They’re ordinary women trying to make a life for themselves, just like everyone else. But these three are about to stumble into the greatest of adventures - love. For Eleanor, it’s a chance meeting at a cheerful country bar, while her sister Jodi opens a new restaurant next door and discovers the bartender has hidden talents. Tracy’s world expands dramatically when she visits her college buddy Eleanor – and learns that domination and submission can lead to unexpected pleasures! They didn’t expect happy endings, but sometimes things just feel so right…
I'm really rather boring... Honestly. I live a pretty hum-drum life as a wife and mother. I shop at the local supermarket and use coupons now and again. See? Boring stuff.
I live in Virginia now, so I am learning all kinds of new things - such as being able to buy beer and wine along with bread and toothpaste. Wow!
Having been born and raised in England, I do possess a well-developed feel for the English countryside. Comes in handy for those Regency tales. Even though I was transplanted over to the US side of the Atlantic, I still have ties to all things Brit. I bake sausage rolls and make Christmas pudding. You can take the girl out of England, but not England out of the girl, I guess.
I'm not sure anyone can write really well unless they read. A lot. I read anything and everything these days. And mostly on my couch with a book on my knees. Yes, the technology is out there for electronic versions, but there's not much to compare with a shiny new hardcover from a favorite author.
We were warned in the beginning of this collection that it is a re-release from about twelve years ago, but that it had been updated. Well, almost. It was fun catching the dated stuff - pagers? Really? I remember when . . . But the classic boy meets girl and they fall in instance lust never grows old. Wonderful character driven stories that caught my attention and kept me reading all night. Well done.
In this set you get three stories. Eleanor, Jodi, and Tracy. Each can be read as a stand alone and have excellent elements. Reading them together like this was a definite delight.
Eleanor - all work an no play makes for a combustible girl. Especially when she meets a hunk of a man on a night that she didn't even want to leave her house. Comedic relief comes in the form of awkward practice and embarrassing moments. Follow her through the discovery of the girl she is and see if her relationship can withstand the pride of a man. Find out what happens when a girl does something out of love but doesn't know how to tell him.
Jodi - Being back from Paris shouldn't mean f*** boys and all work. Jodi is a beautiful woman, but words from a past relationship haunt her in a way no one would expect. That is until an ad idea thrusts her in front of the camera. Looking through his portfolio and finding the sexy shoot - only to realize it's her sister and brother in law sets into motion an idea of getting her confidence back and making her feel like a woman. Does she find what she needs or does the photographer set her free? Find out what happens when love makes you more vulnerable than being naked.
Tracy - She loves the piece hanging in the wall in front of her but Simon doesn't see its appeal. All he can see is the 'flaws of the woman's body' because it isn't the traditional big breasted, long legged, blond with a whip kind of art. This is real and it speaks to her on a most basic level. It's interesting and dare she say it .. Arousing. Something about the photograph catches George's attention. Even if he is listening to the game and not paying attention to anything else. Spying the name of the photographer he plans a trip to see his old friend. Who should be at the inn he is staying at other than the girl with the whiskey eyes that laughed at his outburst at the show. The one that was interested in the same photo as him. Find out what happens when their discovery of sexuality turns into something more. Do they act on feelings or will misunderstood words stand in their way and take what they both want from them.
Going into these stories blindly gave me the pleasure of reading without expectations. I love finding new to me authors that write beautifully and tell real stories and that is exactly what these authors did. From the comedy to the real was of one or both on the relationship messing up Sahara Kelly and SL Carpenter have something for every mood. They definitely earned another fan!
I really loved reading Feels So Right boxed set by authors S.L. Carpenter and Sahara Kelly. The storytelling was so good and I can't remember when I've read stories that had me grinning ear to ear one minute and then fanning myself because of how scorching hot the sex scenes were. I really enjoyed the couples in each story and loved how they were somehow connected to one another.
Eleanor
I really loved Eleanor and Justin's story so much and I was hooked right from the beginning. I thought the storytelling was brilliant with the perfect blend of romance, humor and scorching hot scenes. Their chemistry was undeniable from the beginning and they certainly burned up the sheets. I found myself smiling and chuckling as Eleanor became less reserved and more spontaneous thanks to Justin; these two complemented each other perfectly with their different background. I also enjoyed Eleanor's interaction with her sister which was a hoot and I cannot wait to read Jodi's story next.
