Short and sweet! Young and beautiful widow, Kassidy decides to step out of her comfort zone and have a one-night stand. But when she meets Jaxon at the masked ball they both soon realize that one night is not nearly enough!

One Delicate Night was my first time reading Joy Avery's work and it was a great experience. Let's say I've never understood the concept of a one-night stand, but I set out on an adventure with the female lead, Kassidy Monroe, who was after just one delicate night, as she put it.
Well, Kassidy came away from her scorching-hot encounter with less-than-delicate thoughts of Jaxon Prescott on her mind. After they met again, the couple made a serious connection in a short time, which was my only hitch, but I've reminded myself that people have met and fallen in love with their soul mates in no time. Plus, this story is not the usual 60K fare, but its smaller sister.
What I enjoyed most about this novella is that the writer told a complete tale, with some interesting back story thrown in to explain why the characters are the people the reader meets. It's not easy to do that with a limited word count, but this writer did it competently.
I enjoyed Ms. Avery's writing style and have no doubt I'll read her other books.

This was a love story about Kassidy Monroe and Jason Prescott. They first met at a masquerade party given by his friend Weston. It was instant attraction which led to a one night stand. Over time and many dates with stronger attraction it ultimately led to true love.

LOVED IT
I loved and enjoyed reading Kassidy and Jaxon's story,and would absolutely recommend reading this book to anyone who enjoy reading a nice no drama story with much love then this is the book for you. Great job as always Ms. Avery,and please keep these wonderful stories coming, and thank you.

Great short story
It was only supposed to be one night. One night to shake off the cobwebs of the past. One night to be a little irresponsible and carefree. What Jason and Kassidy got was so much more - a love to last a lifetime. A great steamy short story.

I wasn’t ready for it to end!!! I needed so much more! As always Joy pulls you in and grips you with such a wonderful story….this one moved fast and that’s my complaint…lol I wanted more…need more!

Another great book by one of my favorite authors. I was able to read this book in one sitting and found that I could not put is down. In One Delicate Night Jaxon Prescott and Kassidy Monroe shows us that sometimes we can not always control our feelings. Looking forward to the next visit to De Lore Hotel makes a great book read.

Jason & Kassidy will make your eyeballs sweat, in a GOOD way! It's not a sad story but a very powerful one. Two people agreed to one night only. It quickly became something else for both! Highly recommend this novella!
