Imagine a girl so in love that she's willing to serve time in jail for her man. Now meet Secret Miller, eighteen and pregnant, being hauled off to jail while her boyfriend, Lucky, looks the other way. The dope the police found in the car is Lucky's, but since it's Secret's car and she's the one driving, the police throw her in cuffs. Not only does Lucky not speak up for his girl, but he has his side chick come and pick him up from the scene while Secret sits watching in the back of a police car.
Imagine a girl so obsessed with revenge that she's willing to spend the rest of her life in jail after paying back her man for his disloyalty. Now walk with Secret Miller and a boatload of other broads who have been burned by Lucky. They want to see him pay for the hurt and pain he's caused in their lives.
In Obsessed 3, everything comes full circle as Lucky tries to maneuver through a maze of some down-ass chicks, and those chicks who just want to take him down.
My opinion of this book was far from what I expected. Let's start off with Secret was doomed from the beginning messing with no Google Lucky he left her when she needed him the most. To make matters worst her best friend Shawn with her trifling self and her sister Kat do her dirty behind her back. Now to her mother she was a pure bitch excuse my language her father was no damn better. Secret had it hard from the door and now she has a baby it gets no better for poor Secret. This book was a decent read questions still need to be answered.
This was an OK read. There were a few things that didn't add up. Not implausible. Just... Things that someone as smart as Secret was supposed to be, wouldn't do. A new mother leaving her newborn in the car on two separate occasions being one of them. The first time was dicey. The second time? Leaving your newborn in the car when you are going into a situation that you KNOW might be dangerous? I'm going to go backwards and read the second part. I need to see if the characters are a little more fleshed out in that one. There is more to writing a book than a good story. The situations and characters should be realistic. Unless it's in a genre that isn't based on reality.
I have so many questions about this story was were never answered. Does it just seem that if the author added a little more depth the conclusion would feel complete? It was a quick escape with characters that were flawed and needed some help themselves.
Absolutely loved listening to Secret's life. Nice to hear that despite it all, Secret kept her head up and overcame all her adversities to achieve her goal of going to Ohio State University!!
I've been in Secret's corner since the 1st book. Poor baby just can't seem to get her feet on the right track.
After Lucky let's Secret go down for him, he doesn't even attempt to make things better. Secret gets out and realizes her bestie, Shawn, is working for Lucky and her sister, Kat, used to be his chick. SMH. Of course, those are 2 things that just don't work out.
I recommend this read. I think I may have shed a few tears throughout.
Oh and that momma of hers, I wanted to reach through this book on her behind! lol
Well looks like she did go through with the plan. Sad that her baby girl had to die though. And her sister is a piece of work I tell ya. Lucky was bond and determined to find out that major pain was her baby's daddy. Also glad that her and Shawndiece became close again and both went to college. I like how this ended.

This was truly a good read if you enjoy urban novels. Lawd....poor Secret just can't seem to catch a break. She is such a lovable character. It make you want to see everything work out for this best for her. This book caught me off guard with several surprises. It even brought me to tears....jeeze! Definitely worth it too me :)
Obsession 3 is the best book out of the three. It was all about revenge. Lucky was'nt who I thought he was after all. He used Secret and Kat (sisters). In the end he got a bitter taste of revenge. I'm happy Secret finally got a chance to go to Ohio State University, her life long dream. She endured a lot including the death of her daughter but, she prevailed. Very good read!
This book really made me cry and touched home for me. It is a story of hardships and bad choices in a young persons life. It also teaches a valuable lesson that no matter what life throws at you, you should never give up. When one door closes another will open. Great book!