Jodi
Another fabulous story with Jodi and Marcus and once again, the storytelling captured my attention with the humor, scorching hot sex scenes and some realism of the male behavior that had me chuckling. The sexual tension between these two simmered whenever they were in the same room and I could not wait for them to act on it. I loved that Marcus saw Jodi for the incredible woman she was and showed her through his photography how desirable and passionate she was.
Tracy
The opening of this story was amazing and totally captured my attention with that BDSM scene. I liked how the characters of Tracy and George were introduced and their connection with the other characters. I loved how the authors were able to include humor in their storytelling that centered around Tracy and George's curiosity and exploration into the world of BDSM. Their lack of experience in this area actually made the sex scenes that much sexier.
This is a three book set and OMG I loved it! I laughed so hard, I shed a few tears and nearly busted a gut at times as well.
This book had a lil bit of everything, heart ache and heart break, deceit and deception, revenge and redemption, lust and longing, romance and 3 HEA's to melt your heart and your panties!! Oh?! Did I forget to mention that the sex was hot!!! OMG, it was so good, it had me squirming in my seat at times.
Of the three books in the set, I think book 2 was my favorite, but then when I stop to think, book 3 was so funny and intriguing, then of course I loved Justin so much in book 1 that I am so confused now on which is my favorite. I guess that I will just have to go back and read them all again sometime soon. Like that would be such a hardship. :)
I loved how each story flowed into the next. We got to see the characters from the previous books show up in the next one but they did not take over the story. The characters were so well written and easy to fall in love (lust) with, their dialogue flowed so well that it sucked me right in and made me feel as if I was part of the conversation and the descriptions were done nicely where I felt as if I was actually there.
I loved this set so much, I wish there was more than just the three books in the set. I became so invested into the characters I didn't want their stories to end.
So, if you haven't figured out out by now, I absofreakinlutley loved this book!
Would I recommend this book? Well, Yea!!!
Would I read more from this author? Hmmmmmm YES!!!
S.L. Carpenter & Sahara Kelly never fail to remind you that humor, laughter, and good, dirty sex is the basis for every relationship. The writing duo introduce us to 3 women in this three book bundle, and what makes them each unique. Everyone of them is different with their goals, their wants, & their needs. And so are the men that they fall in love with. The men have their own stories, and each couple "explains" what makes them tick and how they are just perfect for each other. Each story can be read separately, but I found staying in the order and watching the previous relationships grow along with the newly introduced couple you get ... how to explain.... more. That seems like such a simple word to describe these characters but I found myself falling asleep with a smile, and wondering just what would happen next. There is a bit of drama, but it's not overwhelming, and the writing takes you easily through each chapter. You will get your HEA's in this bundle and not without laugh out loud & sexy moments.
*Warning* These stories might cause you to laugh out loud at inappropriate moments, close your eyes with powerful daydreams, twist your head to see if someone might be in the shadows, look at yourself in the mirror (especially your rear view), and make you smile with a particular heat in your eyes & smile.
First, I would like to thank both Scott Carpenter and Sahara Kelly for providing me with this book so that I may bring you this review.
This is the first book that I had ever read by this writing duo Scott Carpenter and Sahara Kelly. I took an interest in the dedication part of the book to learn more about the duo. Some interesting tidbits I found out by reading it.
Feels So Right is the PERFECT title for this book! Let me tell you after the stressful week getting adjusted to the first week of a new job-this was the perfect book for me! It was even sexier than 50 Shades of Grey without the BDSM storyline!! I loved the wild, hot, spontaneous, sexual chemistry Justin and Eleanor had with each other. Loved the detailed descriptions of the explicit sex scenes they had with each other. Eleanor in her own right had a very arousing masturbation session in front of a full length mirror while fantasying about Justin.
Feels so right, is in part a box set made up of three different novels. Jodi, Eleanor, and Tracy all get to tell their side of their own story.
Feels so right by S.L. Carpenter reviewed by Kaila for cbr
Wow, what can I say. This was awesome. The feelings, the love, the sexyness. It was hott. It made me laugh, made me sad, made me very very happy and a good HEA is always amazing to have. This set was amazing and I will recommend it to my friends. I am so glad I got to review it.
This is a three book box set. I received this book to review in exchange of an honest review. The first book is the story of Eleanor. The second is the story of her sister Jodi and the third is the story of Tracy. All three women find themselves in a sexy amazing relationship with their guys. Lots of sex and emotion in these three books. This trilogy has explicit sex scenes. For 18 and up!!
Loved it. One of the funniest, sexiest books I have read. Had everything, good plot, good writing, minimal editorial errors, H and h that seemed like real people. I will put in my re-read collection.
