Title: Finding Love’s Wings

This is the first book in the Love’s Wings series. They do need to be read in order.
Another wonderful love story from Ms. Derrick.
During a vacation/retreat, Cami meets the man of her fantasies, Tristan. Tristan is also running away from his stress, the stress of being Hollywood’s newest big thing and a cheating lover.
I could relate to Cami’s feelings of abandonment. That feeling of always being alone even when in a crowd. The feeling of not knowing if you can love, because you aren’t sure that you were ever loved in return. I can only hope that I find my Tristan.
During their whirlwind romance, Cami and Tristan find that they have many things in common. They both are orphaned, share a love of tattoos and piercings, and live relatively simply despite their wealth. One thing I cannot share with them is a love for the Ravens. Not only do they love the Ravens, but they share a hatred of the Steelers. I almost quit the book at that point! I am a diehard Steelers fan. Luckily, this was not a major point for the book and I can overlook it.

This is the first book in the 365 Days Series, but there are characters from the Love’s Wings series who make an appearance.
This is a little bit of FSOG meets reality. Either Ms. Derrick is in the scene or she knows people who have talked openly to her, because this is a lot closer to how the lifestyle is lived than FSOG portrays. There is also more than a passing nod to Pretty Woman and Indecent Proposal – gee, Zoey, what are your favorite movies? LOL
Then there is chapter 57. All I’m going to say is make sure you have a leash on your kindle so that it doesn’t actually hit the floor. Honestly. I got online after reading it to tell Ms. Derrick that she was evil (in the best kind of way). She provides the aftercare needed in the remaining chapters. It is worth the angst!
I love the story. Steaming love balanced with life in all of its little worries, interruptions, and fun. Only sleep and work interrupted my reading. I love the characters. I want to be Dacotah…. not what she went through at the beginning of the book. The douche ex I have, thank you very much. I want the HEA that she found after dropping his slimy ass.
Zoey Derrick has knocked another one out of the ball park!

This is the first book in the 69 Bottles series. They do need to be read in order, but there is no cliff-hanger.
Addison has one hell of a week in this book. For the last seven years, she has poured herself into her work and the payoff is being given to her in the form of a promotion representing 69 Bottles as their PR rep while on tour. Surrounded by sex-god rock stars, the sexy manager, and tour security, she is one woman in a hunky candy store. Protected by all, she is going to be claimed by two. Can she choose between them? Does she need to choose?!
This is your warning – skip it if you’re a prude. There is hot, steamy action, and it is not reserved for the M/F type of relationship. Addison is in a hot-man sandwich and I do mean HOT. There is no “hold the mustard” for her or her double-decker treat!
The best I’ve read from Zoey Derrick yet! I love how she brought in old favorites from her other books to play a part in this story.
BTW: Addison’s motto seems to be “don’t feed the animals,” and you’d be surprised how often it is the perfect fit for dealing with so many situations.
OMG!! I get to start reading book 2, CRAVING TALON as soon as I post this – lucky, lucky me!!

Both characters have their flaws and their dark secrets but through perserverance they overcome everything to get the HEA!
I love the fact that the characters from this series also make appearances in the wonderful 69 Bottles series. It's a great tie in of the series.
I highly recommend the Loves Wings Series. You'll fall in love with the sexy movie star and his feisty PR lady!

This box set is from the begining of a few of Zoey's series and they are all tied together. And well worth the read. It is a great way to to get to know the main one from Bold International, Cami. In Finding Love's Wings Cami will find herself and just what love is for her. Then in One Week Dacotah will learn that in One Week she can have what she needs and wants with the right man. And finally in Claiming Addison, Addison will find that she can find love with two men and make it last.

Words, I need to find words! Holy, holy hot! Great story of intsa-love. All main characters stood out in their own way. They face various temptations and danger, and many twists and turns along the way. Why have one lover when you can have more? Why have one soul mate when you can have multi? This book is sweet while being Scorching hot at the same time.

Eh. Not as hot as I would like. Kind of choppy in the beginning but by the end it does get better. Still not that great though.
