Sally Odgers was born in Tasmania in the 1950s, went to school there in the 1960s, married there in the 1970s, and had her children there in the 1980s. Her first book was published in 1977.
Love this book. It's so different and easy to read. I've re-read it like 20 times and every time I fall a little more in love! Very interesting story, with each chapter (or so) written from a different characters perspective. I first read this when I was about 12 and I'm now 31 and still enjoy it. The only bad thing about it is that I wish it was longer or that there was a second one!
