Very enjoyable book to read, recommend it to anyone who enjoys a sweet Hallmark story. You can’t help but love all the characters. The h is a very competent and well loved liaison for a very popular hotel that has just changed ownership. They are going to be having a very prominent guest for the great gala that the hotel will soon be having celebrating the new ownership. Besides this she is told by her boss that she will also be helping discreetly this prominent guest find a new home. She will be working with this person’s agent. When she meets the agent it turns out to be her older brother’s best friend and she recognizes him immediately but he has no idea who she is. Also she has had a crush on him since she was young. When the H meets the h he doesn’t want to work with her but very quickly learns that she is someone to contend with and quickly respects her. She very quickly and discreetly finds the proper home that the famous actor can purchase with out the purchase being known. As they work together the H falls in love with the h, still not knowing who she is. When he finds out he becomes furious with her for her deception. In the end he realizes that it will be his loss if he doesn’t heal their relationship, so he does. Hope you get this book and enjoy it as much as I did. Enjoy.

I don't know why some books feel like you have read them before or know the characters as you know an old friend, but for me this felt like one of those stories. In this case Sophie, the liaison who is finding a house for the hiding movie star, is everyone's friend. Actually the star's manager, Jason, is a childhood best friend of her brother. Unfortunately he doesn't recognize her or give any indication of who she is. And although she was only fourteen when he moved away, she was in love with him... and still is.
A storyline that you think you know where it is heading with surprises along the way ends up to be much more than a straightforward story. Complex characters, an unknown new boss, interruptions, and a busy resort with multiple distractions turn the situation into a nail-bitter before it's over! An engaging story to the final page!

This story was very entertaining and reminded me of Hallmark movies with wholesome characters. I was quite happy with how well it kept my attention.

Sophie works as a liaison where she runs into Jason who is working for a famous actor client Dylan. Jason is very impressed with how well Sophie does her job and handles his client. As they work together to find Dylan the perfect house with a special room for clocks. Though they struggle to admit their feelings and Sophie keeps putting off discussing them due to fear and feeling invisible from her childhood and Jason eventually leaves after asking her to work with him in New York. He comes back within hours of driving away, where he finds all the hotel employees are outside watching Sophie who was ready to take off and find Jason herself to claim her love for him.
