Ella's Data: 31 Days of Trick or Treat 2026: Biker & Mobster

Phoebe’s been my best friend for so long now, it’s hard to remember a time when she wasn’t in my life. As travel nurses, we have had some of the most bizarre yet fun times together. However, she eventually settled down to work at a local hospital when her cousin, Rosa, got pregnant, and after she met the baby’s father, Prophet, her life went in a different direction. Still, she occasionally works for Thelma’s agency, so I get to see her relatively often. The only problem is, he’s around too.
Like a thorn in my side, reminding me of a different time, one I’d rather forget. Not because he was awful to me; no, he showed me something I thought was out of my reach due to my past. I can’t take that chance again; I barely survived the first time.
It’s not something that Fee knows, or even Data, but I suspect the time is coming when I need to bare my soul to both of them and let the chips fall where they may. But fear is a powerful motivator, and I can’t deal with another loss like the one I had all those years ago.
So, I do what I do best—push him away and keep my mouth shut whenever Fee starts to pry.
The biggest question of all is, will he give up on me, on us or will he stand his ground and prove I was wrong?

This one was fun! I liked the history that Ella and Data had, how they managed to work things through and find a way to happy by the end. Loved seeing the haunted house and the changes that the guys are making in the community. It will be fun to see those things put into action in future books.

Love this!
The story of how Ella & Data got together both made me extremely happy, yet broke my heart in some places too.
Loved the haunted house storyline & seeing all the work they put into everything made me say to myself “huh. I don’t realize they were so difficult” lol.
The female friend group reminded me so much of my own. No bunny drama, which was very nice.
I will re-read this again & again, for sure & give it 5 thumbs up!! Way to go Darlene Tallman for another amazing book!

When Ella was in HS she lost the love of her life that she never got over that devastating problem on what happened. Later in life, she met Data but got scared and ran from him. After so many yrs apart they found each other again. Can Ella explain 2 Data about her past or even try 2 take a chance 2 try and love again? Data won't give up this x. The club put on a Halloween haunted house but summer the people turned up drunk and caused trouble. What will happen 2 the haunted house now? It was pretty good. I enjoyed it.

Feelgood Raiders
Absolutely loved this story. Ella is such a strong person who knew she was afraid of love. Data has loved her for years and is determined to breach her defences. This is such a feel good story. I loved it.

okay read
Had higher expectations of this book and felt it lacked sparks between the two. Data was enamoured but Ella just didn’t float my boat. Was okay read but not as good as previous one,

Fabulous!!!
Darlene really brings all the emotions!!!! Past traumas never fully go away but after hard work you can live to the fullest again!!!! I can't wait until February!!!
