what happens next.

OMG this book was, sorry, is totally amazing. It was like Fifty Shades of Grey and the Crossfire series had a baby and TL Wainwright delivered that baby haha
Issac is just HOT and ready to do just about anything to get what he wants. I love him and I want him lol

Holy hotness, Naughty but rice is hot hot, hot!!
I could not put this book down, I loved it.
When Amy is offered a promotion and part of her job is to partake in a conference in London she leaves her home town of Leeds England and goes to the big city.
Amy is sassy, a northern lass, a bit clumsy and an outspoken woman, she's the sort of woman who is who she is, no pretence and really, the hot American business man Isaac Reed didn't stand a chance, he was captivated from the moment he met her.
I was hooked, I laughed, swooned and boy did it get hot, so prepare to fan yourself.
The story finishes on a cliffhanger, the kind where you think how on earth will he redeem himself from that? Amy is the kind of woman who likes honesty and people being upfront so I can't wait to read more and see how it all goes.

This isn't the first book from T.L Wainwright that I've read but as her debut this is brilliant! This book showcases the talent that this author has!
Naughty but Rice is a quick but hot read - I love a bit of instalove in my books but this has everything...instalove a red hot male, a sassy heroine, a little emotion and some angst.
This is one book you need to read. Me I'm about to jump into book 2 for the conclusion. If you don't like a cliffhanger then book 2 is available now!
TL never fails to amuse me. I love her books! If you haven't picked one up then you should.

Being from Yorkshire I couldn’t pass up this opportunity to read a book written by a Yorkshire gal, about a Yorkshire gal who sorta falls for an American dude. I loved this story, I loved the author’s sense of humour and I loved both Amy and Isaac (what’s not to love, super hot, uber rich American CEO). I also loved that they were both down to earth, and that Amy was pretty normal (not a stick thin model), and that she was a bit of a klutz without any airs or graces. My kind of girl. Fab story, written mainly from Amy’s viewpoint but with odd one page chapter scattered here and there from Isaac’s viewpoint. Part one of a short duet that ends in a cliffie. No worries I went straight on to one-click part two. Highly enjoyable.

Interesting read not to heavy for most of the story but a little bit angsty in a few places. Characters are very easy to love. This is this authors first book and she has done a great job with a plot that is reasonably common but at the same time unique where main character meets a guy who it turns out is a client for her job, but it is still.different and very down to earth. I loved the British lingo, it added to the enjoyment and I found myself chuckling at times, a lot of books are written with American readers in mind and language is tended to be toned for them and not us Brits. So this was a nice mix of both. Straight into book 2 because I could not leave the story where it finished .

OMG
This is a new to me author, that I am hopefully going to be meeting at a book signing event next year. In the event page this book came up as being free, so with nothing to lose I downloaded it today.
Now usually I'm not a fast reader but this book is fan bloody tastic. It's just up my street. Hot man, hot woman steamy hot 🔥🔥sex, with plenty of twists and turns that will keep you guessing and page turning.
I for one have just one clicked the series. What are you waiting for??

Oh wow! T.L is a new to me author who I had the pleasure of chatting to at a signing in Leeds. Came home and one clicked this. I have sat and read this in one sitting, I could not put it down. I will definitely be reading more of her work.
I connected with Amy from the first page, her northern sass and vulnerability hooked me. And then she met Isaac! Hot damn, that man!.....and that ending...totally one clicked Book Two, off to read that now!

I love T.L. Wainwrights humour and straight talking. The heat was intense, great dialogue and relatable characters all rolled into a fab short read. She has a way of writing that pulls you into the story, and I was hooked. I'm now downloading book 2 so I can find out what happens next. Highly recommended.

This book though only around 120 pages packs so much punch . Not a single word of this book is wasted or written for the sake of it like so many other short stories .
Its exciting, steamy and a general easy read .
It does end on a bit of a cliffhanger , but with it being a smaller book series I'm absolutely fine with that!!
Can't wait to read the second book in the collection .

Desperately needs an editor
When an author writes a book and fills it with jargon that’s only understood by her community, that’s an indication it shouldn’t be published for an international audience.
If that isn’t bad enough, the grammar was terrible. The story is filled with missing words, the wrong words, missing punctuation—what more can I say?

I loved the flow of this quickie. Together Amy and Issac are explosive. Their interaction was goosebump inducing, and together with a satisfying plot, this made it a fun and enjoyable read.

I love T.L. Wainwrights books. She writes with a sass and passion that is felt within her words. This book was her debut novel and should be started immediately but make sure you have book 2 at the ready as it ends on a cliff hanger!
I have no.doubt you will absolutely love Amy and Isaac as much as I did.

This is the first book I have read by T.L Wainwright and I really enjoyed it. There are twist and turns to the story that keeps you captivated. So much so that I downloaded the second one straight away.
Amy gets a promotion, but little did she realise that this promotion would lead her into the arms of a stranger.
The stranger happens to be Issac, the boss of the company she has a meeting with the day after. Issac sweeps her off her feet and a hot sexy romance begins.
