My new professor is a lycan king- and I’ve been selected to be his knotting partner. He says we’re fated mates. I thought I’d just signed up for mythology class.
I’m a broke, bookish scholarship girl who runs on monster romance and a hamster with a flair for fainting. My experience with possessive lycan kings belongs strictly between the pages.
Until Professor Miles Draven walks into my college classroom.
He’s royal. Lethal. Ridiculously hot. And he’s decided I’m his fated mate.
Now mythology lectures come with knotting classes—and he keeps choosing me for the demonstrations.
He crowds my desk, growls when another man gets close, and turns ancient mating rituals into lessons I’m definitely not finding in the textbook.
“I’m trying very hard to be professional, Miss Crowe. And you’re making it extraordinarily difficult.”
The worst part? I stop wanting him to try.
When we’re alone, he stops holding back, dragging his mouth everywhere I’ve imagined and growling that the moon made me his.
But before he can bind me for good, his crown calls him home—to a kingdom that won’t bow to a human queen.
He keeps one last secret, leaves a note on my pillow, and vanishes.
So I walk into a court of wolves who want me gone—five foot nothing, hamster under my arm—and refuse to leave.
Now my possessive professor is a king on his knees.
And before I let him teach me anything else, he’s going to learn how to earn his mate back.

I loved the story but hate all the plot holes and errors. This book needs a proof reader or editor to fix where it feels like the authors were each writing a story about the same MCs and slapped it together and called it good enough. And the bouncing back and forth between Miles and Milo sometimes in the wrong places was so distracting it read more like an error than him using two names throughout the whole book.
I do like this series. This particular story was good, but there were so many inconsistencies that it seems like the wrong version was published. Literally talking about beating rogue alphas at the end when there was no rogue alpha anywhere in the book. I couldn’t give it more than two stars because of it.
The overall premise was cute and the characters were good. I am fairly certain that this was cranked out using AI though because there were several times where there were references made to events that didn’t happen, and sections that repeated. Overall not an awful book, but not one of my favorites
Her new professor is a lycan king. It's her last year of college and her ADHD brain doesn't like change. A new professor to throw her for a loop. Low and behold he is hot. Super hot. And he likes her, a lot. He just has a terrible time expressing that sentiment.
The shower scene in the beginning of the book - is it authors that think more sex is better or editors ? The story was cute & different . The characters were well written so why screw it up with unnecessary & extra sex scenes in the very beginning. Skip the first part & enjoy the rest !
This was a great book. It’s kind of a typical human girl /supernatural mate book yet I found the story refreshing as evidenced that I read it in hours not days!
You will have to read the book till the end so make sure you set aside the whole day. From the beginning of their love story until the last page it will leave you wanting more.
A great read that I absolutely devoured! The plot is well done, the spice was great, and the ending was perfect. So glad Facebook pushed me to read it!
Loved this book. Character development was phenomenal, storyline will make you not want to put the book down, lots of laughs, and steamy scenes. What's not to love
