All she wanted was a home for a shelter dog. What she got was a man with the biggest heart she'd ever seen and a past that made her cry.
Sally Gray has been surrounded by tall, dark, handsome men her entire life. It's going to take a lot more than big muscles and a fondness for Irish Wolfhounds to make her fall for the man from Copper Creek.
Todd Randall had the perfect life; a career that took him around the world, a wife and son that he loved beyond words. Then in one terrifying night everything changed, and he's never been the same since.
Sally needs Todd's help to make a bride's dream come true, but he gave up believing in dreams a long time ago. With a wedding disaster looming and no happy ending in sight, Sally has no choice but to do what it takes to make Todd change his mind. If that means confronting everything that's kept him locked away from the world, then she'll do it. Even if the price turns out to be more than either of them can afford.
HEAD OVER HEELS is the third book in The Bridesmaids Club series and can be read as a standalone. Each of Leeanna's series are linked so you can find out what happens to your favorite characters in other books.
Leeanna Morgan is a USA Today bestselling author. She lives in New Zealand surrounded by green hills on one side and the ocean on the other. She enjoys going for long walks, especially if she can convince her husband and two children to go with her!
Leeanna writes contemporary romances set in Montana. Her books contain all of the things that are important to her; good friends, family, a strong sense of community, and a happy ending.
I'd liked the first two books in the series, but this one left me pretty cold, mostly because I truly disliked Sally. "People who won't take no for an answer" are most often bullies, and that certainly comes through with her. Aside from that she just didn't grab me at all- I was more pulling for Luke to find someone, anyone else.
Just an odd aside- has anyone noticed that the male leads are all 6'5"? There really must be something in the water out there, or in the last book we'll find out that they're all actually brothers from the same father.
Head Over Heels is the story about Todd and Sally. I was hoping we would learn more about Todd and what happened to his wife and son. This book answered my questions and kept me flipping the pages to see what was going to happen. If you enjoy some suspense with your romance, you will enjoy this book.
A nice little story. Predictable and pleasant for the most part (which is quite weird to say given the backdrop for one of the main characters was pretty grim).
I found the characters pleasant and easy to relate to. The story had a good pace and a nice finish. Perhaps if anything there was not a lot of drama that was unexpected. Not my favourite by this author but not bad
I didn't think it could get any better than the last book in the series but omg it has. The twists and turns in this story pushed it further. The description of the characters are so clear that you can see them in your own mind. I sometimes think the back stories get a bit much but I get jt. Can't wait for the next characters story
Sally and Todd were wonderful! The dangers they faced, and the uncertainty they had for each other was made sweeter by the end. The experiences Todd went through before he moved to Montana were heartbreaking, but thankfully Sally was up to the challenge of helping him learn to love again! And the danger they faced together made their attraction to each other stronger...beautiful!
Aw, such a great romance, just a touch of danger...well more than a touch. Todd's heartbreaking past was such a nightmare, but learning to live and love again is what this series is about.
Todd and Sally's story was full of plot surprises. Todd's journey out of darkness to love was very interesting and well written. Sally's obsession with shelter animals was a bit over the top, especially the number of cats she pushed on each of her friends.
The characters in this book have been developed with such grace that it's hard to imagine the book without all of them. Each character had a purpose in the well developed mystey.
This book was excellent with all the drama of Todd's wife and son being killed and the people after him. Sally getting kidnapped and all that entailed. The ending was great.
Sally works her way into Todd's life and heart with a BIG dog and makes him realize that life goes on. This is such a great series can't wait to read Molly's story.
Another Bridesmaids Club book completed! A love story for sure, but with more twists and turns than the first two books, in my opinion.
The only thing that irritates me a bit is the typos, in all three of this series' books. Not sure if it's a Kindle edition thing or what, but it bothers me!
This was fun, it didn't drag the way i thought it would. And again I have to say I enjoyed the full circled of this story coming from the brides series to this one leading to the next I feel like this is one of my favorite TV series with every word I read.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This is not one of her better stories. The storyline was choppy and abrupt at times and there were multiple editing errors. I have enjoyed her stories so far and will try again but this was fell flat for me.
Logan and Tess. Loved Logan. Tess could get on my nerves. She was pretty bitchy at times. I could feel the friendship of Logan and Tess, not necessarily the love connection. There was a lot going on with other people in the book, which took away from their love story.
school teacher/animal rescuer, Sally is determined to find a forever home for Max and hold an event (wedding) at a recluse's farm and thus the story takes off from there.
